Just had my truck serviced there. They have the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff of any shop in the area. Will not take my vehicles anywhere else. I recommend taking your vehicle here for anything!!!

Charged me 120$ to not fix the problem. took it to another shop which found the problem right away. LRE told me it was a possibility my sensor was bad. Which is why my abs and traction control light was coming on. They seen exposed cords in my tires. Didn t even look any further. Told me I just needed new tires and alignment. I didn t even need an alignment.I had a leaking axle boot plus my sensor was completely destroyed. Wouldn t work with me for giving me the wrong diagnoses. The lady on the phone was very rude saying my guys don t work for free . I didn t ask for free I asked for compensation for not fixing the problem. If they did their job the first time it wouldn t be a problem. I will never be going back here!!!

LRE should be the first place anyone with car issues should go. I've never dealt with a shop with more integrity and honesty than these guys. Always nice, always honest, always fair... and even though no one likes to have repair costs, it's best if these guys handle it. We do not live in this area but we quickly found out through an experience we had with this auto repair shop how very fortunate this community is to have this incredible auto repair business. We were traveling on our way to Connecticut and an accident with a deer on the road caused a puncture in our gas tank. Our car had to be towed in the middle of the night and not being from this area or knowing anyone we had it sent to LRE Automotive which was only 3.6 miles away. Things happened so quickly we didn t even have an opportunity to google this shop until afterwards. And when we saw the high rating and all of the positive comments written about them we felt so relieved. Well now we can personally attest to how absolutely true these positive comments were. We dealt mainly with Greg at LRE Auto and he was one of the most professional individuals we ve ever encountered in a auto repair shop. He was thorough and efficient. He gave us the facts and he was honest. And the price he quoted to get this job done was very fair. And when we picked up our vehicle we were charged exactly what he had quoted there were no hidden charges and no extra charges as is often the case. By the way, this shop is super busy so if they re not able to meet your turnaround time for working on your vehicle and you have to leave your car longer than you had expected they are most definitely worth the wait. We ve never walked away from any auto repair shop feeling this good about our experience or have stopped to share comments online on any auto repair shop but we were so extremely satisfied with our experience that we just had to share it. This is a trustworthy auto repair shop and we ve already decided that whenever we are in this area that LRE Automotive will be our first choice for any work we need done on our vehicle. Amazing service by Greg and the good people over at LRE! I came in one early morning and was greeted by the service guys same time as they were coming in. The shop has very reasonable, if not the best prices in the area. They also go into detail and give great advice on what they suggest to help keep your car in top-notch condition from bumper to bumper and does not miss a thing!

The folks at LRE always do a fantastic job at a reasonable price. They are my "go to" shop for my vehicles.I would suggest LRE consider senior or veterans discounts on labor. Never hurts to ask, lol.Pat

This place and the people who work there continue to amaze me. Moved to the area from out of state ten years ago and took my car to them. The mechanic where I'd lived previously told me the car needed the head gasket replaced. They looked at the car, tested the system and told me there was no need to replace the head gasket, saving me a ton on an expensive repair. I've been taking vehicles to them ever since and they've consistently done fantastic work, proven themselves trustworthy and gone above and beyond. Thanks for everything you do LRE!

I moved here earlier this year and I had to look for a new car place. Definitely cannot reccomend this place enough. It's very good prices and very good people that you can trust. They work as fast as they can and are transparent with you about what they do. If your reading this go with your local car place who cares and not the corporations who just want a buck. I recently discovered LRE through AAA. They've now serviced all 3 of my vehicles. The employees are cordial. Communication is prompt and accurate. Pricing is very fair and fully disclosed. Appointments are kept and work is completed when promised.

I ve been using LRE for all my vehicles for over 12 years now. They are honest and trustworthy which isn t a given in the auto repair industry. Great customer service and very competitive prices, usually well under what one of the chain stores will quote you. They are up front regarding what is truly needed and what is just recommended, and they never pressure you into anything. Can t speak highly enough of them, will continue to use them exclusively for all my auto repair needs!

Being new to the area, I asked a group of local seniors who the most honest and competent mechanic was in the area, and they sent me here. I've been in twice for routine maintenance and told them I trusted them to fix whatever was needed. My truck has 180,000 miles on it, so anything could've been possible, and the potential was there for me to be taken advantage of. But they only fixed what was necessary. And their labor cost was less than what I expected. I will ONLY go there as long as I'm living in St. Louis.

My family and I have had our cars repaired here for a long time. They do a great job. Greg is an employee I would like to highlight. He took especially good care of my elderly great aunt. His kind, patient, and professional demeanor meant a lot to my great aunt, and I truly appreciate him for that.

We are so thankful to have found this auto repair shop. We've taken our cars here for repairs and oil changes for years ever since we moved to the Edwardsville area and have always been extremely happy with not only the quality of their work, but also the affordable prices. You have to find a repair shop you trust, and these guys are it. They've always been honest and gotten us the best deal for some of our more expensive repair jobs, including checking warranties on parts, and therefore not passing that cost on to us when they could have easily done that. I can't recommend them highly enough, and we'll be taking our cars here for a long time to come.

Needed a new battery and a good once over after my car refused to start and was very difficult to jump. The folks at LRE diagnosed the problem without padding the bill. They also worked hard to get the car fixed quickly since I live in Missouri and needed the transportation quickly. Shop and waiting area were clean (including the bathroom) which is a big plus for me! Highly recommend.

This is why they have such high rating. I haven't been serviced here yet but I will be back. I came in for some consultation. Greg came out to me. Friendly. He was patient and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed like I felt at other car shops. I felt he cared about my situation. I gave a five star and will be bringing my truck in here.

We've been using LRE auto for years they've always been professional fair and honest this last time they did not charge. I They just did not think it was worth charging for took care of my vehicle and told me to have a good day hard the fine Customer service and honesty like this.

Took my 2008 Acadia in to have it checked out. Leaking oil, brakes bad, just wasn't running right. LRE gave me an estimate of $2,500 to repair. Took vehicle in yesterday and they were able to do all the repairs for under $800 due to finding the true cause of the oil leak. I had already agreed to the $2,500 repair so I am very thankful they are an honest shop with great technicians. Thanks LRE Automotive! I'll be recommending you to all of my friends!

When the tow truck and I arrived with my "immobilized" car a half hour before LRE's scheduled opening on a Friday morning Terry and D were sitting at the desk already working. Since my car's oil light had come on when my gears failed to engage I assumed there was something seriously wrong with the car, but they put the computer on it and discovered low voltage was the only thing keeping everything from working. All I needed was a new battery and I was on my way again. Thanks so much to these guys for taking on an unscheduled traveler's woes! As well as everyone being very nice the place is very clean and bright with a nice warm waiting room. I saw most of the guys come into work and they all appeared cheerful. The tow truck driver said he owned a body shop and he wouldn't hesitate to have his car fixed here. It's AAA approved!

Bid was not realistic. Labor quote was double what the book time is for the job. Man was polite, but won't be coming here personally. May have just been something they aren't use to doing. Regular service may be more in line with other shops.

My daughter blew her engine; they fixed it. Absolutely no extra cost "padding " was added. My wife and I are now LRE evangelists. People who know me in Edwardsville know that I tend to research things to the Nth degree. Trust me, these folks are the real deal.
