I had a great experience with Ken at EDW auto. He was honest, and fixed a issue that had me so frusterated and defeated. Also, he did not charge me a weeks paycheck just to look at it. He is honest and fair. This will be the only place my family goes to from now on.

The owner is very knowledgeable. He talks with me about my car problems and is willing to work with my schedule to get things taken care of. He's very nice.

Was able to get into shop the next day called, service done in less then 48 hours and back to us to drive. Highly recommend to anyone needing their vehicle worked on. So easy to work with.

I went in today for an emissions test and was in and out in under 5 minutes. Not only were they incredibly quick, but they were all so incredibly kind. Anytime I need any further service for my car, I will happily and easily choose them. Professional, friendly, and affordable!

I have been going to Edwardsville Auto for the majority of my car repair needs for many years now, and although I believe I have never had anything but competent, honest, and cost effective service from them before, I am particularly pleased with my last experience with them and what they were able to do to help my situation, when another mechanic had explored the problem and had ultimately suggested that I "junk" my classic car. What I had was a melted module. What Ken did was work with us as they always have to locate harder to find parts, integrate them, and get my car safely back in running order. From what I understand, sixty plug connections later, and my car is on the road again and running just fine, as opposed to sitting in some junkyard, and has some life left in her yet....Thank you so much, Ken and staff.

Ken is THE BEST of THE BEST in Edwardsville. My son's Jeep had bad front calipers (my son and his family had my "reliable" van in Canada...haha), calipers smoking on my way to work, and HOT. I had to pull over or risk the entire front end catching fire! We had Cross Towing tow it into Ken.....we were 3rd row.....Ken and his crew were swamped! Ken got it fixed at a very reasonable price within less than a week for us! My family has always trusted Ken and will continue to do so! He is honest, reliable and doesn't overcharge for anything! He gets the job done and does it right!! Thanks so much, Ken, once again!!

Guys are old school and awesome. Direct, professional, and quick. Would recommend anyone to come here and at least get a quote from them before they seek auto services from somewhere else.

I had a headlight out and it was too complicated for me to do myself so i Called and set up an appointment time really easy, then the day before appointment came and i dropped my car off and they had it done on time and the price for doing the work was reasonable and cheaper than I was quoted somewhere else. they were all friendly too.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

The staff at Edwardsville Auto are always extremely kind and friendly. They get the work done for a reasonable price and I have never had an issue with them trying to get me to do stuff I do not need or pushy about stuff I do need. They just let you know what they think should or can be done and let you make the decision from there. I have gone other places closer to me, but I am always unsatisfied with the service, so I am here to stay.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

The owner had my car for 5 months didn t know what he was doing, and messed my car up so badly that it s totaled out. I wouldn t ever go there again and I tell everyone to stay away.

I needed an emissions test today. After driving to another facility, only to discover they were closed, I ended up at Edwardsville Auto. They were very friendly and completed the test quickly at no cost. I will be using this facility from now on. I would recommend making an appointment as a courtesy to the staff, but they were very accommodating to me as a walk-in client today. Excellent experience!

Amazing shop, straight forward down to earth owner and technicians.Came in for an emissions test, and was greeted right away by Ken who was very friendly, professional, and efficient. My vehicle was taken in right away and the test was performed without incident. Parking here is tight, but theres enough room to get in and out.Thank you for the great service, I highly recommend this shop to anyone local, as I am confident they will take good care of you.

How wonderful to have fast, friendly emissions testing right here in town! Ken and his staff are warm and welcoming. I called ahead to find out whether I needed an appointment. Ken said he doesn't require them, but that it's nice to get a heads-up of an emissions testing vehicle's eta so they don't have 15 people at once waiting. I could tell that it was important to him that people don't have to wait very long. I was in and out in 5 minutes or less, and he even backed the truck out for me.

Ken and his team are very good at what they do! Some of the best and they are very affordable! I am a customer of theirs for life, they've always taken great care of my husband and I! If you go, tell him Emily Gaither sent ya! He'll work with you!

I was very happy with the service I received! My son moved to Edwardsville recently and was needing repairs to his truck. Not being from the area, I took a leap of faith that I was going to find an honest and reasonable mechanic to fix his truck so that he was on the road safely. I don't have any regrets with that leap of faith. Ken called me many times just to give me an update and let me know what was needed. He was genuine and upfront with me throughout the whole process, which I appreciated greatly. Thank you to Ken and all who were involved! I would highly recommend and my son will definitely be a returning customer.

Always easy to get in within a few days. Feel they do quality work without the high price of other auto repair shops. Professional, friendly, always get a follow up call the following day after service to make sure everything is ok with your vehicle.

Edwardsville Auto is without a doubt the best auto shop in the STL area. Ken is respectful, a fast worker, and a person of high integrity. I had an issue with my F150s air conditioning. Edwardsville Auto fixed the issue in a single day at a very fair price. Several days later, the AC went out again (nothing the shop could have predicted) and they went as far as taking it in and fixing it after hours to fit my busy work schedule at no extra cost. Ken told me if there were any issues to feel completely free to call. They are all you can ask for and more out of an auto shop.Service: Air conditioning

The owner was very rude and unprofessional to me. I had my car towed there after it overheated. The owner agreed to look at it 2 days from the day I dropped it off. I told him I needed to pick it up and take it to Valvoline to get the radiator flushed a day before he was even able to look at it and he argued with me that if I take it to Valvoline he won t look at it. I m glad I chose a different auto body to diagnose my car.

Ken will never do you wrong. I have known him for many, many years because my sister lives near by. Every time I come to visit my sister he looks my vehicle over and has even done work for me while I'm visiting. The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. If you want an honest place to go I highly recommend this place.

I just had to take my car in for a handful of repairs and maintenance issues. The people were very friendly and easy to work with. They were also honest (a rare trait in auto mechanics) advising me that some of the maintenance tasks I mentioned weren't actually necessary at this time. And when a part didn't arrive in time to be installed, they gave me a loaner car to use overnight. I didn't have to miss a single day of work. Great experience!
