2nd trip back to see these guys. Had a topper done 6 or so months ago and had a great experience dealing with them. I called a couple days ago about adding cab lights and a light bar and they had me in and out in 3 days from the phone call. Great service and very fair pricing! Would highly recommend you give them a shot!

I am blown away by the service of the team at J&J. I ordered a topper before a big camping trip with my family. The delivery was delayed at the manufacturer that was beyond their control. I was getting updates and they all knew I needed it before I headed west. Kyle texted me at 4:45 the night before from his personal phone and met me at the shop the following morning, before normal business hours to get my topper installed. Furthermore, he took the time to take care of the little details like hand washing it before he installed it. Top notch customer service and they now have a customer for life. This is why you shop with local, small businesses!

Extremely impressed with the experience I had at J&J Toppers. Excellent experience, great customer service and excellent pricing. I was blown away by how fast they got the job done. (Thought it would be a couple of weeks, but installed same day) Would recommend. Highly.

Update : After about a week we had a heavy rain. Had a major leak. Checked inside and a srew had come out of widow flange. Went back to dealer and they checked for leaks and tightened screws around window. Said if it leaks again may have to replace seal in window. Poor workmanship and quality control. Previous post - purchased an A.R.E. Topper and entire process went well. Pleased with the product and the installation.

These guys are awesome. We ordered our topper and then had to wait to get it put on. Not only did they store it for us but told me no rush and were very understanding. When I called they got me an appointment the same week, did a beautiful job and it took less time than estimated to install it. Would go back in a heart beat.

I ordered my topper during the Summer of Covid in preparation for a fall hunting trip. They were very easy to work with and offered good advice on what features would be most beneficial.It was not J&J s fault that ARE had production difficulties due to shutdowns and health protocols thus continually pushing back the delivery date. But when the topper came same day of the night I wanted to leave they made sure I had it on (even stayed late to do so) and was ready to roll. There was no way I could have had all the gear and dogs I wanted on this trip and not had a bed full of mud, without their commitment to helping their customer.

I found J&J Toppers while looking online for a new bed cover, and I can't reccomend this place highly enough! I got a good deal on my cover, and both guys were super nice. Even the shop was clean and organized, which is something I personally look for. Couldn't ask for better service, and my Bak industries bed cover is very high quality. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Excellent service. I ordered an Bakflip bed cover and running boards for my new truck. Parts came in quickly and were installed by the team flawlessly. There was an issue with the running boards, not J&J Toppers problem, but one from their supplier. They worked with me to correct the issue. I feel they have done a great job at customer service, installation, and communications. I would definitely do business with them again. It is great to support a local business and these guys deserve the support.

Excellent service. Had B&W Hitch and air suspension put on. Issues with parts arriving, but they called and kept me informed throughout. Made me feel that my business was appreciated. Prices very competitive and GREAT service. My truck was very clean and shiny after they were done with it. They all had great personalities and have earned all my future business.

Man, I'm glad I came across this place. After careful study I drove 50 miles to do business here, and I am glad I did. Topper & side steps both came out beautiful. Prices were very good and quality of work was excellent! Ryan and Brent are top notch. They work on your truck like it's their own. Check them out, you will not regret it!!

Purchased a ARE topper last week from someone, found I needed my truck wired for the topper. Stopped in n he looked it over,set an appt for Oct 18 at 9amShow up n he took less than an hour to get it wired and fixed the auto lock for the topper door. Very very pleased with his work. Recommend for your upgrades or anything truck related.

They did a great job on my truck with my topper Brent and Kyle r great guys . I can't remember the other guys name. . But Also Brent detailed my truck also . It is amazing and sooo shiny... these guys have always done great by me and my x we both have always got our toppers from JJ toppers they do great business with there customers. Thanks again guys ..

Top notch! Courteous, friendly, accommodating, and amazing work. Our lab puppy was stuck in the back of our truck with our topper on. J&J Toppers waited for us to get there, even after they were to be closed. They worked hard to get our puppy out and fixed our topper after hours. This kind of service is few and far between.

Stopped by their store to get a topper door fixed because it leaks. I was told that they would get a price on the parts and call me. Stopped by 3 weeks later, didn't know what I was talking about. Asked to order the parts to get it fixed before winter. They said they would call me. Never received any call. I'm done with this place. I have bought a new topper from them years ago, it was nice. This is why I went to them again, but their service now sucks big time.

I don't even know where to begin when telling how great this business is. The installation on the used topper we purchased is phenomenal. The men went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They were friendly, courteous, professional, and the job was well done. I won't hesitate to recommended J&J to anyone needing a new topper, floor mats, bed liner, or tool boxes. These guys are the cream of the crop!

The velcro on my bed cover wasn t holding anymore. I stopped in to inquire about getting it replaced. I did not purchase my cover from them previously but Instead of them trying to sell me the new Velcro, Brent came out to figure out what was wrong, replaced the Velcro for me and sent me in my way for free!

Be aware (as J&J Toppers is) there is a good chance with newer Toyota Tacoma s and ARE toppers you will have a leak. It s a design issue on the Tacoma, one that the owner and installer are fully aware of but failed to inform me until after I spent $2200 on the topper, they installed it, sent me home, and the first rain I had puddles in the bed of my truck. As soon as I noticed the leak (about a week after the install) I immediately drove it over and they spent two hours trying to fix it all the while blaming the truck. In the end it still leaks with minimal water at low pressure being sprayed on the top of the topper. The owner who only got involved after the installer gives up tells me well toppers aren t submarines . And at least 4 times blames it on the truck again and swears he is going to quit selling the toppers for Tacomas but at the same time says they will have to call ARE and see if they have a solution even though he admitted multiple times that everyone is aware of the problem (except the unknowing customer). I told the owner I had a solution, take the topper off, and give me my money back. He laughed out loud and said well that isn t going to happen that s a special order. So that s how we left it, they are calling ARE and I m deciding whether I want the hassle of filing formal complaint. Sadly, no where in this interaction was there an apology or any indication of any acceptance of responsibility on the part of J&J Topper. It was very obvious I was screwing up their Friday afternoon by expecting my new topper not to leak. (What a mess it would have been if I would have bought the $500 carpet kit they tried to up sale me). Please don t think I m over reacting when I write this, I ve bought at least one, maybe two other toppers from this business. ( did I mention when I initially showed up to order the topper the price was $200 higher than the quote over the phone. When I questioned the price increase I was told the factory price had gone up but they would honor the two day old quote, I probably should have walked out the door then) I do not know if it s the same owner that I ve purchased from in the past but I do know I m the customer and I spent a lot of money for a product that J&J Toppers were fully aware may leak on my model of truck. Buyer beware. I suggest when you pickup your truck with the new topper you have them spray it down for you to prove it doesn t leak before you pay your balance.
