This shop is absolutely amazing!!! Me and my family were traveling when all our a sudden our oil light started blinking. We were not from the area but we called and they got us in and figured out what was going on and had the issue fixed in under a hour. They are awesome and I would definitely recommend going here for any car problems

I had an excellent experience with towing and my vehicle's repair. Ryan was kind and quick to arrive even though I needed towed from out of town. They were quick but thorough in diagnosing the issue and the repair was reasonably priced. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much!

We blew a tire on 55 and called two other places and they said no. I called Coleman and Son and they were so helpful and there in minutes. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much for helping us today.

We had our car die when it was -25 in Dwight earlier this week on MLK Day. We reached out to our roadside assistance program and they never got back to us. I was referred to Coleman and Son Garage by another auto repair in town who couldn't help that day. Ryan and his team came to our rescue and within 20 mins. we had the car in the shop for an hour or so and they fixed it. We were able to continue our cross country travel warm and safe. Can't thank them all enough. Awesome service and very reasonable pricing.

Everyone at Coleman was extremely helpful and honest. They towed our car when it got stranded on a trip to Springfield. They were communicative the entire time and when they ultimately were unable to fix our car they were 100% honest about it. Highly recommend. Good people.

Coleman and Son s saved us from a huge headache. We had a tire leak and 4 more hours to go on our road trip. They answered super quickly and got the tire repaired in less than 10 minutes. We are so grateful for them and their amazing work ethic. We recommend this place and their employees. We even got some souvenirs to remember how amazing their service was! Thank you so much!

We ve been going to Coleman for a couple of months as we re new to the area, so we re relatively new customers. My girlfriends car broke down today and they no hesitation sent someone out for a tow and rescheduled our appointment for tires and got us in for a diagnostic. On the way home from picking her up after her tow my truck started acting up and my alternator was as going out. Ryan, who was driving the tow truck, passed us on their way back to the shop, stopped, turned around and asked us if we needed a tow. He followed us to the shop AND replaced the alternator and sent us on our way. After today we decided they will forever get our business.

My power steering and alternator belt broke while on a long drive to Southern Illinois and they were able to help me out. They closed at 5 and it was 4:30 when this happened. They had 3 guys working on it while someone else ran to go get parts. They really saved the day and got me back on the road so quickly. Thank you Cileman and Sons Garage!

The driver that came and picked up ny car last night was amazing. He was so kind and he took me back to my house and even grabbed my carseats out and put them in my garage for me. I hope I don't need a tow again but if I do, I know who I am calling!

My son had an early morning spin out on ice and ended up in a ditch on the side of the highway. This shop responded quickly and were so friendly which put both my son and I at ease. Would highly recommend.

Best service ever! They saved my girlfriend who was stranded when her rental EV battery died suddenly. Her driver drove her 25 miles to the nearest charger, stayed 20 minutes extra helping her figure out how to work the charger, and was extremely kind the whole time. 12/10 recommend! We were driving through on our way home to texas and had a leak out of nowhere. It was pretty scary since we had a long way to go. I gave them a call, they answered in less than 2 minutes and we were there in 5 minutes after. The front desk and technicians were amazing. Got the job done in less than 10 minutes and at a very great price. We even got a shirt to show support!

Highly highly recommend going with this shop/ tow service. They helped me out in an emergency situation on the side of the road. They got there quickly, were super helpful and made sure I was fully taken care of before they left.

This is the most wonderful auto shop I've ever been to everyone is so friendly they are extra knowledgeable about all cars certified in ALL areas and the owner Calvin is an absolute pleasure to work with they know what they're doing and Calvin is the most trustworthy honest man I've ever met I refuse to business anywhere except for here and if you can make the drive out here for your car it's definitely worth it compared to other autoshops!be on the look out for Doug too is an absolute pleasure to work with and everyone's so friendly and kind! This is the best mechanic I've ever been to!

Doug and Kevin were beyond helpful when we had transmission issues on our way to a wedding. They went out of their way to assess our car quickly and offered advice on the issue and car rentals in the area. So kind, so helpful! Can t recommend them enough.

Brought my vehicle in Friday morning. Because I was told they would be able to do it the same day. Then later on was told they were understaffed so I somewhat understood. I called before they closed to ask what the plan was. Before they close for the weekend. Because ide already Ben without a vehicle for a few days and hav missed work. No one answered phone or bothered to call me back. This morning was told he's not fixing it anymore because I left a one star review.. really!? That's ridiculous! The communication at this garage is trash. I had a bad experience in past with my previous vehicle needing engine repairs. Payed 2 grand . They had my vehicle for a month. Wen I got it back the engine blew less than a week later! Idk why I gave them another chance after that. Wouldn't recommend this garage to anyone.

This place was horrible. The lack of communication and lies they told were ridiculous. My car went in for a water pump which is an 8 hour job, I got my car back 6 weeks later. They damaged parts on my car and then tried to back track. They added and charged for parts not on original estimate because they had wiggle room in the estimate so they went ahead and replaced it without speaking to me. Repaired and axel that I was never told was broken, and wasn t when the car went in to their shop. If there was wiggle room in the estimate then that means you over charged but was trying to find things to charge me so you could recoup lost money from the error you made and the damage you caused to my vehicle.

We would highly recommend Coleman & Son for towing and repairs! They were able to tow our Jeep almost immediately and got it back to us incredibly quickly. Calvin and Ryan were both extremely professional and explained everything thoroughly. Their rates were very reasonable and they made paying the bill simple (via smart phone!) We wouldn t hesitate to take our car back to them if we need to in the future.

Ryan was so great! My husband and kids were stranded on the side of the road and Ryan jumped in the tow truck and was there within minutes. He gave my husband a very reasonable quote and had him back on the road within an hour! 600 miles from home, 15 minutes before closing my vehicle won't go. Great operator and staff stayed to analyze and help with solution on Friday before New Years Eve. Hope I don't ever have to return but if I'm anywhere in the area and need my vehicle worked on I will return to Coleman and son!!!

Would recommend to anyone! Not only was he professional and quality-oriented, but he communicated with me every step of the way! I had a problem with my highly-modified diesel, and he not only got my fixed up, but at a fraction of the price any other shop quoted me. One of the best mechanics I have ever known! Highly recommend!

Coleman & Son was recommended by a towing company we called in Wilmington after my wife broke down near Dwight. Ryan came right out to the Casey's there and tested the alternator, found it to be bad, towed the car and replaced it right away (it was luck he had the alternator in stock), total time about 1.5 hours. He then delivered the car to the restaurant where my wife and her sister were waiting. I was driving home when I heard something from the bottom of my car scraping the ground. I pulled off at the Dwight exit and searched for Mechanics. When I saw Coleman and Son had a 5 star rating on Yelp, I took a chance. The folks there were extremely helpful, kind, quick, and charged me a very fair price for taking off my car's dragging heat shield. I could not have lucked out any better than I did. If you drive 55 with any frequency, please keep them in mind if you find yourself in a pinch!

Coleman & Son Garage was a pleasure to work with. We blew a tire on the expressway just before Dwight, IL. I called roadside assistance for AAA, waited an hour and a half (app and text said they were in the way). Called AAA to find out they could not find a service provider for the location. Called Coleman & Son Garage and they arrived to us within 15 mins and towed us to another garage that had our tire in stock. The young man that came out was so polite, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend!!
