I've gotten an oil change there twice now, and every time I go, they are very thorough and friendly and the prices are fair!! I will definitely keep going there for oil changes and repairs

They did complete my job but they definitely over charge you .. Myself and my kids was taking our car there but til just recently as yesterday my son took his car there for no heat and they call and tell him that his car is ready and it s still no heat and as usual they over charged him and didn t fix the problem and now they mad and because he brought it back there and doesn t want to fix it They scamming and they lie and they get they get they parts for our cars at Advance auto and Auto Zone and tell us not to get it there while the whole time they getting the parts from there !!!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

This place is a joke. I took my car there because it was stalling. Sparks' mechanics took a look at my car and said they could not determine what the problem was. After the store manager told me that, he then said that he was still forced to charge me for the mechanics time which was $60. I then took my car to another shop and they very quickly determined that I had a bad fuel pump. They replaced it and that solved my problem.However, Sparks still took my money and did nothing for me.I will never go t ok Sparks again!

This comment is somewhat old, however, I did want to make it public. I brought my car to this place because it was stalling. After leaving my car with them, they later called me and said they could not figure out the problem, however, despite them not being able to diagnose the problem with my car they still charged me! I took the car elsewhere and the other place very quickly found the problem. Sparks gets a FAIL from me.

Fast and quality service. Did only what I wanted done. They even did extra at no charge by added an air filter, adjusted a loose manifold that was making rattling noise when idling, and added another 9 month s on battery warranty. They won me over and will visit again for any future automotive needs.

Ok... I had an issue and initially overreacted.Upon further inspections I did notice smoke. But the smoke was there due to some small oil spillage. After letting the engine run a bit the problem went away.The water drip was not coolant but condensation from the AC.They are prolly gonna work with my schedule and do the engine clean again so no hot oil residue / smoke gets in the cab again.I messed up by overreacting. They were cool about it and there were no issues. They basically were doing their job well and there was only a small hiccup on my part.

I had my car towed to sparks on a monday night on tuesday I went and described the problems I was having, later that night I was told it would be almost 500 bucks and that I could not pay for a week but said to go and and do the repair. I hear nothing in the mean time so I assume that the repairs where completed in a timely manor and they where waiting on me so I come back one week later in the morning to be told oh your car is.not ready yet. So I come back when they call pay the money only the car has THE SAME EXACT PROBLEMS!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THESE PPL!!!!!!

Terrible went in to get a pair tire out on said he was going to charge me 10$. They had trouble getting two lug nuts off. I asked how much it was going to be couldn t get an answer charged me 210$ totally ridiculous never go here

Great service on my '02 Envoy. Will be going back as needed for future work on my cars. Vaince is very fair and they know what they are doing.

Vance is the best, been going to sparks in downers grove for almost 8 years. I live Lakeview now and drive to see Vance if I ever need anything.

This place is horrible my car was over heating they miss diagnosed my car they told me it was my thermostat and radiator so I replaced them both they charged over 500 dollars in less than 2 weeks car was still overheating they said it was something different they broke things on purpose to keep me coming back don't take your car to them you will be sorry.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
