I have been going to J&C for many years and have always had great service at a fair price. This is really to place to go if you don't want to be sold repairs that you don't actually need at an inflated price. The work is done well and I've never had to return for adjustments. They go above and beyond with courtesy rides, after hours drop-off, and a kind and clear explanation when breaking the bad news that your car is going to need major repairs. They have also helped me out with towing and body work. It is so wonderful to find honest, exceptional service so close to home. Mike and the guys at J&C did great. I trust them with classic cars and they diagnosed issues with my classic car, sourced parts, and did the repair in A DAY. The install was cleanly done and looks great, and the work done makes the car's driving great! Great shop from big repairs to oil changes and tires. They have been my go to for over a quarter of a century. The owner takes a ton of pride in keeping customers happy and is a good honest guy. Great shop, long lead times. Edit. The second time I contacted them to get my car repaired after it died on the road I was told it works be 6 weeks before it could be diagnosed.

If you are looking for a HONEST mechanic shop, you have found them, great communication, fair prices and great breakdown of the issue you car has. J&C has been consistently good for the 28 years I have taken my car to their shop. It's been in business since the mid-50's so they must be doing something right! The work is done professionally, they listen to what you tell them, and the price is always reasonable.Update: now it's 2021 and my opinion is the same -- still great work at reasonable prices.Update: it's 2023 and I'm still taking my cars to J&C, still all good! J&C now also has a body shop if you need accident repairs.

Our family has been taking our vehicles to J&C for over 10 years. I should have posted a review a long time ago. I feel as though I am treated like a VIP every time I go and I am sure they treat all of their customers that way. I can always rely on them to diagnose issues accurately and give options for corrective measures (if applicable). Never pressure tactics. On the very rare occasion that a problem persists after service, they they have always responded appropriately. I hope this review helps anyone who may be looking for a trustworthy and reliable place to service your vehicle. Customer service will exceed your expectations. P.S - whenever I need to rent a moving truck for any reason, I always go here as well. They lease Penske trucks/vans.

Best in Class experience. I thought my front brakes were due for replacement. They called me to let me know the front brakes were within specifications but the BACK brakes needed replacement. Called me when the work was complete, under the estimated cost and picked me up to get my jetta as well. A great experience!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I'm From out of state and had a vehicle inspected by then before heading there to purchase the vehicle. I thought the vehicle was in good shape from what the used car lot dealer said (star motors). This was not the case. I appreciated their unbiased opinion on the trucks conditions. Saved me lots of money and headache. Very honest folks here! Much appreciated!Service: Vehicle Inspection

These guys are friendly, fair, and most of all trustworthy. I never take my vehicles elsewhere. Dealing with Mike and Joe is easy. They will educate you so know exactly what's going on with your vehicle and advise you on fixing it. They never push you to make unnecessary repairs. Very appreciative of everything they do!

I usually wait to give a review until I've have several interactions with a business. Had the vehicle in the other day with several complications. J & C has proven several times to be honest, quick, and affordable. Mike is such a good person to deal with. Use their services. You won't regret it.

It was my first time using this shop for any work. My car had two deep scratches/dents I wanted cover, one of them has already rusted. I had to leave my car in the shop for three days to make sure all paint has dried. When I got to pick it up, everything looked amazing. You can t even tell there were any scratches at all. I would absolutely recommend this shop and will come back in the future if needed!

If you live in the area, J&C Auto is where you should take your car for repairs. I've taken my cars to them for years, and time after time, I have received excellent service at a very reasonable price. Joe, Mike, and the rest of the crew have always been very honest and courteous. You won't get jerked around by these guys, ever.

J&C has been my go to auto place. Honest, fair, friendly and communicative. They always try to take care of us as they will tell me what to repair and what is not worth it. I even had times when an intermittent problem came up and did not show up on their test, but each time they are still friendly when I bring it back and they want to help! Highest recommend.

I've been going to J&C Auto for years now and I have been completely happy with everything they have done for my high mileage car. They are very knowledgeable and explain things about my car and repairs in terms I can understand. When I have my car in for service/repair, they keep me updated on the progress of the diagnosis and repair. I had gone to a dealership for repairs and service for quite some time, but once I found J&C, and their great prices, I never looked back. Find out for yourself and give them a try.

My family has been going to J&C Auto since who knows when--all the way back to my grandfather. Each time we go here we receive nothing short of the BEST service in town. They will not lie to you and they will not overcharge you (unlike most shops in the area, or in general). Specifically, I went in on my lunch break and Mike was above and beyond helpful. The light came on warning me of low tire pressure and they made sure they checked the pressure and fixed it in time for me to go back to work. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone. You will not be let down. J&C is the best of the best in this area--state really.

This is the only shop I will take my cars to. I was a ASE certified mechanic for 10 years. I am very picky about what I want done to my cars. Mike is an excellent service writer. Fair, honest, and trustworthy. Great mechanics who do it right the first time with no push to buy extras like over priced wipers and filters (Jiffy, Sears, Firestone, etc...) You will need to book an appointment. Proper maintenance prevents equipment failure.

I have been coming to J and C for 15+ years. I have always known them to be courteous, professional, honest and helpful. It is a great thing to be able to trust in the service and care when needing a repair or question. I do have that! J&C has been my family's go to mechanic for as long as I can remember. I know I can always trust the diagnosis from Mike and the team, and feel comfortable asking any questions I might have. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I can t thank Mike and the crew he has there enough. Some of the most professional and accommodating staff I ve been across. It s so hard to find a trustworthy crew of technicians and mechanics to work on your cars repeatedly and this is the place to go for that. Don t look anywhere else I m so lucky to have them close by. J&C Auto did a great job repairing the muffler on my old mini van recently. I was able to schedule an almost immediate appointment and the job was finished early. Thanks for giving my ancient vehicle a new lease of life once again!!

Brought my vehicle to J&C because they were highly recommended from friend. I had shocks replaced and multiple sensors so I could pass emissions due to an electrical issue. I had to bring my car back 3-4 times and spent over +$2500 in parts and labor in 2 months because they could not fix my car. They blew out my replacement shocks during the repair (they stripped a nut to the strut) and the electrical issues came back less than 4 months after the "repairs". A mechanic told me they spliced the wiring to hide my sensor issue. I never went back to them again.Hope your repairs go better than mine.

Not what you would call professional mechanics. Will charge you an arm and a leg to guess with parts/repairs, without doing the job of a mechanic to find the actually cause of the issue first.You won t find my name on file because it was my girlfriends car. 600 dollars for a tuneup? Are you kidding? This shop will fleece you if they think you don t know any better.
