I absolutely hated car shopping, until I contacted Genesis of DG. They were informative before I even walked into the showroom on a specific car I was interested in. They were not annoyingly pushy. My sales consultant Stephanie Long was THE BEST!!! I loved her from the moment I met her. She made the car buying process easy, was fun, efficient and overall amazing human being. I felt like I got a great deal, and didn't feel like I was being taken by extra fees. Everything was stated up front, nothing sneaky or hidden, I will be buying my next car from this dealership, and all the future ones. I got an amazing car, a great deal, and felt comfortable, relaxed, and confident the entire time. Thanks Stephanie and crew for an amazing experience!

Had a really good experience at this dealership. I ve bought many cars and this dealership is one of the best I have dealt with. No pressure and made me feel comfortable. Joe the General Manager and Eduardo my salesperson were very transparent and easy to work with. Even watched the interactions of other sales personnel and all were very professional.

Best experience buying a car I ve ever had. We started at the Genesis in Glenview but that team was unreasonable in its negotiations and unresponsive. So I called Downers Grove - and Joe & Joe were a great team. They were responsive and tried hard to get a deal done that would make everyone happy in a timely fashion. They were extremely pleasant and helpful.

I normally do not like visiting the car-dealerships, because they are so pressure oriented. I did not get that feeling at this dealership. I appreciated that. I am enjoying driving my new car. The salesperson was just great "Allen Jones". He answered questions and concerns that I had.He took us on a test drive, and we went far enough so that I got a great feel for handling the vehicle.Thank you for your hospitality! I was not planning on purchasing a car the same day I started looking for one. But after going to two other dealerships, I decided to stop by to check out the new genesis. I already had my eye on it, but didn t really know a whole lot about it other than general safety features were highly rated. I was lucky to get, a man named Gilbert, who was the specialist on the genesis to help go over all the specs of the car. The genesis had all the same features, if not more when comparing to other luxury brands. I just really appreciate the time Gilbert spent with me before the sale, and after the sale to go over the features inside and outside of the car. I could have just drove away, but he spent extra time with me afterward. He even want me to come back again for another appointment to go over any other questions I have. I am extremely pleased with the service that I experienced and I definitely recommend that if people are looking for a luxury vehicle consider the Genesis.

I recently leased a vehicle from Genesis of Downers Grove and the service was great. I worked with Mike and he really knows about the vehicle. He was patient and he made sure that I got what I wanted and what I needed. He was very patient, personable, and had great customer service. The purchase of my G-90 went reasonably well. Except for the fact that they only had one set of keys for the car. They promised they would get the second set delivered to me in a short period of time. I waited a month and no contact. I sent emails, left messages with staff, voice messages and nothing will their attention. Now we are at four months and nothing. Not leaving me with a lot of confidence on getting service done there. I had high hopes for this dealership. I am hoping this might help get their attention and I might finally get a response. Kiwon if your out there please respond.

Avoid this dealer at all costs! Other Genesis dealers are much easier to deal with. I worked with Ricardo Mendoza to buy a new G70. We made the deal over the phone, he assured me the car was in mint condition, so I flew across the country at my own expense and he said he would reimburse the Uber ride from the airport to the dealer. When I arrived at the dealer he informed me that the car had a scratch in it. It ended up being a 6 inch long gouge down to the bare metal. They only offered a $500 discount.I walked away and they wouldn't even provide a courtesy vehicle to take me a half mile down the road to get a rental car, but Rick said he would still pay for my Uber. It's been two months and the money never arrived and Rick is ignoring my request for reimbursement now.This dealer won't keep their word and showed no remorse for the major inconvenience they caused. Take your money elsewhere and avoid dealing with Rick and the rest of his crew.

I dont know who approved the dealer license for this service.I took my GV80 for mandatory oil change and filters and they changed only oil without Air ,Oil and Cabin filter which were mandatory at 14k by factory.The mechanics are some kids that have no idea what they are doing. He was working on my car with some cargo pants with zippers on the front, so i had to ask him to put something not to scratch the car. Also he was filling oil with plastic can.I would never take my car there again.

We had a fantastic experience purchasing our Genesis. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by Mike. He patiently showed us a number of cars and answered all our questions. A month later when the car we wanted arrived he again walked us through everything we needed to feel comfortable about the purchase. We also had a great and easy experience with Randy in finance. We never felt pressured to add more than we wanted to. Buying a car here was a pleasure

After an initial review of the finance department Randy how nice he was to deal with while buying the car, I had to take my Genesis car for service, the date for service is 6 weeks. I don't think we wait this long for a medical procedure. Customer service is nonexistent. I went to the dealership with my wife to buy an extra warranty. there were literally 6 guys standing, no one cared to ask what we were looking. Genesis cars may be nice, but it's an awful experience after that, I owned Lexus, Infiniti, and Acura I never once felt like this. Until things improve after-sales I don't think i would like to deal with these people. These guys miss the whole point, Selling car is only half the story. The experience sucks to deal with this dealership. I don't think whoever running the place knows customer service, let alone luxury car after-service,I genuinely Hope they improve their customer service.

Horrible service. Do not take your car here for service. They will take forever to work on your car and then you will have to run behind them to get your paperwork done. They won t even attend your call. I called 5 times before I was connected to the service center. People there have no clue what customer care is.

This Genesis location has the BEST and most competitive pricing by far. Nizar Assria is the dream salesman. He's very knowledgeable, professional and communicates better than any other salesman out there. I purchased from Ohio and Nizar made the entire purchase process/car buying experience easier and as painless as possible. He is honest and trustworthy. Overall AWESOME experience at Genesis of Downers Grove (Castle Hyundai) & with Nizar Assria. 1000% satisfied

The Genesis of Downers Grove has always been a pleasure to visit! Mike P. and Chris J. in the service department, among other super friendly staff, are great professionals and outstanding at taking care of customers.While the chip shortage affected the car industry with limited availabilities, I had no choice but to purchase my vehicle from out of Illinois. Since then, I have had my car at the Genesis of Downers Grove for scheduled services and maintenance.For my first visit, I stopped by to pick up some accessories I had ordered earlier. My order was on time and at the right price, way below what other dealerships offered! Mike has always been professional, right to the point, and friendly. During another visit and following up on one of my polishing-related questions, Chris was genuinely informative. In addition to sharing the required product details with me, he even took a microfiber and guided me on how to use the product. Not all service managers devote such time to customers!The dealership's main building has also been recently renovated. The new facility is quite welcoming and equipped with a relaxing waiting area.Overall, I highly recommend the Genesis of Downers Grove! It is my first choice when it comes to vehicle maintenance.

Mike greeted me warmly from the minute I walked in the door. He was very personable and easy to talk to. He came back with a deal for me on a G70 that was way better than I expected. Overall, he made the process super comfortable and enjoyable from beginning to end! Would gladly return for future purchases and refer others as well.

Great experience as a first-time car buyer. Philip and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful. More importantly, I had been to other Genesis dealerships in the greater Chicago area who were charging well above MSRP; however, that practice does not occur at the Pugi dealership in Downers Grove. Five stars all around.

Your car could end up being there for up to 4 months. When you're told after 2 months that they were told that they could work with you on the price and then the time comes 2 months later you're told they were authorized up to $20. I had to go to the boss's boss and then I was told to say what I thought it was worth and to consider their time. I like them to consider my time. The hours, the gas money and the running around late to work because three people are on one car. I end up having to buy a car so I personally think they should have just charged me for the analyzing of what was wrong which was $89. I end up having to pay $350 plus tax and that was after the boss walked away and said consider it good. They supposedly could not find a part anywhere in the United States and then they show it to me on the computer So I come in with one, and OEM part that they told me I could use even if it was a aftermarket and then they suddenly came into an OEM part at a neighboring dealership. That was after I gave them the part to put on. They give me back my part and they charge me for their part.

Absolutely horrific service, needed a part installed to turn off check engine light. they said they ordered it and would contact me once in, it has been 45 days with multiple follow ups. I finally talked to someone in the parts department and they confirmed nothing had been ordered.Spent the last hour calling trying to get ahold of a service manager, I have been hung up on 6 times. This is ridiculous. Do not recommend going to this dealership.

Terrible service. Walk in and no one to greet or ask if you need something on the genesis side. Hyundai side is better but Genesis side they act like they are selling Bentleys. Need a reality check.

What is the point of offering valet service for Genesis oil change if you can t even schedule an appointment. I called to make an appointment today and they said that they don t take appointments so you can come in and wait. You can schedule an appointment online for August. are you kidding me? What kind of service is this?
