Vance was amazing at helping me find the perfect mower for my 3 acre yard. This Husqvarna TS354XD is a beast of a mower. I can t say enough good things about Bertels. I also purchased a weed eater and lawn cart! Thank you so much for all the help and great service!

I purchased a generac generator from them. They explained how to start it and showed me each step on starting . I'm pleased with the service, price and time they took with me.

This place deserves 10 stars. I'm a Disabled veteran and this place was patient & professional. I HIGHLY recommend this place. I know where I'll be going to get all my out door equipment from this day forward. 100% stellar service. And a huge inventory. Very very knowledgeable.

WOW!!! Where do I start? Customer service went ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty! I wanted to surprise my husband with a brand new deluxe lawn mower. I can't drive so I submitted a request for a quote via an email. And then a question and another question and another question. :) I felt kind of sorry for the gentlemen on the other end who had to deal with me. :) Yet, he was sooooo kind. Then I asked if we could surprise my husband on the day he was graduating from college. The guy said...of course! I was just amazed!! I wanted to make sure he was patted on back for this unbelievable service I was given. So I asked for his supervisor's name. This time "I" was surprised....Vance is the owner! WOW once again... This company is the BEST!!!! My husband was speechless from this entire act of kindness! And that has not happened many times in the past 31 years... :) Thanks so much Vance!! We will be back for sure!!!

u need something 4 lawn care, they got it. If 4some crazy reason they dont have it, they'll get it 4ya. & they have some really good guys n back 2keep what U got n top running shape. I dont & I wont go anywhere else

Vance and his team are absolutely the best around the area. Vance personally came to my shop to pick up a mower that broke down, he found the problem and fixed it right at my shop instead of hauling it in and having to pick it up. If you are in the market for a new mower or service for the mower you already have you have to give Vance and his team a shot. Even if you need a chainsaw, weed eater or blower repaired.

What a great place. Sales and service and friendly staff. Worked on a couple chainsaws for me. Back the next day with sharpened chains and I'm back in service. I will definitely be back!

Purchase my Ferris 72 here. First off, I love the mower! Secondly, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. If you go, you will likely run into Vance. He is extremely knowledgeable and kind. 10/10 would purchase anything from this company.

This is an amazing place! Superior quality products, exceptional customer service and knowledgeable staff. I bought a mower that is an absolute beast and they delivered it the same day! Shout out to Vance who took the time to explain all the controls, answer my questions and give me tips on operating it. This is the ONLY PLACE to buy and service your outdoor equipment!!

Bertels has a lot of items in stock. They have great service and many different types of outdoor equipment. They also service your lawn equipment and machines. If you need your chainsaw chains sharpened, this place does a good and quick job with a friendly atmosphere. They also provide handicap capability.

I am a huge customer service kinda guy and Bertel's is great at it especially Vance. I bought my first zero turn here after buying many hard to find parts for my old Simplcity, and from day one they've been fantastic. I am sure I could have spent a bit less but would have never received the excellent service. Remember you get what you pay for. I highly recommend them for any of you lawn/tractor or parts/maintenance needs

I can't say enough great things about Bertel's Sales and Service. After buying what turned out to be a subpar zero turn mower from a local big box store and subsequently returning it (after it stopped working the first time I used it), I went to the place that had the billboard I passed everyday on my way to work..."Bertel's Sales and Service". I can tell you, the contrast between buying at a big box store and buying from a small, family owned store is beyond night and day. When my new big box mower quit working, the box store said although they delivered it, I was on my own to figure out how to return it (I didn't have a vehicle or trailer). They were unwilling to service or pick it up.Bertel's on the other hand delivered my new Bad Boy 60" zero turn mower within two hours of buying it. When I needed something adjusted on the mower a couple weeks later, without hesitation they picked it up, made the adjustment and then returned it the same day. That little act solidified my respect for them even more. I found Nick to very knowledgeable, personable, professional and genuinely committed to making sure you as the customer are completely satisfied.One of the things I liked the most about my experience was that they don't pressure you into buying anything you don't already want. My mower buying experience taught me a very valuable lesson...buy local and from people you trust. Based on my interactions with Bertel's and with Nick, I trust them and would recommend them without any hesitation.

The guys at Bertel's sales and service are very knowledgeable, friendly, respectful. They had everything I needed to complete a full tune-up of my Ferris mower. Competitively priced; in and out no fuss.

Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous. Get your lawn tractor equipment here and also get it serviced when it gives you trouble. Staff will help with name brands they do not carry in stock but parts may take time to ship if repairs are needed. Specializes in zero turn radius mowers.

I purchased a mower from another dealer who didn't do anything they were supposed to do with the mower when I picked it up. Decided to take it to Bertel's and I'm glad I did. TThey were very helpful with the issues I was having with the mower and ended up having too replace the engine which they handle with my warranty. I would definitely recommend them.

It was my first time going there and they where awsome. My dad is kind of a talker and they didn't rush him through 1 story. That really made him feel good plus the fact that they where fixing his lawn mower, air compressor, tiller and ordering his blades to fix his riding lawn mower. Thank you guys for being so nice and perfectional.

Great service, everyone is helpful. Had an incident with my mower, called Bertel's and they came out, serviced the mower, and had it back to me before the motor had a chance to cool down. be sure to talk to Vance, he is very knowledgeable, and helpful.

Great experience!Found there name on the Bad Boy mower service and repair site. There were several companies to choose in the St Louis area. I made the right choice with Bartels Sales and service. They listened when I went explained issues I was having with the mower and discussed possible expenses that could arise with the service. When I left I felt confident they were on the up and up. They called a week later and discussed the service and options to fill the order. I went with a transmission repair among other things. When I picked up my mower I was in good hands with Vance, he reviewed the service invoice and helped with loading the mower.These guys will get my business in the future.Thank you, Craig

They are a little bit outside of town but they have various parts that you may need to fix a lawn mower their equipment is real good pricey but dependable I have owned a Simplicity before but it had wore out but it was a real good mower and if I could afford it I would have bought another one.

Just had my Craftsman lawn tractor serviced. I am VERY pleased. It came back looking like new and running like a champ. Very good people to deal with. Everyone I talked to was super nice. Thank You Bertel's!

I broke down this morning. Called the office & spoke to a very nice lady. She connected me to the service department & that man was extremely nice. He contacted another & 20 minutes later he shows up & fixed the mower. Free of charge. You will not get better service anywhere I promise you

I first heard about Bertels from my old neighbor when I moved towards Hamel. He always had great experience with them. I've had 3 experiences with them. All 3 have been great. First one, I was looking zero turn mowers. Sales guy gave me a bunch of info. I decided to buy a toro over a ferris just because I have always had excellent experience with toros. 2nd experience I brought a poulan tiller that I bought off Craigslist. I wanted them to do a once over on it. They told me it might be a week. The next day they called and wanted my approval to service a couple things. I picked it up the next day. Today, I took my mower blades in to see if they could be sharpened or buy a new set. Customer service guy could have told me to buy new, but said I could get one more sharpening out of them.If you are complaining about prices of products here, they are comparable to other companies.They also give a 10% discount on products in the service center to military/veterans!

This is by far the Best Lawn and Garden Sales and Service Shop anywhere their Expert Service does not stop after the sale they are with you for the long haul. Give them a call or drop by the store and see for yourself.

Why you buy here & stop shopping elsewhere. Look, almost all commercial mowers are the same thing. They all mow real good, the hardware in all of them is constructed way thicker and sturdier than your box cutter stores so they all last way longer. They all justifiably have a heftier price tag. But if you are investing, do it right and buy the mower that'll be around much longer & perform. So why Bertels , instead of other companies? Ill use example to convince you & validate my decision in just a second. But first, Ive had mine for 5 years and mow about 4 acres. I bought Ferris because of the reputation of their CUSTOMER SERVICE. From the day I first stepped in store, Vance, won my confidence. 5 years later I get to reap the reward of that decision. July 2nd, 2 days before our huge July 4th get together. Days before had rained a lot so grass was looking rough. Finally a dry day, I began to mow. 15 minutes later, I was on the phone calling Vance. He said whats the problem? I was stressing & told him Im about to have a big party and mower is having an issue. His truck pulled up to my house 33 minutes later ( I live 30 minutes exactly away). 10 minutes later he was leaving. 11 minutes later I was mowing and problem resolved. He did not charge me! Vance is the kind of guy that you want when you invest into a company. He stands behind his product. But maybe more than that, he believes in the customer. So shop all you want. Mowers are reasonable the same. But I guarantee you CUSTOMER SERVICE here is better!! And my next mower will come from Bertels.

Great service here with very reasonable prices. Fast and friendly staff. I am happy with the selection as well. Overall, I couldn't think of a way to improve my experience. I will definitely be back!

Love this company and personnel. Great products backed up by the owner and all who work for him. When I called for a concerning a issue with the my new mower the owner come out and fixed the issue!

I brought in my 12 year old Homelite weed eater for seals and fuel lines, which I expected to take a while. I had it back in two days and she runs like a beast. Great job guys!
