After an accident and not familiar with the area, the last thing you want is to have problems with a body shop. Within minutes of beginning my interaction with Slim s-N-Hanks, I knew I was dealing with competent, efficient professionals. I could not have hoped for a better experience. They assisted with everything, including facilitating the cost breakdown and answering any questions I had. The mechanic told me it was his goal to get my vehicles fixed in a timely manner and work with me with the cost. And they did just that. Very appreciative for the work they did for me!!

We hit a deer. About 7k in damage. The people here are amazing, from start to finish, counter to repair crew, they really knew what they were doing. The car looks exactly like the second before it met the deer. Thank you to all who work in this shop, you were amazing after our insurance tried screwing us around.

I would like to thank all the people at Slim-N-Hanks for helping me out in a bad situation with another towing company after they were trying to overcharge my granddaughter for a tow this will be the only towing company I ever use again thanks to all of you

Absolute life savers! Car had a massive oil break on 88, pulled over near an ipass and after about 30 mins, AAA gave up on us because it was a weekend and after 5. Your guy (who had just got off work) came and picked us up and got our car to the shop! x1000 thanks to your driver and your team and Midwest Mechanix for the recommendation to you guys

Thank you Andrew, you were very professional, polite and very understanding of my situation. I appreciated the hard work you done to get the task done, brakes being locked, from my car not being driven in 2 months. I know it was a bit challenging, but you got her done. Thank you to Cory, at Slim & Hanks, for promptly coming to my rescue and towing my car (which died just off of the interstate) to the mechanic on a Friday evening. He arrived quickly and was so calm and reassuring. The price was reasonable. I was back on the road the same night, all fixed! Thank you so much for helping me!

Slim and Hanks is a great place to get a vehicle repaired. Oscar is very helpful. When I had a breakdown on the interstate they were the 1st ones I called. They got me off the highway and was even able to repair my trailer. We have had a couple of vehicles body work repaired here the work was excellent.

I was in desperate need to find someone after going 70 miles an hour versus a raccoon. The damages halted us immediately. Oscar Martinez saved the day and with his expertise direction, my car is back on the road. I recommend his location for anything you need for your car. I used to tow cars for a living and picked up totaled cars from Slim-N-Hanks in the 80's and 90's. Slim and his crew were always friendly and helpful.I recently needed my personal full-size AWD SUV towed to Ken Nelson Auto in Dixon, IL. I used Slim-N-Hanks for the job. Very professional and competitive prices. I will use them again if I ever have the unfortunate breakdown that necessitates my truck to be towed.I highly recommended Slim-N-Hanks!

I was along the side of the interstate with my car broken down. They came and picked up the car and took me to the hotel where I had found a room. They were there quickly and were very friendly. Excellent service, and very affordable. Perfect combination of service and value!

Great staff! My daughter wrecked her car and needed it towed on a Saturday night. Staff gave us time to figure out what we needed to do next and very courteous when we went to get all of her belongings out of the car.

We made an appointment to get my daughter's new car she bought at Majeski motors, to get a huge gash fixed on the driver's side back door. I guess they get a lot of cars to fix from Majeski. It took a week to get it in cuz they were book. So we dropped the car off the following week. On that Monday they were supposed to start fixing the door. We called on Thursday morning to see if it was done. The lady that answered said her car wasn't even there. Then she said, oh, sorry, it's here, but they didn't start it yet. I was so upset... what is going on??? She transferred my call to the manager, Oscar, he said that they DID start to fix her car but it was in line to get painted. So it should be done Friday or the latest, Tuesday. ( cuz of Labor Day) Well, Oscar got it done on Friday! His body shop people did an amazing job! You can't even tell there was a huge deep scratch. Even though there was a couple of problems this place does a great job! I just think they take on more work then they can handle....but I will probably go back for Future work. Thanks a lot Oscar for great work!!

Hit a deer on my way home from work and even tho it was right around Thanksgiving they did a great job and got me back on the road also fixed a couple other things while they had my vehicle, definitely recommend them to my family and friends or anyone in need of car repairs..Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

We bought a car from majeski motors and sent it here to get the hood fixed when we finally got it back 3 weeks later we had not even opened the hood and it blew up while we were going 70mph. We called and told them what happened and they refused to fix the mistake they made and claimed it wasnt their fault. When I talked to the manager he said we could not have been killed or injured and didnt seem to care! Never going there again!

The folks at Slim n' Hanks are friendly, do exactly what they say and my repair actually ended up costing me less than expected. They are great and I highly recommend them.

Andrew came out and worked hard to pull me out of a swamp. Im confident saying any other tow guy wouldnt even have tried. Hes my personal hero and recommend him to everyone

They do a great and thorough job. My car was fixed and clean. They worked with my insurance company and all I had to do was pay my deductible.

They were able to tow my truck within the hour of me stopping to inquire. By the time he got to the house it was raining and he still hauled it for me.
