I had the misfortune of getting a flat tire during a busy day, and the owner, Brian, went above and beyond to save the day. Friendly people. Got me in for an appt quickly. Fair prices. Great work. Owen is a great mechanic! The owner & Owen are both friendly and knowledgeable and seem to fet the work done quickly, but well. Breedlove offers nice hours for someone that works M-F and sometimes doesn't get into town until after 4:30. Always nice to see a friendly, smiling face that knows what they're talking about.

Brian, and Owen are knowledgeable, helpful, fast, efficient, friendly, tactically and technically proficient, and always professional. I trust them with my vehicles. The US Army could sure use a few men like these guys, a real class act.

Professional and Responsive - I ran over a chunk of ice in my Corolla and messed up the exhaust. Brian was great to work with and was able to get me sorted out. As someone new to Dixon I now have my go-to for auto work!EDIT: went back for another issue with another vehicle in august 2021, and had another great experience. After having two "professionals" at businesses I had worked with before look at my van, which was not running due to what I believed was the starter, and being told by both "professionals" that it wasn't the starter and I didn't know what I was talking about - I called Breedlove. They came and towed my van right away, no waiting. I received a call and was told that it started, and immediately thought "great, they are blowing me off too" - Brian asked me exactly what had been going on etc. He called me back later and guess what - it was the starter. They were able to fix it very quickly (it was done a day before the estimated time they told me). It has been running great ever since. Any future problems I have with my automobiles I will definitely be calling Brian and the staff at Breedlove Automotive. Thank you so much!

Don't trust this service.You performed service on my wife's car when we were still engaged, and said it was all under warranty but the motor company said you weren't authorized to do the repairs. Then, knowing that, you failed to make restitutions for the work you did anyway. Argued with her about it and refused to acknowledge that you were in error.

Exceptional service! Car needed tune-up and rear wheel bearing, Breedlove's staff treated my wife and I like people, in that they didn't try to rape us on parts or labor. Same day service, a few hours to be exact. Even if not in surrounding areas, the service you'll receive as well as the money you'll save, is well worth a drive. ANY other repairs needed in future, they have our business! It's crazy they haven't forced Midas or Jiffy Lube to close their doors in Dixon. I'm sure if more people knew of Breedlove's Automotive, it wouldn't take long. Thank you again to Breedlove's staff.

My fianc�e & I were on our way back to Naperville, IL from Omaha & my check engine light started flashing, car started rattling, and it was hard to accelerate. We looked online and chose this shop Bc of its reviews & how close it was to our hotel. I can't brag about the owner Brian enough. Super nice guy, very knowledgeable & honest. He took care of us & got us back on the road for a very reasonable cost. I'm so happy to have found this shop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially for out-of-towners experiencing car issues! Thanks Brian!!

Helped me out when I needed a quick fix. Tire pressure was too low due to the cold weather. Took just a few minutes for them to fill them back up for me and I was on my way. Thank you so much for the help in this very cold weather.

I had the Transmission go out on my 2003 Cadillac CTS. Brian at Breedlove Automotive worked to find me a used transmission to help me save some money. After install I took the car home and then the transmission went out again(Not a knock on the shop, going with a used Transmission is a crap-shoot and they told me so). Brian came and got the car for me and replaced the transmission again at no extra charge to me.This is a class act repair shop, always putting the customer ahead of profit. I highly recommend this shop for any and all diagnostic work and repairs.

Very informative on working on my truck. Gave me updates and hauled my vehicle to and from. Whenever you need a tow or repairs these your guys to get it done

I have learned that my cousin when in a few days back and he quoted her a unreasonable price on her car 1200 to be exact for numerous repairs she did not need she needed the basics fixed and he totally took advantaged of her being a single female with 3 kids then when she put the quote on fb he tried to go on fb and slam her for it and demanded she take the post down what kind of grown man attracts a women on fb she didn t NEED half the work he recommended but only tried to rob her it has been brought to my attention also that some staff are not certified so also how can you charge so much with uncertified mechanics to top it the first she went to get it towed to another resonable mechanic and his staff would not let her pay the storage fee plus quote fee with a debut who carries cash so she also lost out on a tow this man has a careless business and does not care about his customers at all DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL HE WILL ROB YOU AND YOUR FAMILY OR ANY FEMALES HE CAN GET OVER ON HES CRAZY FORNSYALKING PEOPLE ON FB AND HIS MECHANICS ARE NOT CERTIFIED!!!!!!!!
