Never have I had an auto body shop be so kind and helpful. The completed job made my car look brand new. I would give them more than 5 stars if it was an option. The office staff went above and beyond. Definitely would use again if needed. Thank you Probst Auto Shop.

The girls in the office were amazing. They helped each step of the way through the insurance and repair process. Their communication kept me informed at each step. The repairs were done with excellence, and my Jeep returned to me super clean!!! I would recommend Probst Auto Body to anyone needing body work!!!

Our 2023 Outback was rear-ended last October as we were two hours into a trip to North Carolina. Fortunately, none of us were injured, but the car was pretty messed up, but in good enough shape to drive it home. Our mechanic recommended Probst Auto Body, so we called them to see if they could take it in, so we took it directly there. The next 3 months were frustrating as Probst could only go ahead after the insurance company gave the OK. A lot of wasted time, but it helped knowing that Probst were keeping us notified all along the way and we knew that they would do what was necessary to get it done right. Karla, Lindsey, and Matt were always there to answer questions. We finally were able to get the car back in excellent shape after over 3 months. Although they are finished with the repair, it's great to know that they are still helping us finishing up with the insurance company. A big "Thank You" to all of those involved. We will definitely use them again if we ever need body work.

I would highly recommend Probst Auto Body! Very friendly employees and high quality work. I appreciated that they kept me in the loop on the progress my vehicle was making, especially when dealing with insurance. My fixed vehicle was returned to me clean both inside and out!

I am extremely picky when it comes to this car and probst exceeded my expectations with the paint repairs and attention to details. The specific parts I requested for the front they not only found but matched perfectly on the rear. Again blown away with the paint matching. Not to mention the customer service and polite friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can tell they take training seriously there. They have not only gained a customer for life but earned a customer for life. Honestly 5 stars isn t enough.

I hit a deer on driver front side. They did a wonderful job on my car Mario .Carla was able to get me a rental the next day from Decatur. My insurance company said it would be 6 days bf I could get a rental and didn t seem to care that I was a 1 car owner. I couldn t go without a vehicle because I was traveling to Springfield 2x a week.I will recommend Probst Auto Body to everybody!!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I am pretty picky about my "21" Cherokee High Altitude and when a deer took out my grill, hood, and associated furnishings I knew that I wanted an authorized Jeep repair facility to perform the work. A quick search turned up Probst Auto Body, a local repair facility recommended from the corporate website. One call and they pretty much took over the rest of the repair from dispatching a tow, dealing with the insurance companies, and keeping me regularly informed of their progress. Their detailed and professional estimates resulted in no pushbacks from the insurance company. The finished product is exceptional, paint match/finish and body alignment are superb. All of the staff that I dealt with were always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this business and appreciate their fine service.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

After our vehicle was in a wreck, Probst did a wonderful job of repairing it for us! They detailed the inside as well and left it in much better condition than before the wreck. We were most pleased with the communication from the office regarding the timeline and issues with the repairs and insurance. Very pleased with Probst Auto Body in Dietrich, IL! The absolute best auto body shop experience I have had! They are prompt and keep you informed. You never have to wonder what s going on with the process. They go above and beyond to make your experience as easy as possible. You are treated like Family. Karla was wonderful! If I didn t have a call from her, she would email me. She was with me every step of the process. My car had to have a lot of work due to an accident caused by another party. The other parties insurance was awful. I had one bad run in after another. Karla was so helpful and eased a lot of my stress. Everything was done as efficiently and quickly as possible. My car looks fantastic and I have had no issues with it since having it back. They also offer a 100% lifetime guarantee on service/parts. I will never go anywhere else! Thank you guys so much!

Probst Auto Body is THE way to go! My son had a run-in with a deer and lost. From the first phone call till we picked up the car, Probst went above and beyond to answer all my questions, kept in touch throughout the process, and made his car like new again! They had a quick pick-up and work was completed ahead of schedule too! I've used another body shop before but Probst was by far the best experience and service. It's difficult to express how impressed I am with Probst Auto Body. For quite some time I had procrastinated about getting the front of my VW Beetle repaired from the result of tangling with an overgrown possum. I was simply dreading the hassle of estimates, dealing with the insurance company, and having to rent a car. Enter Karla Slifer. I filed the initial claim online which was a pretty simple process but I was expecting having to make several phone calls or emails. Nope. Karla handled everything. Probst had a very nice van right there that I was able to rent (at a very reasonable price) so no hassle about a rental car. Karla called me once to update me on the claim and a few days later I got a call saying my car was done. And it was PERFECT! Thank you Karla for making this such a great experience. And thank you Probst Auto Body for making my little VW Bug beautiful again!

Office help was awesome and body techs did a fantastic job on repairs! Paint looks like a sheet of glass and they even detailed my truck inside and out!Cycle time was amazingly quick. My husband and I had the BEST experience with Probst Auto Body! We had our van repaired recently, and the staff and service were amazing! We were so grateful for the loaner car as our van was being fixed. The staff kept us updated on repairs throughout the whole experience. When we picked up our van they had cleaned it out and it looked amazing. Above and beyond what we expected! Thank you all!

Probst Auto Body did incredible work to ensure my vehicle was repaired after we were involved in an accident. Mark and Karla went above and beyond their duties and far exceeded my expectations to make sure my truck was repaired and kept me informed throughout the process. Mark and the team at Probst Auto Body do great work! I was updated several times about the progress of my car and given a courtesy loaner car while mine was getting fixed. We have used Probst Auto Body since Mark was in his original shop and this is always our choice. It has been a few years since needing anything but when you talk to Karla it's like you just talked to her yesterday. Huge thanks to Probst Auto Body for making the best possible experience of my deer hit. My car looks better than I've EVER seen it--both inside and out. They went above and beyond, treating the customer like their own family/friends. I received frequent updates on the status of the repair, nice tokens of appreciation for being a customer (free detail and free shirt). My car was also done a full 5 days before their original projection. Great, upstanding people to do business with.

We took our truck to Probst Auto Body after being rear-ended. They were wonderful to work with. They handled everything with the insurance company, had a loner car for us, and our truck looks perfect. We were very happy and would recommend them to anyone!

I was involved in an accident & the person at fault never turned it into their insurance. When I went to Probst for an estimate they were able to get in contact with the insurance company who was responsible for paying the claim & got the ball rolling. Even when this insurance company was a pain to deal with, Probst went above & beyond to repair my truck & get it back to me. Probst did a great job on repairing my Mini! They had great communication on when my vehicle would be done! Best of all, they support Adam Mette, who is currently deployed with the National Guard! I would recommend Probst hands down!!! Karla (?) even stayed a little late so I could pick up my car when it was convenient for me. Hopefully, I don t have to, but I would choose Probst again for any repairs needed in the future, and you will be thankful if you do too!!

Probst Auto Body is the best! They did a great job at repairing my Ford Escape! I can t even tell it has been hit! I was very impressed with their communication; as they kept me updated on my vehicle every day. I highly recommend!!

Fast-Friendly-ProfessionalI had some cosmetic painting done to my 07 Avalanche. I went in for an estimate and they got me in the shop within a day or two. The turnaround time was fantastic! Quality work done at a reasonable price. They even threw in a complimentary detail -- Much needed on the dusty country road of Bishop Creek!! Highly Recommend to anyone needing Auto Body Repair.

Mark Probst is my brother-in-law. That being said, he is the most professional car guy that I know. They do a great job and leave my car as clean as a whistle. Karla up front always keeps me updated without making me feel like an dummy. Thanks for a painless experience.
