A thief! Took money and never did repairs.Have receipts to prove I PIF. Refusing to refundUpdate:7/2023...I took Ruben to court and the judge sited in my favor in January of 2023. Ruben has been court ordered to repay me $900. This is for the cost of two windows I had to replace since he was in fault for installing faulty windows. It is now July, and Ruben has yet to pay me. Like I said, he is unable to take responsibility, and can't even follow a court order follow a court order.But, hey! If he want s a judgement and lien on his credit for 10- years for $900, so be it.By the way, Donna Villareal, is his wife. She posted "great work by Ruben." And Google has yet to take that down, as it shows bias since she is part owner of the company and his wife.I highly recommend if he has screwed any of you, take him to court!

If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT USE THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY! My friend had to to take him to court to get him to either complete the job of installing her windows or give her the money back. The windows were ordered 2 years ago in 2020. She went to court and, long story short, he was ordered to install the windows by X date. He did not. Back to court to hold him in contempt. Judge gave him another date. He was a no show for that date, which HE personally chose as the install date. Back to court. Then his lawyer defames my friend's character saying she refused to let him on the property to do the job. Flat out lie. I was there the whole day with her- Ruben never showed, never contacted her for the entire day! Back to court. Finally he shows up the next weekend. The installers told us they were never given the previous week's date as an install project. So another lie. One window had an imperfection, and now he doesn't want to replace it. He and his wife, or as he calls her "the woman in the office" tell my friend it's her responsiblity to deal with the manufacturer. Back to court. Mind you, absolutely NO paperwork was given with these windows. No copy of the order, no invoice, no manufacturer's warranty, nothing. He claims it was given, but again, I was there, and can corroborate this did not happen. So now he wants to make it the customer's responsiblity to acquire the paperwork he should have provided, and deal with a warranty that quite possibly is out of date due to his laziness of leaving the windows sitting in his warehouse for 2 years. Ruben and his office staff are a lying, cheating, deceptive business. What is worse is that when I asked any direct questions, he refused to answer me, and he has shown absolutely NO REMORSE for any of this. DO NOT USE THIS MAN OR HIS BUSINESS! If he owes you anything, please report him to the Illnois Attorney General's office, BBB, and any other establishments. Take him to court and put a lein against his company so no one else has to deal with him and his egregious business practices. I can't say enough negative things about him. Beyond despicable! And Donna Villareal, who left a positive review, is related to Ruben, and therefore, has a conflict of interest and should not be leaving a review.UPDATE as of July 2023: My friend won her court battle in January 2023 with Ruben, and he was ordered to pay her $900 to replace the 2 windows he damaged while installing them. So it's 7 months later, and he still has not paid her a penny.

Ruben is by far the biggest con artist I have ever met in my life! He's good at taking your down payment and skipping town. Do NOT ever do business with him , you will regret it!

Ruben has been my handyman for the past 30years. He is honest & the service, products & price can't be beat. QUALITY WORK!!! Thank you for fast, prompt service. Excellent work/customer service ethics. He is helpful & patient. His crew are hard working & careful. Ruben treats you like family.

Charged card twice over 3k all together he took and no services rendered , avoids calls does not return msgs . Lied to card company saying work was completed when charges were disputed . And this is how he treats customers for over 20 yrs . Do yourself a favor find someone else and don t ever give him your card info ! Still waiting over 7 months for a furnace to be installed but it s paid for twice now ! Thanks Ruben

Terrific business man. Got paid from the insurance company. Painted half of my mobile home. Didn t put poles underneath the roof and Owen. Said he would be back. Still waiting after two years. Never use him again
