Recently, I brought my precious 2012 Honda Accord Coupe to Pat and Chuck's when its timing chain broke. When you have an older car and a serious repair is needed, you always ask yourself if it's time to move on. My car has over 150k miles on it. Long story short, I went ahead with the repair and now it's driving like a dream. I can't say how much I appreciate having this kind of service available nearby.I've also used Pat And Chucks a few times over the years to examine cars I was considering buying. Their advice has been solid, and on two occasions they pointed out serious issues which made me not proceed with buying the car. The fee I paid for those inspections has been returned many times over.

Pat and Chuck's was recommended to me by my neighbor. It was a short wait for the part needed (I needed a new windshield washer pump). Everyone I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to bring the car in and have the part installed while I waited. Great service done in a timely way. My new go to mechanic.

Great the only shop around that was willing to take me and fix my 84 Monte Carlo. Ron was a pleasure and know his cars new and old school. He a great mechanic and now my only mechanic thanks ron

Had a flat tire a few blocks away. Great and quick service with better pricing than expected. Ended up bringing my wifes car for a battery and headlight.. same outstanding service!

Ron was professional and very knowledgeable. My husband's car heat shield was rattling and we had Pat and Chuck's Auto Repair fix it as well as an oil change. I called to make an appointment and was told it was busy that day but come in the next. We did and within a couple hours we were able to pick it up. Thank you for a quick fix! Third time we've used P and C's and always pleased with the outcome!Service: Oil change

I absolutely LOVE Pat and Chucks! I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. My family has been taking there Cars there for 20 years. Chuck the owner is so friendly, and very fair with his pricing. I really appreciate all of the hard work and special care that him and his crew put into my car. First visit and repairs at Pat and Chucks was about 25-30 YEARS AGO! Just had my brakes done yesterday, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PRICE AND HONEST! He (Chuck) even fixed a rattle from my muffler and didn t charge me for it! Highly recommend!!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Check Engine light came on in our sons car when he was home from college. Chuck and the team were very responsive and were able to fix the problem promptly. I drive a 1985 Chevy Silverado C10. While on a road trip from Kansas to Ohio my truck developed starter problems. Chuck and his guys were able to get me in and get the job done (new starter) saving me from having to stay in Chicago for the weekend. Excellent job. Very thankful for the good work.

Pat and Chucks give great service. Checking the little things in repairs that make engine repairs long lasting and care free. I couldn't be happier with a 1995 Caddy that needed help and its running like a top now.Sincerely recommend them. Had a steering noise start up on my way to a client not far from Pat & Chuck's. Although they were full up for the day, Chuck and his crew were able to get my car in and replace both outer tie rod ends before it was time for me to drive home.Great place to take your car and will definitely take mine there again if I'm in the area and need work done.

Great experience with this business! After 34 hours in airports and planes, my daughter and I returned to the long term parking at O'hare to a vehicle with the "low coolant" light on and no idea where to go. Found Pat and Chuck's with a quick search, filled the coolant tank with drinking water and hoped to get there without ruining the engine. Upon arrival, saw a parking lot full of vehicles. We walked in 2 hours before closing and hoped to get repaired quickly in order to drive to Minneapolis to meet my new born granddaughter. Chuck told us that he was booked full, as that parking lot was filled with cars needing repair. He did say he would take a look at it though and let us know what needed to be done, after finishing the vehicle he was working on. After looking at the vehicle, discovered the broken part and went to work in finding a replacement. My vehicle is a BMW X5, so finding the part took a search of a number of places but he found the part and told us he could work us in when the part came in the next day. Fortunately for us, there was a hotel right across the street. With Chuck's recommendation we were able to get a discount for our stay. The vehicle was fixed the next day as promised! The repair cost was also surprisingly reasonable, as it would have been so easy to take advantage of us in our situation! I offer my highest recommendation for Pat and Chuck's for any auto service needs, and only wish they lived closer to Green Bay, Wisconsin so I could take my vehicle there whenever necessary!

What a great experience! When my daughter's car broke down on a trip from MN to chicago, they thoroughly took care of her and made sure she could get home safely. They called me and kept me updated and made sure I didn't spend money to fly her home since they were able to fix her car that day. Awesome shop and really took care of us at an extremely reasonable price. Thank you!

I always take my car to Pat and Chuck's. They are honest and their pricing is fair.I have referred many of my friends to Pat and Chuck's and they have said nothing but wonderful things on the way they were treated. To me they are among the best. I have always been pleased with the service I receive from Pat and Chuck's and would highly recommend them.

I called last week and asked if I could bring my car by to have new spark plugs installed and they said it would be no problem. I came by this morning and was told they do not install customers parts. Great waste of time.Edit: lowered to one star for wasting more of my time

Fantastic service from Chuck himself. We found ourselves stranded on the highway traveling home and Chuck came to our rescue. Not only did he secure a tow truck for us, but even stayed late to work on our vehicle so we could get back on the road. Personnel were polite and professional. I would highly recommend this business to anyone in the area.

Flew in to O Hare yesterday and when we reached our vehicle noticed a flat tire on my vehicle. Had a long drive to get home after vacation so we put on the spare and called Chuck, after looking for a close by repair shop. He was super helpful/friendly and said to come over and he d take a look. I pulled in and he fixed my tire and got us on our way in about 12 minutes. SUPER APPRECIATIVE for a helpful mechanic when in an unfamiliar city

I have taken our cars to Pat & Chucks many times over the years and have had a positive experience EVERY time. Even if it was bad news about my car, it was handled kindly and professonially, and priced fairly; which is really all you can ask for in these situations. I especially enjoy the fact that I have never felt like I was being talked down to, and as a woman I very much appreciate that.

Although I live in Chicago, I go out of my way to bring my van to Pat & Chuck's.I have been extremely pleased with their service whether it is for minor or major repair work. I highly recommend them and find them to be fair with pricing and skilled with diagnosing issues and completing the work in a timely manner. I trust them to get the job done right the first time.

Both the customer service and vehicle service was exceptional. I was in a bit of a bind up the street when my tire got flat. Not only did Rod find the problem and repair the tire, he also came and put on my spare so I could get the car to the shop...saving me $100 on towing charges and their charges were reasonable for all the work. Highly recommended from an off the street walk-in.
