incredibly awesome experience at D.P. O'Reilly's today. Top Notch service. My son's Jeep wouldn't start when we came out of Jewel. Josif was so helpful and knowledgeable and friendly, far exceeded expectations, an absolute ray of sunshine in the rain! We made it home before the ice cream melted. O'Reilly's has won my loyalty for sure :)

I visited this store March '23. Tony at the desk was very helpful and patient. I needed help changing a headlight bulb before I could drive the highway at night. He replaced the bulb, talking through how he did so in the process. Thanks again, if you see this.

Went there to get my car filled up with more AC fluids. A gentleman by the name of Josef even help me fill it up correctly on the spot. Great customer service.

I was trying to buy a torx/screwdriver set. Price clearly says 10.99 but cashier rings it up 15.99 and is blaming the fact prices are changing and they can t change the prices fast enough on the shelves. Even though there are two employees just sitting around and doing nothing. Hank did try to give me $2 off but are they trying to scam me? Every other store would sell me the item for the listed price. It s not my fault you don t want to get up and do your job.

I placed my order for windshield wipers online. The website indicated my parts were in stock and would be ready I about an hour. This was 1:30 pm and I didn't get off work, so sounded good. I phoned and spoke to Giannotti, who turned out to be the manager. He assured me that he or Hank would install my wiper blades (I've bungled it before and wanted to be sure). When I arrived at the shop, Hank was the only person there and told me he couldn't leave the shop to install my wiper blades. AND despite my online order, they DIDN'T have them in stock. I wasted a trip, more than half an hour of time, left WITHOUT my new wiper blades, and had to drive 40 minutes home with poor visibility. I gave this review 2 stars instead of one because Hank really tried hard to find the wiper blades and figured out the user-unfriendly website to cancel my order and refund my money. Going elsewhere from now on.

My car started keeping charge for 10 hours and then I need a jump. Mechanic told me that my battery was dead. It was still under warranty. When I brought the battery to this store, they "tested" it and stated that was good and there weren't any issues.I asked where else I could go to have it tested to prove to them there was an issue with the battery.Then the manager, Dan, told me that they were the only ones in the world who could test it, because they had a machine that cost $50k. (He was trying to make me look like a fool.)They refused to replace the battery and I had to go to another store in another town. There they tested it again and replaced it with a new one. My car doesn't have any problems anymore.

This review is long overdue! Been coming here for the past 8 years and this is hands down the best auto parts store in Des Plaines. Everyone who works there is super knowledgeable and friendly, they always help me out and go above and beyond!!! Great service and friendly folks. This is the only auto parts store Des Plaines needs!!!

My rear brake lights where Roberto was so nice to not only pick up the balls for me but even installed it for me! Doesn t know much about cars so I appreciate this so much!!! He did the whole job under 10 minutes and took care of me in the cashier line too. Thank you Roberto!!! O Reillys need more employees like him who are willing to go that extra mile and provide an excellent customer service to help their customers!

OMG...the amazing customer service I received was unbelievable!! They hooked me up w/ what I needed and even provided a little discount. As a single woman who doesn't know much about cars, I appreciated that they were so knowledgeable, patient and customer-oriented. Thanks so much for everything!!

Great place, and great employees.I show up 10 min before closing, had to jump my vehicle just to get there. They testedmy batteries, warrantied them, and even loaned me a personal set of tools to replace them.I cant thank you enough!

I been dealing with them for about 7-8 and the new manager Jose is the worst guy he wouldn t warranty my battery because supposedly to him it s good when I have to keep jump start the battery every time it s below 40 degrees. Don t make the mistake I did better off going to the dealer for my batteries

One of the best Auto Parts stores around. Employees are very knowledgeable about vehicles and whenever a part I call about isn't available they order from their warehouse in Arlington Heights and normally it arrives the same day. Cheaper then all the other parts stores in the area.

Great place to buy parts for your needs. Great selection and price. Very clean inside store. Store employees are knowledgeable about what they sell. If a part is not in stock, it can be ordered very quickly.

I am a frequent visitor to the Lee Street store. Even when they don't have the part I need they will get me to an O'Reily location that does. They are often busy but both over the phone and in the store their customer service has been better than their competitors. I appreciate the guys at Lee Street location. They have saved me from disaster on multiple occasions.

I called the Lee St. Store and Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable on the products I needed. And gave me accurate quotes for my 1996 Chevy suburban front breaks and rotors. Because of his service I will definitely come back .

Amazing customer service above and beyong Rob was very helpful i visited lee auto parts,Napa, auto zone and they all had to order my starter. Rob brought 4 different starters and then we looked up the part number on the starter itself 3510M Rob found brought to the counter we compared the part and at the end we even discover that auto zone had the part in store. The only difference is that the associate did not take the time to look for a part# like Rob did. I would recomend this place to anyone try them first before you try anyone else...you never know they might have it in stock and saves you the hassle of going to different places.

Have been buying oil by the cases and filters for ten years or more! Always bring back old drain oil with no problems! Now!!! They will not take back my drain oil because thier tank is full and do not know when it will be empty! Get this; now they want all drain oil put back in old open used oil cans to bring back to store. There is know wayto keep the oil from spilling all over my three cars!!! Will never go there again!!!

I dont usually change a review, but this is needing to be mentioned; it's ironic they have a sign before you enter about all patrons s must wear masks before entering, but then upon entering I see Not one si gle employee is wearing a mask at all. Just a bit hypocritical you think.Mask or no mask I am vaccinated so it really doesnt matter to me, but stop with the hypocrisy.
