I will never go back . Charged over 500.00 for a key fob, after I told him that might be the problem, but I had already left the car there. He hadn't even started on the car. I should have just went and got it before he opened in the morning. Maybe a good mechanic, but not very ethical.

Brian and the guys at Hellstrom are top notch. Our family has been bringing our cars to them for years with no problems. Very fair and informative about the repairs. Never upsells just does what s best for your vehicle. I've been bringing my cars here to 3 generations in the family business. Very honest and fair. Especially ethical with single women customers. Always ready to explain things to me and work with me on fitting me in to their schedule. Well trained on cars and getting them to work right. Very trustworthy. Pricing is fair - they don't cut corners.

Great service. I took my truck to many other service centers for a alignment but they could get it right. By far the best car service center in Des Plaines . Don't let the size of this service center fool you. Make the call to them if your having any problem with your car ask for Brian.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I have gone to Hellstrom for many years and I have never once been treated rudely, felt like I was being taken advantage of, or been given anything but the truth about my vehicle repair needs. The staff works hard to ensure the best possible outcome for me and my family's vehicled.

Hellsrtom worked on my F150. Replacing upper arm, lower ball joint, sway bar link, cv shift, they claim to have done the alignment! A little after my passenger side tire started losing tread. I brought it in and they said it wasn't their fault. Brought it to another mechanic and confirmed that they are lying to me. So I had to get 2 new tires and of course wheel alignment.. I will never Trust a thing Brian the owner says. Crooks. Repeat.Service: Wheel alignment

My family has been bringing their cars here for years. The owner has always been fair and honest. They are great at getting the car in fast and returning it to you quickly. The prices are decent too.
