I had a great experience here. I was kept up to date on everything and the shop handled additional fees with my insurance without me having to do much. They also have a good relationship with the nearby Enterprise Rental location which helped a lot when figuring out a temp vehicle. I would recommend to a friend and will be coming back for any future repairs.

Great service, efficient and professional work. Great communication by staff updating me on progress of my vehicle repair. Great result/Like-new repair to my vehicle. The shop worked directly with the insurance claim from the other driver at-fault. Overall trustworthy and professional service, would highly recommend!

I don t ever write reviews but I had to for Derek s! I got into my first accident and I had zero knowledge about insurance claims. Mike was SO helpful, knowledgeable, and reliable. Mike consistently kept me updated and the work that was done was flawless. Mike even took my car in days before they could actually begin the work just to keep it protected from the outside elements. A+ for customer service. I will be recommending this shop for all my friends and family, Derek s will not disappoint you!!!

Such a great and efficient shop. Very family based yet professional and honest. They go the extra mile and will not let your car leave their shop in a bad way whatsoever. EXCELLENT service!! I took my car to a competitor to get a quote that was very, very high. I found Dereks on Yelp and am so happy that I did. Mike was VERY helpful. He explained all of my options. One of the best shop s in town! Dropped one of my vehicles off for some paint along with new body parts. I am very satisfied with the work they do and the material they use. The car looks alot better then when i picked it up from the dealer. They finished my vehicle in a timely matter. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. I had some gorilla glue drip onto my driver's side door while trying to repair a slight crack in the plastic of the side view mirror. I could not get it off so I took the to Derek's Auto Body. Mike took the time to take a look at it, had his team try to buff it out but it had penetrated the clear coat and was not budging. The door needed to be repainted....I made an appointment, dropped the car off on Thursday and was told it would be ready for pick up on Tuesday. As it turned out it was ready on Monday, a day early. Mike was easy to work with and the door looks perfect. I am very satisfied with their service and customer care. Lesson learned, don't use gorilla glue new your car. It will not come off.Service: Painting

Like some of the other reviews, I found Dereks from the Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. I went to 2 others for a quote but wasn't convinced. I hope my car never needs more bodywork from some accident, but I know where to take it if it ever does. I will recommend Dereks to my friends and family.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Derek, Mike and crew did an expert job on my scratched and dented Honda Civic for a reasonable price. Mike took a look at my car and quickly gave me a detailed, accurate estimate. The shop is only 5 minutes away, which is a nice bonus, and the job was finished on time. The attention to detail and respect for the customer at Derek s Auto is second to none, and my used car looks like new. They went above and beyond expectations. Wish I could give 6 stars!

I can t say enough good things about Darek and his staff. He is a very good and trustworthy mechanic. I can trust him fully with any job when it comes to repairing my car. He knows how to solve problems quickly and he is very honest and transparent when dealing with and solving tricky problems. You can tell he has strong problem solving and technical skills as he can get right down to the bottom of many problems. As well as getting the job down fast and easy, he is very reasonable with pricing. I ve been here more than a few times and I wouldn t choose any other mechanic. Highly recommend!

I have been to many different body shops, and let tell you this is by far the best body shop I have been too. Derek and his son Mike, along with their whole team took great care of my car. They provided such outstanding service. Kind, friendly, highly trusted, respectful, and knowledgeable shop in the Chicagoland area.

6 stars. I had a dent and scratch mark and now I don t. Just like that my car looks like new again. Incredibly professional, reasonably priced and had my car done on time. Hopefully I never have to use Dereks again, but if I do I m confident my car is in good hands.

I've used this shop for several of our vehicles that have needed a face-lift for one reason or another. Their work is excellent, they are very customer-oriented, they finish the job when they promise and their prices are reasonable. No reason to go anywhere else. By the way, they are right next to the best hamburger place in Chicago (Paradise Pup)!

I recommend this company. I was very satisfied, they fixed the back door in my Transit 250 and were flexible to my schedule. With accordance to our agreement, they have completed that what we have agreed upon in a timely manner.

Great customer service my car was actually repaired within three days and I look like new again when I took it to the dealership for oil change they told me whoever did this car did a great job so now I will definitely send my friends to Derek s auto body
