Took my 1996 mustang gt in for an alignment because i had done some work on my own on the front end suspension (ball joints, end links, sway bar bushings shocks and a new sway bar) and im very choosy with shops and my father had mentioned this place to me(he has been taking his cars here for a long time) and i took it in very very fair price for a alignment . Also talked to the owner while my car was being worked on and he's a pretty funny guy and i would bring my car back here if i needed to . Also he had mentioned that he has owned this place for 40 + years and you don't make it this long in the automotive business by screwing people. Also i recommend making a appointment in advance.Service: Wheel alignment

I only go here when my car acts up, to put it in perspective, I recently moved about an hour west of the shop and dropped my car off today to have them look at it. Mike and his mechanics are great & trustworthy people. I have never felt like I was scammed into replacing things that don't need to be replaced. I highly recommend using Midwest Automotive when you're having car troubles.

I do not recommend Midwest Automotive to anyone.I left my car there to get an estimate for a suspension repair and I was promised it will be ready in 2.5 hours. When I come back in 2.5h , my car was sitting in the same place in a parking lot and I was told nobody had time to take a look at my car.When I was leaving, I expressed my frustration by saying "thanks for wasting my time", a guy behind a counter replied "I enjoyed every minute of it".It this a business you want to take your car to, please think twice before you decide.

I'm really selective about who I take my cars to since I mostly do the work myself, but I'll definitely be a repeat for the jobs I don't want to bother with myself.Not sure what the fuss is about in the other reviews, Mike is a nice guy with a good sense of humor. Mike and the guys took care of our vehicles for 20 years before we moved away. They are honest and do good work. We even purchased a vehicle from them and the process was simple. Recommended.

I took my car to Midwest the last week of July for transmission issues. I told them that I was going to be on vacation from the 2nd to 10th of August. I called the week of 11th and several times after for weeks and the majority of the time, I was told 'it will be done tomorrow'. Every time I would call, they would tell me pretty much the same answer. They told me they got the transmission done and the timing chain was bad but the final bill didn't mention anything of the timing chain. It just indicated the fly wheel needed to be replaced. Regardless of the additional issue, most repair shops will call to give an estimate to do additional repairs and request permission to continue, which resulted in a costly repair bill that I didn't know what the amount was going to be. It was almost double of what was told initially when I called for a ballpark price. The initial ball park price was reasonable because the engine would need pulled out because it is a front wheel drive car. I finally was able to pick up my car September 7th. It took over a month to get it complete, which is totally unacceptable for a transmission shop. I was going to report Midwest to the BBB but the final bill amount was for less that we paid to Midwest. When calling, most people were very rude on the phone. I don't really understand how a business can be so rude on the phone to customers. ( I only selected one star to be able to post this, I don't want to give ANY stars)

Came for quick service oil, filter sensor replacement and they broke my truck completely.Truck could not start at all.They took 2 days jumping up and down trying to fix it with no luck.Then Mike asked for money for those two days that he was trying to fix what he broke in first place.Shameless.Then he kicked me out and said if I don't pay him he will tow my truck out of the shop.Someone has to teach this guy a lesson, I will.See you in court!!!

Nasty customer service. An incompetent mechanic who refused to do an alignment job because he claimed my regular mechanic installed the rack-and-pinion "upside down". When I called to question how that could be, he simply yelled at me on the phone and hung up. Turned out it wasn't installed "upside down" but backward. Had these people had more patience with me, they'd have had my business. Don't go here, they don't really care about you. Rude and arrogant.

Is there a guy named Allen that allegedly works there? Our Ford Explorer was towed to your address over a month ago. Nothing but excuses from this Allen as to why we don t have our vehicle back. Is he using our vehicle for his own personal use? It s beyond ridiculous now. I m about to report our car stolen by Allen. Your company will be out of business by the time I get done blasting my experience all over social media.

Went in for a simple alignment, told me they couldn't align it without replacing the entire front suspension. I did the work myself, brought back the car, then told me I needed a new wheel bearing... The wheel bearing is adjustable and did't need a new one... These guys will jerk you around, telling you that you need unnecessary parts while they charge you an arm and a leg. ***SCAMMERS***

Mike has always taken good care of me. When ever I need to service my truck I bring it to him. He gets things done fast and is good on price!

Get my car serviced here all the time. Whether it's an oil change, tire rotation, or something major. Mike and the boys handle it knowledgeably and professionally. Never a bad experience.

Midwest Automotive is fair, honest, reasonable and quick. Can't ask for anything more from that. You feel confident the moment you walk in. Highly recommend them

Do not use this place if you still like your vehicle.Owner or whoever he is Mike, total As..... broke my car and want to charge me $700 for that.Also i have to call mobile mechanics from other services to fix problem on his parking lot.

I would not recommend Midwest automotive to anybody.The guy behind the counter Mike was very mean and rude, that is not the way to treat your customers like that.

I do not recommend this place! Always it takes hours, and hours for them to take a look at your car or try to fix it. Very careless customer service!

Easy to get appointment, pickup/dropoff facility, decent price and no haggling or unnecessary marketing or pushing for repairs u don't need.Helpful?

Was looking for my first Car I got a ford from these guys I was told it was in great condition & was a great running truck from what I saw it was I was wrong I had it for a year with in the year I had to blow 7000 dollars in repairs due to the bs information I got from these guys I wouldn't recommend going to these guys for anything they will rip you off & steal your money thanks for nothing guys
