I had problems with my transmission particularly with dual mass flywheel,Chris fixed it in one day everything was perfect.One day I had to do oil change,and Chris was on vacation so I had to go to Jiffy lube and the guy there sad I wish every car was like this because under the hood there is no rust am now on 285.000 miles and going up.My car is a diesel Jetta 2006 TDI and engine was a little bit noisy he fixed everything ,serpentine belt,engine mount,A/C.I've hit deer 2 times and both times he fixed the car it was like brand new,I will post pictures.My recommendations !!!

Overall a really genuine mechanic. I went to Firestone and Katts before coming here and they did not explain nor try a few things before trying to just replace everything and charge me. The mechanic here tried to actually find the issue with the AC to repare/replace the correct items rather than just replace the whole thing just bc it's "faster" for them (bc it's also more expensive). I appreciate how they work here even if it's a little longer time.

Working with Chris over the past few years on my Acura and BMW have truly been the best mechanic relationship I ve ever had. For the short time knowing Chris the mechanic, He does excellent work. He's worked on a few cars of mine and everything he's done has been great work. He definitely makes sure that the customer feels welcomed and that the cars serviced by him gives him a very good reputation, what can I say the man knows his stuff. I definitely recommend him.

Chris is awesome. I first worked with him earlier in the year with my brakes. I was trying to change them myself to save some money. But all of the nuts and bolts were seized and rusted over. So I brought my truck into Chris, that day. Luckily he had some availability and was able to bring it in to complete the job. I quizzed him on some of the things I knew about servicing brakes and he knew his stuff. Sure enough he sandblasted the rust off, greased, lubricated and got everything running like brand new. Most places just throw things back in there without doing a thorough job, but not Chris, he made sure everything was good as new and took of all the little steps in between. The job still ended up being significantly less than it would have been a the dealer.I ended up coming back this summer to get my AC recharged. Again, this was another situation where I tried doing it myself, and ended up causing more problems than repairs. Again he offered a fair price and was able to get it done in a quick amount of time. The AC is so cold now, I think I need a jacket when I am in there.

I have known C and H auto repair and Chris for about fourteen years and for those years I have brought multiple cars to Chris for repair and he has been exceptional. Chris is, simply put, THE BEST mechanic ever that I know. He is good with time, reasonable in price and very professional in his work. I have referred friends and family to C and H auto repair and are all pleased with Chris and his professionalism.

Chris is great. I've been in a few times for him to deal with some issues with my 10+ year old car. He clearly explains what was wrong and what he's done to fix it, and at a great price too. Really goes above and beyond, including being available at some odd hours and even cleaning up my car.I mean, what mechanic does that? I know where I'm going the next time I have an issue with my car - C&H.

I've been going to Chris at C & H Auto repair for a little over a year now and he keeps my car on the road, reliably so. My 2005 Prius is in great repair and reliability thanks to Chris. I'm happy with the service at C & H Auto and will continue to have them take care of all my automotive needs. Thanks for being a great reliable shop C & H.

I have been coming to this shop over 5 years now and I must say, if you want a mechanic who is very thorough and does the job right the first time every time, Chris is your guy. Last year my 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer broke a timing belt, which is another way of saying I needed a new engine. Not only in his words " No Problem " but watching him as he did the install, I had to take pictures as I never saw such detailed work before. A week later, my brother came from Florida and witnessed me starting the car with the new engine for the first time, and he was so impressed he said if he was living nearer he would send his own car north for Chris to work on. I highly recommend C and H Auto Repair for any small or major work needed on your car , truck , or SUV, you will not regret it. By the way, I also own a 2004 Volvo S 60 , and both cars are purring properly thanks to Chris.

Chris is one of the best mechanics i met by far, he s very thorough with his work and gets the job done in a timely manner. I will be moving to the north side of Chicago in the next couple weeks which is 30 minutes away and there is no doubt that i will be continuing to only allow Chris to service my car.

I took my car to 2 other mechanics and they kept giving me lies about my car issues. Chris, from C and H knows he's talking about as well as being truthful and honest. The price is very economical and you will enjoy working with him.

Phenomenal mechanic! I found him to be reasonably priced and highly knowledgeable! I would highly recommend him and plan to use him again!I casually mentioned that my visor and radio were broken and that at some point I would like an inexpensive replacement. Weeks later I received a call informing me that he located those parts! A+ for the follow-through!

3 mechanics couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car. Chris brought back life to it. I cannot thank him enough. He explained what was wrong with the car, next thing you know I have my lifeline and car back all thanks to Chris. The reviews seem sketchy, the guy doesn t know much about mechanic, he tried to charge me a lot for something he wasn t sure would fix car, like every other shop does
