Went in for a spark plug for a snowblower,the employee and the Manger both didn't now wanna even try to cross refeance the number to see if another store or warehouse had the item in stock,as someone who had helped set up and open this location back in 2005 and worked for 3 years at this store this is very disappointing I understand the pay rate is very low but this is unbelivable bad.

Didn't have my choice of price for a tire inflator, but the staff was sort of helpful.Update per company request: She was nice, but I needed extra assistance. Giving 110% to the customer is 90% of customer satisfaction. While I searched, staff clustered into a group behind the counter, when they should be separated, helping customers that were in the aislesPricing/marketing is too lengthy to discuss here . I was a store mgr with Keystone auto parts in California, and highly experienced in all aspects of marketing and customer service. You would need to hire me to greatly improve your ledger with my quaranteed, successful sales strategies.Store navigation wrong. Eliminate clutter from in front of the register and widen the aisles. Clear your product from the center of the store, to up against the walls, so that when the customer enters the FRONT of the store, they should see bright department signs and flashy product labels in the BACK of the store to draw them there. Research Pep-Boys store layout. Best one ever.I'll give you one marketing tip: move fast and most-selling items to the FRONT of the store and digress that rate to the BACK of the store. That opposite marketing ploy of forcing the customer to go to the back to make a purchase doesn't work in parts houses. You're not a 'shopping' store, you're a parts supply store. Mechanics aren't shopping and are in a hurry. You piss them off by making them walk all the way to the back of the store for a can of oil. They remember that unpleasantness over the convenience of grab-and-go when choosing a store. I know you want customers to shop, so as I said; customers should be DRAWN to the back of the store instead of HAVING TO GO to the back, which can be easily achieved. Create an exciting experience. Promos are HUGE . Research Dave Thomas, the king of promos. Associate name with promos, like, free Irish beer/summer sodas, winter hot cocoa for the kids Mondays.. Yippee ! Absolutely will never shop here.We went on vacation and upon arrival back to our car in Chicago at a hotel, we found that our key fob was dead for our car. So we couldn t get in the car.This store location closes at 9pm. I called around 8 to see if they had a battery for the replacement, which the worker said yes. I told him our story and that we were locked out of our car.It took me until about 8:30pm to get an Uber over to where we were located at to take me to this store location. We arrived at 8:50 and the doors were locked. I knocked on the door and the worker just looked over at me and smiled and shook his head no.Well at least their competitor company didn t close the doors early especially after I called to let him know I was coming.Go to O Reilly instead.I would give 0 stars if possible.

I called them once again today. Why, I don't know. I think I'm just curious to know if anything has improved. Of course, unfortunately, it was the same experience as usual. The manager was difficult, without knowledge or any common sense and unwilling to help. I immediately called another local store and was taken care of quickly and professionally as one expects

I am not sure if it's me or other people have noticed that staff at Advance Auto are almost never friendly. They don't greet you as you enter the store. When you ask a question, it seems they are grumpy. They have a good selection and competitive pricing. Just need to fix that attitude. I noticed this attitude in the 2 stores I have near me.

My friend recommended me advance auto parts he said they changed his battery on the spot ,my case was different I had no idea they are understaffed and there was no one with the capability of changing my battery so I had to do it my self.the reason I went to advance is because I have 0 knowledge and experience of doindg such a a thing

This is a public warning to all people. Who wabt to purches item or items at this location. The employees here lie about the companies return police. The will give you a very hard time, with a very bad attitude. When trying to return items, As well as telling you that they have no means available. To pay you back for your returned items.

Went there for a battery before the winter cold and they had what I needed. Diehard Silver battery. Service was quick and remarkably helpful. After installing the battery I drove back and they checked my alternator with a fast free test to make sure there were no problems that my Honda CRV was charging the battery I bought perfectly so I didn't have to worry about that. Second time I bought car batteries there. First time the gave me the discount that ended the day before because I had a problem online. Really a fine place from my experiences.

I bought a defective product for gas siphoning they would not give me a refund. They said all they can do is store credit this policy is not on receipt or explained during purchase. There return policy just lost them a customer over 10 bucks I will shop at Autozone or Napa.

went into store to buy light bulb which are about 25 to 30dollars for a good h11 bulb and so I asked if I could borrow a small screw driver which I already know because i used to be an manager for them. They have it on there battery cart. So I was told no bluntly. I put the light bulb back and left. Horrible customer service. Never again will I go to this location. You make the sale by going the extra mile.

Overall it s a good store. I only wish the staff was more helpful, unlike the Auto Zone on Oakton (5 min. away from here) the employees were not at all helpful, I didn t know what oil I needed and they helped me search for the name and all, but didn t guide me to where anything was. Literally spent 15 min looking for the oil and the filter. I d recommend going to Auto Zone instead, you ll receive much more help there!

Variety of supplies. Helpful staff when I asked for help. Reduced one star due to some gangster music playing in the store. As a customer, I don't want to hear about "the mother-f*******" or the "uh, yeah, I f****** went to...". Keep the music professional. You're not at your house or in your car.

I did talk to julie to replace my oil filter and she did order mobile one for me after I get to the store they ordered wrong one am not really happy with services and I felt tried not fairly am switching to auto zone better customer service and Jose also don't want to help me

Easy going and ask if you need help right away. They carry most parts in stock for several models and I have used for truck parts in the past and if they do not have they will order and have before the next morning. They also offer business accounts to help save money.

Worst customer service. Tried returning a battery for the 10$ Credit was told to go to a different location that s 5 miles away. ???? She didn t want to deal with it.

Some offbthe staff are ok. I ended up placing 2 orders of parts, but one of them went to different store, by accident, I asked if I could just get the part from their store instead, one of the women that work there made a fuss and was rude about it, and still said no, not trying to help

I came really late but I ve still got great service from Scott and Esteban,bought battery online with 20% off discount ,installed and tested for free ,very knowledgeable stuff ,my auto parts store in neighborhood from now on

I disagree with this store I bought and starter and they gave an old part, when I return for change they told me in 2 hours, tjey gave to the mechanic and refurnished and already paid for a new one, thats no nice, I don't trust them anymore, Never I will be back , I can't recomend this place
