I am a new customer of AAMCO recently having a transmission oil change and a diagnostic done on my Nissan.The work the mechanics did was well done and at a reasonable price. My car is driving smoothly.The sales person at the front desk is knowledgeable in all that is auto care and is friendly and helpful.I trust these guys with working on my car.I highly recommend AAMCO for total car care.

I have had issues with the transmission they put in last year. Stopped in a few times to have the issues I m having checked and they kept brushing it off. Come to find out took it to another location and sure enough the transmission was not installed properly and therefore leaking. I am now stuck without a vehicle until the new transmission is replaced. The only plus side is my transmission is under warranty. I will be contacting the better business bureau. I want to thank AAMCO for the professional and courtesy staff. I brought my Audi A4 here and I wasn't disappointed the managers were helpful, straight forward and professional. Overall this location is a 5 star in my book and the place was very accommodating for myself and my car. Great business! I would highly recommend! Thank you again!

There are no stars available to describe this service shop. They are unprofessional/ horrible service, dirty shop and unskilled mechanics that cost me 1266 dollars for a simple trans service. Be sure to ask Luke about the Mercedes. Do not let the hispanic technician work on your vehicle. Keep driving past this shop.Everyday I will keep editing on how poor the service is terrible.Just refund my money and I will go awayGuess what? I'm back to tell everyone this is the very worst that you can do for your car. Terrible service, terrible untrained mechanics. Got engine light on during visit from Toronto to Chicago. Make appointment with this shop. Really appreciate front desk service and Rami checked vehicle condition and road test to make sure nothing wrong. Erase the engine light code and explain this could happen some times. Big surprise is the service is offered free! Really appreciate the professional help. Recommend for sure!

My car was giving me so much problems with the transmission. I took it to many places near by but none of them were able to figure out the issue and I had to pay for diagnostic . Finally I took my car to AAMCO and the technician was able to identify the issue right a way and fix it the same day. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who owns a car

Came to the shop for a muffler issue but they did not have welding tools to take care of the issue. However they did find a couple other issues that thankfully had to be resolved. They took care of me and I learned a couple things about my car that I didn't previously know. Rodrigo and David take care of things efficiently and in a timely manner so highly recommend them!

Did my transmission about a year ago with them ..they had the car for more than a month and the employees convinced me that it s under a warranty and they will cover it ..the car broke down again with the transmission and they didn t cover it even though it was under warranty of 1 year saying the computer panel of the car was bad and it s not showing codes I said the computer panel was the same last year and was showing the same codes ..but the employees denied..a another problem their employee keep changing and each employee has their own version and if we ask them anything they said the district manager denied it ..all in all I had a bad experience and they were quite expensive..I paid close to 3k and was very disappointed with the service..

Needed a trans flush and the dealer wanted triple the price. Came in and Chris took good care of me; he made sure the job was done right. Dealer had asked for half a day, and I was out after about an hour and for way less. Car is driving amazing. Would definitely go back for other service.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

As a walk in I received fast and courteous and professional service at the desk. The technician came out to the car and diagnosed the situation I was having with the car. Everybody was extremely courteous professional and well trained. I came in for a transmission fluid change . I left my car at 7:30 am because I was told they would need all day with it. I called at 8:30 to make sure that they had seen my car and have the keys in hand . Chris stated that my car was being brought in as we speak . Later that day I got a call stating the price of this service which I agreed to . It s now 5:35 and I m looking forward to the job being done and it wasn t . I was told that at 3:30 they realized they couldn t get into the hole where the fluid is put back into the car.I was never called or communicated with regarding this. They had two hours prior to me coming in to inform me of this so I could look to do business elsewhere. No instead Chris just waited until I got there to tell me the bad news. This isn t how you conduct business nor how you treat a first time customer. I left with a bad impression of this business and will not be returning . How are you the manager and you can t communicate effectively with your customers? The call would ve taken 30 seconds or less. Quick to tell me the price but not that the job can t be done ? Bad business and lack of communication will cause businesses to sink . Thanks for nothing . Don t go there unless you want your time wasted .Service: General repairs & maintenance

Talked to Chris for an appointment because my check engine light was on and green drive light was flashing. Took car in to have them do a diagnostic. I was a first time customer and had an all around good experience. When I first contacted Jimmy and explained what I thought was wrong with my car he said they would check out and get back to me. The next day I dropped off my car early and left my key in the deposit box. A little thing like a nice new deposit box, securely locked with forms to fill out along with pens to fill out the forms was reassuring to me that they are thoroughand probably do good work. I received a call from Jimmy with a quote to fix my car, turned out to be something other than I thought it was and less expensive to fix. So didn't try to gouge me and was honest about the repair my car needed. Communication was good, got a call back in the afternoon that the repair was complete, my problem was fixed in a timely manner. Looked to be an organized and clean shop. Clean restroom for customers. I am a Facility Manager by profession and EPA and OSHA compliance appeared to be in place. The repair cost did not seem out of line for the work I had done. I will definitely be going back.

Mitch and his team did an excellent job taking care of us. At the end of the service, the car works excellent and I am glad I don't have to get another. The price was more than fair and they fixed my water pump in just a couple days.I highly recommend this AAMCO location. Be sure to also use their partnered towing service for the best deal on towing.

Run fast and far as this place is simply awful! I have an older car with lots of miles and my regular mechanic confirmed my transmission and radiator went out and to take a it to a place like this, since that was work he didn't do. AAMCO also confirmed it was the transmission and radiator, but that everything else looked great, so I decided to get the work done. They said it could take a week or so to get parts and I told them that was fine, since I was not in a hurry. After 2 weeks, I had not heard anything, so I reached out and asked for an update. Person I talked to didn't seem to know my car was even there and said she would get back to me. I then asked to talk to the person that I initially worked with and was told they no longer worked there. I never heard back and called back the next day, person said the parts were delayed and would be in the following week. Waited another week and still no call back, so I called and second person that I had worked with was no longer there and this was person number 3. They were super apologetic and indicated it looked liked the parts were never ordered and they would expedite the order. I was a little annoyed, but still in no rush so figured it would be fine. Person #3 kept following up with me, which I appreciated, but supposedly transmission that was delivered was cracked, another transmission never showed up, etc. After another 2 weeks of waiting for parts (5 weeks overall), I was told the correct parts had arrived and my car would be ready the following week. Stopped receiving updates, so called to check in and was told by a new person (#4 now), that my car was on the lift and being worked on and should be ready that week. A couple days later car was ready and went to go pick up and price was almost $1k higher than I was originally quoted. This person claimed the first person that gave me the initial quote had been fired and that they could no longer honor it. After about an hour of back and forth, they finally honored the initial quote. I was just happy to have my car back, only to have have the radiator go out 3 days later. I was so frustrated, I called the AAMCO corporate offices only to end up playing phone tag with their regional person. To make a long story short, was back in another 4 times (2 for the radiator and 2 for other associated leaks that they tried to charge me extra for). After dealing with person #6, was told this was a corporate training store and their employees only spend a few weeks there and then move on to other locations. I'm sure they're fine for simple jobs like oil changes and brakes, but for more complex jobs like transmissions (which is ironic, since this is what they're supposed to be known for), they're awful.

Worst shop to take your car to, I will not recommend it to anyone. Took my car there for transmission problem and pay close to $7K. Got the car back with check engine light, when, and found out that they left wires hanging and transmission is leaking. Took the car back to them, got it back two days later. After two weeks and so the car got stalled on my way to work and needed to be towed back to them. Very poor customer service, barely keeping the promise of a call back.Service: Transmission

We have used this service twice, once for transmission replacement and now for brakes and suspension. They are skilled, knowledgeable, and honest. Chris is very pleasant and responsive. Jimmy was so nice! I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation on my Honda CR-V, and those were both done within 45min. They also checked the car for other issues and let me know that everything else looked great! Price was reasonable and I will definitely be back for routine maintenance.

I stopped in to have my brakes serviced and an oil change. I have not found a reliable shop since the one I went to for many years closed. Carmen helped me out, he was very friendly and great at letting me know what was going on. The job was done same day and the price was reasonable. Jacob and Carmen were super helpful when I first brought my car here! I was doing my front pads and rotors myself and had an old rotor that was really stuck onto the hub. I brought it in, Carmen got it off easily and even put the new rotor on that I purchased from an auto parts store. They both were super honest and did the job super quick as well! Thank you and I will definitely be back in the future!

They were gonna fix my heater on the Jeep and said they were gonna order parts after inspection. They didn't call me back, after I payed. It was just sitting there after like an hour of "work" and that's it. They didn't return my mat or place the glove compartment box in at all. It was a waste of time and money. Times are tough and it seems people will take advantage of that to fill there Pockets.Service: Air conditioning

We brought our car in for service this week. Jimmy and Sam did a great job. They let us know what was happening each step of the way. They were dependable and did a great job for a fair price. I recommend them highly.

This is not the first place I would recommend to someone. When I dropped off my car, I communicated with Chris that I would drop off my car Tuesday night, so they could start working on it Wednesday morning. Thursday, near closing time, Chris called me asking me when I would drop off my car so they could start working on it. I explained to him that I dropped it off Tuesday night, and it was in THEIR parking lot. He gave me this excuse, oh, I m so sorry I thought that was someone s car from the restaurant next door. The was an immediate RED FLAG. My car was only supposed to be there for three days max. However, it was there for almost two months!!! This was the hugest inconvenience! My car is an older model, so naturally, AAMCO ran into some problems that were a setback, and on top of that, the first three transmissions came in damaged. These are things AAMCO nor myself can control, and I understand it happens. However, AAMCO should have been the one calling me when something like this happened. I was the one who called and followed up EVERY SINGLE TIME! Not knowing what was happening and constantly having to call was frustrating and unprofessional on their part. I m disappointed in how AAMCO handled my situation, and I wish they had been more transparent promptly. Please don t take your car here!!!! You will lose your mind with these guys!!!!Service: Transmission

I'm so glad I chose this place to do the work on my Mdx transmission. Rob was friendly and very helpful in assisting me. He worked with my warranty people. Explained my options. Kept me posted while work was being done. Carmen was also extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this shop for any car repair work. I fixed transmission fluid leak. Ricky found the issue immediately which was due to worn coolant hoses. He fixed immediately. So far I am good with the service.They are very professional and knows what is the problem and fixing it. Before that I visited 2 mechanics with that issue, one said no leaks at all and the second found the leak but overpriced the cost around $1000 for to replace the pan. Actually problem wasn t pan but hoses.Service: Transmission
