I had a flat tire. This co was only one that would come on Holiday weekend eve. One co threatened to impound my car if I didn't have money for their high rates. A man in neighborhood showed up with handgun. The J and S did not flinch finished changing tire and provided me with assistance with my credit card. I had lots of Gratitude as I arrived home that night!

I was in a bad collision. The driver was very kind and supportive and drove me home before taking my car to the J&S lot. The young woman at the service desk was very helpful when I came several days later to remove my possessions from the car. Total satisfaction!

Received a quote from dispatch and the tow truck driver called and almost asked for double what the dispatcher quoted. He provided excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't tow all the way down to it's late and annoying that he would have to do extra work. He even had the audacity to ask me if there was a man in my house with me. His behavior was very unprofessional and he complained about having to do his job. This company lacks integrity. Steer clear!!!

My car slid off the road. I was able to get in contact with this tow trucking company. Chase was very professional. The waiting time was probably about five minutes. He was able to get my car out the ditch. The price was very reasonable and I definitely appreciate this company. I would advise anyone have any difficulties, reach out to them great job thank you so much

By far the worst service. I ve had two bad experiences with them. The first time the tow truck driver stripped a stud in my wheel putting a spare tire on my car. They had the nerve to blame the tire garage for stripping the stud while removing the tire. I had the fight for a refund on the cost but only got half of the repair cost.Recently and against my wishes, I was in an accident and my insurance called them for a tow. The driver reeked of pot and zipped in and had my car on the lift and would have pulled away without talking to me. He pulled out of the parking lot with my car in tow like he was in a race. The insurance made a mistake and forgot to call the garage so J&S called on where to deliver the car. We updated them on the correct garage and asked them to drop it off. We were told by J&S that the garage didn t have space for it and they would have to store it over the weekend. I asked my garage if this was true and they said they would never refuse s car and would have made room for it. So what should have been a simple tow on a Friday midday became a $427 bill for storing my car. How convenient for them to scam money. Never use these guys!Service: Car towing

Had a long haul tow from Chicago to DeKalb. Called a few other providers first and none were able to schedule same day. J and S/Calibre was there within 2 hours, with requested flat bed and pulled me out of a sticky situation. Driver was friendly and professional and payment was collected quickly and easily through their ap. Very happy with service and will be sure to make them my first call next time!

I love companies that are just after easy money. Why not search empty parking lots for vehicles that may not have tags visible. They're really doing a service for the community.

Chase from J&S picked up my car to tow to the dealership.Very polite, was here a little earlier than they quoted.Couldn't ask for better service, I highly recommend J&S.

I came in and expressed how I felt about little they made it known that that it was a towing area where I parked my car. They then proceeded to tell me that I was getting angry and yelling and that if I wasn t upset over the $230 I owed when they told me on the phone it was $210, I would ve gotten a discounted price and they would ve taken off the processing fee. What a joke. The lady at the front desks excuse as to why she told me $210 instead of $230 on the phone was because she was busy with other calls What an absolute joke. Nice way to rub the salt into the wound.

Tom came to tow my car this morning from the auto mechanic and was super friendly and helpful. I had just gotten bad news about my car and he made me smile, laugh really when all I wanted to do was cry. I had two amazing J&S workers help me earlier this morning as well (Aaron and Chase). Towed our car because our apartment sticker expired by like a week and charged us for having our car "past hours" even though they towed it on a day they were closed and we tried to pick it up immediately. Also the guy was super rude and was definitely having a power trip tbh he told someone "I don't need the sass" like we were children or something? Plus they tried to refuse giving our vehicle back because their wifi wasn't working and they couldn't print an invoice! Just rude and inconsiderate overall.Service: Car towing

ASK FOR AARON!!! HE WAS AMAZING HE ARRIVED BEFORE EXPECTED. MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE AND COMPLETELY TAKEN CARE OF IN THE FREEZING COLD AND SNOW BEFORE HE PULLED OFF. AND HE WOULDNT TAKE THE TIP! AARON IS THE MAN!

I needed my daughter's car towed to a repair center. I called them around 8:20AM and the dispatcher said that someone would get to the site within 45 minutes or sooner. She said that the driver would call me when he was soon to arrive. I went to the site around 9:00AM and a J&S tow truck was there shortly after I got there. The driver was courteous and got the job done well. My only reason for rating 4 stars instead of 5 is that the driver didn't call me just before arriving. Maybe he would have if I hadn't been there already. I would still recommend.Service: Car towing

Absolutely amazing experience with these guys! I told them I would be there and was late leaving my house and this absolute champion named Chase comes through in like 5 minutes. I told them I would be there but was late showing up and he said no problem I got it just tell me where it needs to go and I had it done and wrapped up and was back at home in like 15 minutes. Thank you for Chase so much for being so fast and efficient and saving my weekend homie. You rock

My car wouldn t start and the first person they sent was having trouble getting it onto the tow truck. They then sent Aaron to help, and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He had no trouble getting my car onto the truck so it could be taken to the shop. Thank you Aaron :)

Best towing service around DeKalb for sure!!!Every single towing company I ve used are unethical and impolite. J and S towing from the beginning is a pleasant surprise. Their service is on point and they communicated the service dispatch in a perfectly timed manner. They changed my perception towards towing companies for sure.I worked with John and he s an extremely nice person. He took care of my vehicle and took an extra step to place my car in a tight parking spot upon request.Would totally recommend.Service: Motorcycle towing

J&S saved the day for me!!! My car died out and wouldn t start on NIU campus, tried using aaa initially and they dispatched Tri State Towing with an hour max eta. 2.5 hours later Tri State still never showed up and said it would be another 90 minutes. Called J&S, got a call immediately from Aaron and he was there within 10 minutes!!! Great guy, super nice. Definitely use J&S over anyone else in the DeKalb area unless you want to be sitting for 3+ hours, request them personally if you use aaa!Service: Car towing

I would 100% recommend this business! I had locked my keys in my car and asked the police department for assistance. Although they tried, they could not gain access. The lock is in the middle of the console instead of the door and they had not had a lockout like this before but were happy to try. In less than 10 minutes, Tom had my door open! He was extremely professional and friendly. I will definitely use this business in the future!Service: Car lockouts

I am very grateful for J&S Recovery s assistance! Not only did the gentleman call me to let me know he was 10 minutes away, he troubleshooted the issue with battery, FOUND the problem, jumpstarted my car AND explained how to fix it.It was an AMAZING experience!!!Service: BatteryService: Battery
