Best custom shop in town. The owners Steve and Melissa are very reasonable when it comes to prices. If you are looking for top quality work and best bank for your buck this custom shop is your go to.

I would highly recommend Kinda Krazy Kustoms. I came to Steve, the owner, with a rust problem on both sides of my GMC truck, right above the wheel well. I had gone to other local shops and they quoted me an insane amount for only the one side and half the work. Steve and his crew ended up repairing both sides for half the price. GMC didn t make the part anymore that fit my truck, so Steve and his guys ended up welding the part from scratch. Steve and his guys did a great job on my truck s body work and truly went the extra mile. I also had a problem with a bad oil pump caused by horrible service from a major chain. This caused particles to get in the engine causing the stop engine light and oil pressure light to come on. Once again, Steve and his team went above and beyond to fix the issue. After an engine replacement I can truly tell the guys at Kinda Krazy Kustoms really care about their clients and don t screw their customers to make an extra buck. Unlike many places who tend to take advantage of the ignorance of the average person. Instead, Steve educates his clients on what s going on with their car and is realistic in what needs to happen and what it will cost. Regardless of where you live in Illinois, I would highly recommend coming to Kinda Krazy Kustoms to know you will get superior service.Services: Painting, Auto engine diagnostic, Welding, Oil change

Steve and his team worked on a mutual client's vehicle. Steve went above and beyond what anyone could possibly expect. He fought for what was right for his client. He was relentless to not only do a high quality job, he did so as quick as possible and was able to get the insurance adjuster to agree with him that they made a mistake. That's an incredible performance. In my 40 years of business, Steve and his people stand alone.

If I could leave zero I would. He said he was gonna help me sell my car as a friend. He lied about work he did on the car.. He let my car leave the parking lot without payment. He then tried to charge me $1200 For work he never did and he never asked to be done. I was in informed by the investigators of the Secretary of State that hes under orinvestigation for title fraud. Look out

This Shop cost me triple the amount to get fixed properly, after I had Steve work on my Jeep. Steve is not knowledgeable on working on Jeeps, he did not know how to change out my ball joints or how to work a press and had to call in another guy that was able to help him. He had no idea how to change out an axle seal and said that Jeep stopped making them that way. He threw away parts stating that no one puts these back on!! what? The spacer that he didn't put on caused paly in my hub uggg.Stay away!!!!Red flaggs all over the place!! and now I need to replace my pinion in my front Differential because he didn't know what he was doing!!!

Wow! Just Wow! Hands down one of the best automotive shops in dekalb. I was told at another shop i was going to be needing multiple different things in order to fix my vehicle but as soon as i pulled my car up to kinda krazy kustoms it was in and out in 30 minutes. ONLY NEEDED AN OIL CHANGE! Thanks kinda krazy kustoms for helping me save thousands!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Had my Chevelle taken in to get rewired, got a quote and told 2 weeks. Approximately 7 months later and twice the quote the car was done. Unfortunately had to take to another shop to repair all the mistakes made. Steve was very nice but unfortunately they are not able to wire cars, nothing was finished, 90% rigged together. I was very fortunate to find a shop to correct all the mistakes.

Terrible communication, manager is a con-man, tried to charge us on looking at the car when they didn t even LOOK at it for over 8 hours despite having an appointment. We were first time customers and they treated us terribly.

I took my 1947 Fleetline to Steven to have it lowered. I had already taken it to various other shops in Aurora and they refused to work on it. They said they had no knowledge of the car and its suspension. Steven looked at it and said they could do it easily and for a very reasonable price. Krazy Kustom also did the brakes on my Fleetline the same day. I was very happy with the results and the price. I will definitely recommend this shop to anyone with a custom old-school car.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

Great to work with and help us out with our plow truck. The person we bought the truck from Jerry rigged wiring and they were able to fix it the messed up the guy did! Would definitely go balk to for more work!

Horrible experience, the owner only tells you lies, he makes you feel good, but he only lies to you, he is irresponsible. He doesn't keep the agreements.
