Barb City automotive is where I go to fix all my tire problems. They are always fast and affordable. I had a leaky tire so I brought my car in on Monday at 4:45pm for an overnight drop-off. It was ready to be picked up at 8:30am on Tuesday! Friendly and fast service is hard to come by and these guys have never disappointed me.

I would highly recommend this place. I had taken my car to Midas since I was getting no heat when idle. They told me I needed a new radiator and thermostat and quoted me $1800. I took it Barb City automotive for a 2nd opinion and they found that it was the water pump. They told me my radiator looked new. I had them replace the water pump and no issues so far. They saved me $1800. If I would have had Midas replace the radiator and thermostat I would still be having the same issue with no heat when idle and would have had to replace the water pump also. I wld been out $3000 all together. This is the place i willGo for all my car needs from now on. Thanks again Barb City!!!!!!!

They did a great job supplying tires for my granddaughters car and finished the job before we expected. The prices are good and the service is great. The people in the office are responsible and kind. Thanks guys for a job well done!

My friend took his work truck here because it wouldn't start. It took 3 weeks or so to order a part. Tell me why he is stranded on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck ?He just got the truck back 6 days ago. What the heck!

After spending $930 for front brakes 7 weeks ago, I am having to buy front brakes again. Calipers didn't work right and over heated the rotors causing them to warp. Nothing like overpaying for poor quality work.

I ve been taking my car to Barb City Automotive for a couple years now, mainly for routine maintenance, and I have had nothing but positive experiences.Their prices are incredibly reasonable. I have never felt I was being ripped off. They were awesome! Bobbi was so nice. I had trouble days before my set appointment and she managed to squeeze me in. I had taken the car to my old mechanic and they told me there was nothing wrong! So I looked to Barb City for a second opinion as I kept having the same problem. Bobbi's team checked out the car and determined it was the battery. That's what I thought all along, but my old mechanic said it was "fine". They replaced the battery quickly and I was on my way. No problems since! I definitely will go back there for all of my car needs. Thank you Barb City Auto and Bobbi!

I love Barb City Auto, they are small enough to care. I have had many a random problem and feel well taken care of.I don't typically open this door/line of thought, but for this industry I think it's important when making your decision. We recently were on the interstate and had a breakdown. While waiting for AAA we looked for a local repair shop. Luckily we found Barb City. They were helpful and accommodating from the first contact. They checked out our problem, confirmed what we suspected was the cause, and had actually ordered the part and had it on site before we got there. They got our car in immediately, made the repair, and we were on our way in a couple of hours. The repair took less time than getting the 8 mile tow arranged. My wife, dog, and I were treated with friendlyness, care and respect by the Barb City team. We can't thank you enough.Good to know businesses and people like that are still around.

I recently brought my car in for new brakes and an oil change. In addition to that, I heard a noise coming from my brakes. Throughout the time my car was being worked on to the moment I picked itup, all of the work and parts were thoroughly explained and fairly priced. I was impressed by the amount of communication as well. Not only was everyone friendly and kind, but they would respond to my emails and calls so fast! My daughter s 2006 Camry had several issues that needed attention prior to her taking off on a 2K+ mile road trip. The folks at Barb City were awesome! I felt very satisfied with the work they did AND with the price they charged, which I thought was extremely reasonable. I did not feel like they were trying to get as much money out of me as possible by recommending a bunch of unnecessary repairs (which I had experienced at another shop in Dekalb). I trust these guys so much. They keep proving how good they are every time I go in. I have a 2013 Elantra. I went in for my regular oil change. The mechanics went to rotate my tires and found my strutt was completely broken. Even though it was late on a Friday, they did everything in their power to get the part over and repair it that day bc it was not safe to drive.I will never go anywhere else and HIGHLY recommend this shop.

After getting ripped off by a previous mechanic that I thought would be good, based on a recommendation from someone I go to church with, I shopped/asked around to find a new garage. A different friend of mine recommended Barb City. She said she s had very good service from there before, and they re not too expensive.I had an issue with my rear wiper blade motor not working as it should. I thought maybe it had burned out. Got an appointment within a day, they got to it right away, only took half an hour, all they had to do was take it apart to inspect it to realize that something was loose. Tightened everything back up, reassembled it, tested the function, and I was out of there in just about 30 minutes. Pretty quick and painless! And definitely not too expensive, no getting ripped off here! Glad I listened to my friend.The mechanic said they do free tire rotations and vehicle inspections, and they could do it the next time I need my oil changed, which won t be for a while yet. But, I would definitely trust them on a return visit. I also let them know that I had a rattling coming from underneath, which they were able to diagnose right away my first mechanic of 20 years (that went out of business definitely not the one that was ripping me off) told me that it was my heat shield, which Barb City said was the same issue. He told me the next time I come in, even if it s just for an oil change, all I would need is a few quick clamps and that would fix it. An ounce of prevention versus a pound of cure What great news!Definitely coming back the next time I need service. Quick, friendly, no nonsense, no gouging, definitely looking out for the best interest of your car and your pocketbook. Highly recommended!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

Came in because my 04 Honda Accord 6cyl hvac fans weren't running. They were extremely nice and very talented mechanics. A broke blower motor resistor was found to be the issue, labor was $375, parts $119 , total bill $523.This was pretty high, I went ahead with the work because they were nice, professional, and I recently moved here with no contacts. Afterwards I got a quote on an all around break-job. Price quoted was just a little over 1k, again a bit high. I'd like to say they are very professional, extremely good at what they do. But their prices will keep me from coming back. The skill of good mechanics is becoming harder and harder to come by, and I totally understand shops needing to increase prices to keep pace. Just know going in this shop is on the higher end. They will do great work, but you will pay a bit extra for it.Service: General repairs & maintenance
