I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this place to anyone around the Decatur, IL area. Nick & the staff were all very rude from the moment I tried dropping off my car. I ended up not even leaving it. My dad recommended Nick's based off of price... It's definitely worth paying a few extra bucks for quality people to do the work.Also, I've heard they price your car one way, & add in additional charges as they go, very untrustworthy.You're best bet here in town with a good quality people at a reasonable price is Paceley's Garage.Hope this helps everyone.

I have been going to Nick's for years. I have always been treated very well by him and his staff. His knowledge is unsurpassed in this town. Every reputable car dealer knows Nick. All you have to do is listen to his weekly radio broadcast on 100.9 Busboom&Wolf on Friday mornings to know the man knows cars and he will answer any car questions you have right there on air or call the shop. I highly recommend Nick's for all your car needs.

if i could give this place 10 stars i would,they are very trustworthy,and very very reasonably priced! my daughter was in decatur on personal business from outta state, and a wheel bearing went out of her car,leaving it disabled on the side of the road over night,called rick 7:00 am sharp next morning,towed car to shop,repaired it very quickly,she was back on the road and all at a very very reasonable price,call rick first before you call anyone else!!!!!!!

Gave my car for some body work to Nicks after a small fender bender. The hood popped out and the moved 5 mm inside. Nick quoted to pull the bumber out and put the hood back in. Instead of pulling the bumper out, he bent the hood and latched, leaving the hood all wrapped up. When asked about it he said he gave a new $3000 more quote on top of the $1000.00 I already spent with him. Before giving it to him, he promises about how he repaired 10s of thousands of cars and no job was done wrong. False promises.

Would not recommended for any kind of auto detailing. Just awful when they can't even get all the wax off. That's just a small lack of attention to detail, what about the larger jobs that other people have done there.
