Had Bill and Tom service my car for about 2 years now up until their retirement last week. If I could give 6 stars I would. There s never been a complaint as many times as I ve brought my car, and I ve never had any issues with either of them. Overall great prices, great customer service, and great hospitality. I ll miss the both of you sincerely, happy retirement Bill and Tom!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Transmission repair, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, A/C installation & repair, Oil change

A/c was not working and Tom got me in within 24 hours. Very friendly service. Did the least expensive option first and said if there is a leak he would credit me the Freon and take a closer look. I was very glad to start with the most affordable fix. Super nice guy.

About 3 mo ago my vans check engine light came on, about halfway to hometown for vaca with 3 littles in tow. I panicked knowing that it s unheard of to get same day service, but the nice gentleman talked w his technicians and they managed to diagnose, find the part and fix it within a few hours; despite having tickets out the door. The repair shop and his guys really saved the day that day for me and my family. Thank you so much for your kindness.

My buddy who has lived here his whole life recommended Billingsley. I can't be happier, dropped off my car in the morning before work and they diagnosed and replaced a faulty alternator, fixed a slow leak in a tire and installed a new battery by the end of the day for a reasonable price. Will definitely use their services again.

I rented a Uhaul trailer and needed to pick it up here. They were very friendly and helpful from the first contact. They also had the adapter needed that I had not thought to get and they hooked up the trailer to my vehicle. Check them out for their auto repair service too.

They Genuinely care about your car needs. Wet patient & they take the time to find out what s happening to your vehicle & work diligently to find the problem & fix it. Great people skills. Going to be missed..

We rented a trailer for a quick move last week. We dealt with Tom who was very personal and friendly. The price was affordable and the whole process was fast. We were in and out within a few minutes

my son Jeff took my Regal Buick2000 in ...shuts down while driving..motor just cuts off.. they kept it for about 3 weeks .could not diagnose the problem. It is a classic...wanted to restore.... popular car.. in it's heyday.....EC

I've used Billingsley twice now and I won't take my truck anywhere else in Decatur. Always friendly, fair, and professional. They fix the problem and no guessing or running up the bill. Im more than pleased with them, and would recommend to all.

The best auto repair shop in Decatur il.they work on my Business cargo van my 2005 caddy and my Mitsubishi Eclipse 1998.A good job at a fair price. Dependable

We have been going to billingsley for years and they are awesome bill is our favorite he really knows his stuff at one time I went in because something was wrong with my car and he found out that my brakes were warped he fixed them and had no more problems we have been with them probably since 2002 somewhere around there bill is a great guy and so is the front desk girl the younger one

Best place in Decatur to take your vehicle for fair & honest repair. Tom will always take time to talk to you. If he's busy...one of his other qualified mechanics are willing to help! It's always a busy place. I know why now!

My 2001 Jimmy broke down on Hwy 55 north to Decatur. Had it towed here over Christmas week. Jay was very helpful and very methodical about finding cause of car problem. They fixed it and I am very grateful!!!!! They took the time to find the cause and did not just slap dash something together to get me out of there. They are also very reasonable!!! I would recommend them to everyone.

The folks at Billingsley's are always super helpful and accommodating whenever I need my car worked on, they've made quick appointments for me on short notice when I desperately needed help, and answered my questions whenever I needed answers. I'd highly recommend the folks at Billingsley's if anybody needs their car worked on!

I was in a car accident and had my car towed there. Once Tom told me that my car was not worth fixing I then begin the process of having my car towed. I paid him on a tues started removing my things and went back on friday to remove plates and my car was gone. Then he stated that I gave a place permission to tow my car which was untrue once I reached out to them they stated that Tom called to have my car removed along with another one. When I confronted Tom with what was said he got angry and mean telling me to never call or come to his business again mind you I was still being rather pleasnat at this time. I reached out to the towing company they said they can provide paperwork that shows the transaction. The ower of the tow company was so nice and pleasant I truly appreciate his professionalism as far as Tom I would never take a bike to him to get fixed he was rude and very unfair and mean for no reason.

This place is fabulous. I had an estimate from another shop, as well as the dealership, and Billingsley's did it better and much cheaper. They kept me advised as to the progress and the slight delay due to a part that was difficult to obtain. I highly recommend Billingsley's!

Here is my experience in a nut shell payed to have my front end inspected after experiencing lots of shaking in the front end they take my truck and drive it put it on the lift and three of their so called mechanics look at and inspect my truck and tell me I have a bad tie rod end and would be about 400 for the repair. Not being an idiot and mechanicaly inclined myself I found this to be almost impossible so I asked about ball joints and if the front u joints were good" yea ball joints are good sounds like the ujoints could be bad but there's no way to tell ." I take my bid and leave with plans on getting under the truck myself being short on time I stop at speed lube for a quick oil change the tech there calls me out to the bay and shows me both u joints are cracked plain as day so I go home jack my truck up find u joints bad all ball joints bad both tie rod ends bad among a few other things that bilingsley failed to find the part they quoted me at 200 bucks is actually 70 dollars and hey master mechanic u joints and ball joints are as easy to diagnose as it is to spot a piss poor shop. I had up to this point heard many good things about the place but since asking around have heard that the quality and reputation has been on a steady drop and I must agree. I gave 2 stars one because the price for the shity inspection was cheap and the second in hopes they may improve in the future

They fixed my granddaughter's volkswagen in one day!! They are fantastic. We'v used them before and found them to br knowledgeable, honest and gairly priced!!! We would definitely recommend

My alternator went out. Thinking it would take days to get replaced I was told they would do it while I waited. They go the extra mile to please their customers. They are the best in town!
