Watsons is a place where it seems like everyone knows Bob, the owner personally and have known him for years. That s a good thing. Trust in the man who fixes your car to the point that you keep coming back.I live in Florida and Illinois and when I have a car problem in Illinois, he s my go to shop. Always good work.

Updating my review. It's wonderful to find mechanics you can trust and that take excellent care of your vehicle. I highly recommend Watson's, you won't go wrong here.I did a review several months ago, my rating hasn't changed, but I've had new experiences and I want to keep these kind of fresh. I needed brakes done. They did what I needed, but also found other problems that were necessary to get fixed. They were able to get it all in, they explained everything very well. The cost was very reasonable! And I'll very likely save what I spent in repairs in gas money.These are great guys, this is a wonderful place to get any automotive work you need! I cannot express how happy I am with the work, service, and just overall care!

We were on a trip to FL from WI and has problems with our truck. Bob and his employees were the best they were able to get us up and running. We had the best Christmas and made it to FL on time. Thank you all so much!!!

I had been traveling with family through Danville from PA to Idaho. I had 5 cats and a dog in a rental with a flat tire and had been deserted by Alamo Roadside service. The guys at Watson were super nice, quick, and helped us to get back on the road. We really appreciated them so much. Thank you!!!

I got 2 new tires two weeks ago and ever since then I have had too air them up every other day and never had to air my tires up before that. I spent 7 hour for two tires and a alignment and was told 2 hours, now my tire light is on all the time and had never come on before. Now there telling me there not going to make it right and charge me for a new tire pressure monitor so my light wont stay on all the time

Horrible service! Bought a tire here in an emergency situation 6/18/21. I've had to air out up once a week since it started getting cold in November. I thought it was just the temperature, but now that summer is on, I still have to air it up. I called and the obviously elderly lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful. Told me I'd have to drive 2 hours to have them look at the tire. When I asked if they'd pay for the gas, she hung up on me.

I have been coming to Bob and his crew for years. I ve never received anything less than stellar service. They are all very knowledgeable in what they do and I always feel safe in my vehicle after having work done there. The work, customer service and prices are the best you ll find anywhere. I highly recommend you go in and see Bob or Brendon for your automotive needs!

It's about good products and good work, but just as much about trust -- and trust is about the quality and character of those who offer their services. A mistake can happen...we all make them. What matters is whether there is a clear willingness to acknowledge it and make it right. We'll look forward to meeting our future needs at Watson's.

We had an unexpected and potentially very dangerous tire situation near this shop while traveling. Although they were closing in just a few minutes, they graciously brought out vehicle right in. They fixed the tire, for FREE and we were on our way in minutes. Everyone was so nice and deserves more than 5 stars!

I went here based upon the recommendation of a friend from work. My appointment to have my radiator replaced was at 2pm (on October 21st). I arrived around 1:45pm. Unbeknownst to me, the technician/mechanic scheduled to work on my vehicle wasn t scheduled to return from lunch until approximately 3:30.(I know the exact time because the man behind the counter called out the name of my vehicle I went up to the counter thinking he needed more info from me. The gentleman behind the counter explained that he was just telling the technician which vehicle he d be working on next.)I said all that to say.... I was billed for 3 hours, when in reality the technician only worked on my vehicle for a little shy of 2 hours. (from 3:30 to 5:20ish nowhere near 3 hours) I was extremely disappointed because my coworker had raved that Watson s was a fair and honest place to do business. Well I strongly disagree!!! (BTW: I provided my own radiator, so I wasn t billed for the part. My bill was strictly padded for an hour of labor that WASN T performed)I m attaching a picture of my bank transaction to prove this is a real review (since my username clearly is an alias).

I've been to Watson's twice. Once when the alternator went out in my jeep last June which only took like 90 minutesThen today when I took my fusion in because it had something rubbed against my tire. They took care of my car in all of 5 minutes. And charged me ten bucks and sent me on my way. Great staff. Highly recommend.

I've been going to this shop for years, and I live 3 hours away. Bob Watson and now his son ha e a good shop and I trust them completely. When I need a repair they give me the basics without gouging me for unnecessary work. They have great prices, and they do good work. On a rare occasion when something has gone wrong, e.g. a loose oil pan bolt, they make it right and fix me up. They hold my tires for me when I do my annual snow tire swap. I like the guys and I highly recommend their shop.

Had to wait 6+ hours just for a pistin. I was told it would be 3 hours and after it would be a done deal. Very upset with the service I got here and will not be coming back.

Always best price estimates, and they only use quality parts. They have done all repairs on my vehicles, and my Church's vehicles.Tires and repairs, majer component repair or replacement, even engine replacement, and transfer case replacements.Best price, service, and professional

I got 4 new tires put on my wife's van. There were pretty quick but a little pricey. 531.00 for 4 50,000 mile tires

Went in for an oil change in July 2018 while visiting family. Full synthetic, no issues.As I live out of state, Watson s was chosen for that service.I went to change the oil next service date and noticed the bolt is stripped. Trip to the Ford Dealer quotes at $324+labor for a new oil pan and all that goes with. (3 mechanics have said, it s a 90% chance the pan will be damaged)Call to Speak to Watson s Auto and Bob Watson said, You are wasting my time and hung up .Bob Watson did not fully listen to what I was trying to tell him. I am out of state and do not live in Danville IL. He did not want to give any compensation until I asked. My terms were to pay the bill at the shop I chose in the state I am in as I am currently serving in the Military and can t just up and take a trip when I please.Bob Watson sat there and raised his voice at myself and my wife. Not professional at all. And NOT accredited with the BBB.
