I have an excellent experience having my front tires replaced at this Mavis location. The customer service from Noah was truly exceptional. He was very helpful in showing me all the options and very knowledgeable in letting me know the pros and cons of each selection. He even addressed the possible cause to my tire s unusual wear. Now a days it is hard to find quality knowledgeable service. I found one today with Noah at Mavis in Crystal Lake.

I love this place so much. I m not much of a car person but they are absolutely wonderful when helping me and explaining what exactly is going on with the car and what is needed to get it back to top shape. I was helped my Noah and he was absolutely wonderful he made me feel like family. Will definitely be coming back.

Needed wheel alignment same day on Sunday. Noah got us in and job completed in timely manner. He was professional and friendly and updated us on an outstanding issue with our car and offered a cost effective solution. He was a true pleasure to work with!!

Isaac was great with his level of service. I have nothing but very positive things to say about this business - from walking up to the front door and it was opened for me and being seen before my appointment time with total respect, politeness and professionalism. I was shown the piece of steel that was stuck in my tire + my tire was repaired complimentary. Isaac also mentioned how I really need 2 new tires - I was given 2 kinds to discuss with my husband and will definitely be going here to get them installed. Service with a smile here for sure!! Needed new tires for my Focus. Reached out to Mavis. Brought my car in for service and they let me know of some repairs that would be necessary to keep the life of the tires long lasting. I was aware of the repairs (my mechanic looked over the car before purchasing) I felt they were honest and fair. Showed me the parts and wear/tear so I could explain to my boyfriend the details. Pricing was fair, they worked with me to get the best package price for my repairs. I did have to go back in for the alignment to be tweaked but no further issues. The manager Mike remembered me and no issues. Thank you! Will be back for my SUV this year.

Isaac was great to work with. Buying tires cannot always be the most pleasant experience, but Isaac and the Mavis team were very helpful. Went in to purchase tires for my son s car, and they were very thorough in explaining the choices and options we could go with. Great service and good price! Plus the safety inspection made us aware of a front brake issue that needed to be addressed. What a great experience for a Sunday afternoon tire purchase!

Isaac was fantastic in helping me with my brake service on my Jeep. As this was my first time needing this type of service, I was not entirely sure about it but him and the team informed me and brought me in the back to show me exactly what they were gonna replace and why it needed to be done. As I have gone to other auto shops before, I have never experienced this type of transparency and it is something I greatly appreciate. Not only that, but Isaac was able to get me a solid deal on it as well compared to other local places. The service was quick as well which was an added bonus. Isaac, Anthony and the rest of the guys were fantastic. I definitely recommend this team.

On Sunday, October 8th, I had called the store ahead of time to see if they would be able to take my tire in for a simple patch/plug from a small nail puncture. I was told that they had time and could take it. We arrived about 15-20 minutes later which was about 1 hour before closing. They reviewed the tire and the puncture and we were told it would take about 20-30 minutes.We had left and came back about 45 minutes later (assuming that they had definitely completed it by then), only to be told that they "forgot about it" but will do it, at this point it was about 15 minutes prior to closing. While they were working on the tire in the back, we were asked to pay before the service was done so they can shut down their system as it was a few minutes before closing. We paid for the service, however a few minutes later they brought the tire out and told us that they were not able to fix it.We asked for a refund and were told that we would have to come back the next day to receive it since they shut down their system shortly after, and we were rushed out since it was past close at this point.We went back in on Monday, October 9th and were again told that they could not do it because their system was shut down, this was 30 minutes before they closed and I was blamed for not "calling ahead" to let them know.We then went back in on Tuesday, October 10th and were finally able to get our refund for the service. After realizing that we never looked over what they had done to the tire, assuming that they did nothing based on their comment of not being able to fix it, we reviewed the tire and realized that they had completely RUINED the tire and it still had an air leak! (See photo attached). You can tell that they rushed it due to being close to closing time and were just lazy, leaving us with a completely unusable and unfixable tire!After the terrible service that we received at Mavis, we went to another auto shop in the area to see if it could be fixed and were turned away because of the damage that Mavis did to the tire.We had to purchase a brand new tire due to the damages that Mavis caused to our tire from "fixing" a simple nail puncture. We deserve much more than a refund for the service as their laziness and rushed job ended up costing us much more than a simple patch/plug by leaving us with the only choice of purchasing a new tire!

First time here. The shop is right on Hwy 14 / Northwest highway and also accessible from Pingree. Setting up an oil change was easy, turnaround was quick, and price was competitive. The staff is trustworthy and the shop is managed well. Highly recommended!

Excellent service. The manager, Isaac, was straight forward and honest with me regarding what my car needed and did not pressure me into spending more than I needed to at that time. Saved me time and money. I'll definitely come back for future tire needs.

We were in Crystal Lake for my child s sports tournament when we got a flat tire that desperately needed replaced. This was not an ideal situation to need help and also be in an unfamiliar area on a late Sunday afternoon when businesses were about to close. The day could have been a lot more stressful, but Isaac was able to get us in right away, and fixed our car so we d be able to get home after an evening full of games. Amazing customer care, great pricing, and quick service. Would highly recommend for any tire needs. Thank you so much!!

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would! I chose them to change all 4 tires a couple months ago. They did a great job I assumed. Come February, my car is shaking again, and tire went flat. I took my car into them, they said it needs new brakes and new rotors and said my rim was bent. I don't remember in 30/45 days hitting a pothole or a curb or anything. So how come no one told me when they changed all 4 tires, my rim was bent. They sure as heck got the sale of 4 tires. Mind you, I rarely drive my vehicle because of the shaking and I stay at home. I spoke to a manager to get some insight on why no one mentioned the rim the first time. He was very rude and said to do whatever I wanted. Offered no apology or anything. I have kids, it's not safe to drive on a bent rim! No care about safety from Mavis Tires. They sent me on my way with 4 new tires and a bent rim the first time. I did later ask my husband and he said at one point in November he hit a pothole pretty hard. So ok yes our fault in the end for the rim. But Mavis didn't mention when they put tires on, and didn't mention to be careful. Nothing from them. Just rude and didn't care. Never again will I take my vehicle to Mavis. I had to deal with the tire going flat before they told me the problem. They should have ensured safety and job done correctly before putting on the tires.I took my car to another shop, and they said when the old tires were removed it caused the seal to break with the bent rim. The old tire molded to the bent part allowing it to stay aired up, so when the tires were replaced, the seal was broke, and the new tire wouldn't stay aired up for long. Just frustrating that I take my car to do its services all the time and people take advantage.

Excellent experience! Isaac was extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable & he went above and beyond to explain everything that was going on with my vehicle. He wasn t pushy at all. He just gave me the information and then, gave me the space and time to come back in order to get the things that will need to be fixed/addressed regarding my vehicle. Honestly, I can t say enough good things about Isaac and his professionalism & for treating me just like another customer and not just another woman who a lot of times they treat like we don t know anything about vehicles. Very appreciative & definitely will be returning and will be ONLY dealing with Isaac.

I had my Honda Civic in to replace my front brakes. Todd was able to explain to me the service and assist with setting me up a time that convenient for me. Service was quick and I m extremely happy with the results. Todd and Anthony have worked on my cars in the past and I ll keep returning as a customer to them.

Isaac and the Mavis team saved my Saturday. Came in with a flat from my lawnmower and they fixed it on the spot. Highly recommended!Update:Since taking my mower tire to Mavis I ve had my fleet vehicle and my son s car worked on at this location. Each time the team has been great in communications about the repairs as well setting the timeline for the cars to be ready for pickup. Cars have been repaired well and at a fair price. I continue to highly recommend the Mavis in Crystal Lake.

Needed an oil change and to have my breaks looked at, Noah was great and got me in and out pretty damn quick and was really knowledgeable about my wrx and what I needed to do in order to keep him runnin smooth. The great and quick service was much appreciated!

Isaac was fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable! Is willing to work with you in order for you to get what you need. Service was quoted to be about 2.5 hours, was done way before that. Shout out to John's Towing for getting me here safely! Thank you to Jay! Amazing mechanic!!!Excellent job!

This place is great, I made an appointment for a week later instead the shop called me that same morning telling me about special deals they had going on that day instead and asked if I could come in after breakfast. I said absolutely and they did above and beyond what I came in for. Fixed my radiator leak, new breaks for the front and new tires, an oil change and filled all my fluids and even worked on a price. I will definitely be back and respect them for acting human in the situation instead of corporate drones. Thank you mavis I will be back!

I couldn't recommend this Mavis higher. Called ahead and Isaac met me outside right when I arrived. They fixed two slow leaking tires in only 30 minutes!! Noah kept me informed during the whole process and Mike checked me out. I couldn't be more satisfied. 10/10 experience. Will be coming back!

I used to go to Mavis in Carpentersville but wasn t satisfied with the repairs at that location. I decided to try the mavis is crystal lake and so glad that I did. The manager Mike, I recognized from carpentersville. Mike and his team took great care of me and my vehicle and got the repairs done the same day. I highly recommend coming to the mavis in Crystal Lake!
