Service department is absolutely garbage. Had to have my car towed there Tuesday morning after a dead battery made all the computers go haywire. Called later in the day to check status seeing as how I was never informed that they had taken possession of my car. Said we ll get it in this afternoon . Didn t hear anything the rest of Tuesday, called before I left work Wednesday afternoon, after being on hold for over 10 minutes I was disconnected. I called back and they said let me check the status . After about few minutes on hold the mechanic had it in this morning, he wanted me to ask you when did it start doing this . I said when I changed the battery. Like we discussed Tuesday morning when I called to have it towed in, and also when we discussed it when I called back Tuesday afternoon checking to see if you got my car. They said okay, well he s moved onto something else so maybe we can get it in the morning (Thursday). I call Thursday around 11. We re hoping to get it in after lunch . Then finally get the call saying it s done around 2pm. All for a simple plug the computer into the car to rest it. 5 minute job. Then I pick up my car and it was an absolute mess. They did wash it, but maybe, just maybe wait until you re done working on it to wash it seeing as how 90% of my car looks clean now but the other 10% is covered in greasy mechanic hand prints. Just a thought. Then I go and get into my car and everything is strewn about and isn t even put back together. Plus they apparently did free Multi Point Inspection while my car wash in. Passed with flying colors. Weird their extensive inspection didn t find the crack in the windshield or tire pressure light on. There s a Kunes Chrysler Dodge Jeep & Ram 6 miles from this place. Even if you have to push your car to the dealership choose that one. P.S. don t judge me for my dirty car, it s my work beater.

I was looking for a specific pre-owned, high-end vehicle (not Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep). Happened to find one at Crystal Lake CDJR. Took the car for a test drive and all was well. I wanted a pre-purchase inspection done on it (PPI) which the dealership allowed me to do. I have a mechanic in the South Loop who is a specialist in this brand and asked that my sales person bring it down to the shop so it could be fully inspected. They accommodated me by driving the car down to South loop and allowed the car to stay with the mechanic for a few days to complete the inspection and do a test drive. The mechanic found several issues with the vehicle needing repair, He offered to make those repairs in his shop (since was a Porsche specialist and CDJR mechanics are not). CDRJ agreed to let mechanic perform the repairs at their expense.I was treated fairly by my sales rep however - there was definitely some high pressure pre-sale from the dealership sales manager to accept some type of "paint protection layer" and "LoJack" recovery system - which would have added $4,000 to the purchase price. It took me several firm "no's" to decline those unwanted "extras" and they eventually relented.When the repairs were complete, the sales rep drove down again to deliver plates and paperwork. I appreciate that I did not have to drive back to Crystal Lake from the city.I will say that the communication with the different departments at CDJR (finance, sales, service, management) leaves less to be desired and I often had difficulty reaching the people involved in the transaction. I can't say I would purchase from them again, but in the end the car is good and I am happy with the purchase.

I've waited about a month before writing this as I thought I needed a cooling down period. We bought a used vehicle here and was told they would provide a tow package and not to expect a call for about 6 weeks. That was the holidays and then we had snow and finally in February I called to find out what was going on. They tried to tell me my vehicle couldn't have a tow package. After some discussion they said they could do an after market product but they would have to order it. A few days later they called and said they had the part and did I want to schedule it. I had to call back later to schedule. The day before we go in, they call to confirm. The drive is 3 1/2 hours. We get there at 1:00 as was scheduled. At 2:30 they call me and tell me they don't have the part. How poorly run does a place have to be to call you and tell you the part is in, call the day ahead to confirm you're coming, and when you get their an hour and a half later they say they don't have a part. Nobody even apologized for the inconvenience. I ask how does this happen. 'I don't know' was the response. I will NEVER do business at this place again.

I went back to trade in my previous vehicle because I had a great experience the first time. This time I had Elizabeth As my car sales rep. She was so helpful and respectful Of all the things I requested. I was also on a time crunch Which she totally understood. Her and Kevin, the manager gave me a great deal and a great extended warranty as I travel a lot for work. I was also not able to drop my car off at home as I had a rental so after I went to go clean out my previous car that I traded in- which Elizabeth helped me do as well she Drove my car home and dropped it off for me. Not to mention- I live about 20 or 30 minutes away. She also filled up my gas tank and Made sure everything was well working. I am very happy with my trade-in.

Had a fantastic experience at this dealership. We traded in our current 5 seater car for a 7-seater to accommodate our growing family. Rod was amazing to work with! He answered all our questions patiently and thoroughly. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle we purchased and spent a good amount of time going through all the features with us so we knew how to enjoy all the benefits the vehicle had to offer. All the staff we met there were friendly and helpful without being pushy at all. He has even checked in with us twice after the sale to make sure we are happy and see if we had any more questions. The facility was clean and they made the whole process as painless as possible. We LOVE our new vehicle and will return to this dealership if we ever need to make another purchase!

I bought a truck from Crystal Lake and was a very pleasant experience. I requested an information on line because I live in a distant estate and the response was very quick, I was attended by Cody who answered all my questions and sent me a lot of pictures so I liked the truck and started the process to purchase it, the same day was approved. I flew 4 days after to do the test drive and the truck was in very good condition like Cody told me, I did the final paperwork and by noon was driving my truck back to home. Finally I just want to say thanks to Cody and Fernando for the excellent customer service.

Bought a 2018 jeep rubicon in February. Thankfully I screenshotted the price when I called to ask about the car because they raised the price 4 grand on their website after I expressed interest to test drive. They tell me with my trade in (17 denali with 70000 miles only a year left of $500 a month payments) im looking @ 750 a month for 72 months. When I said I'm walking @ that point the salesman told me maybe I'm over extending myself. As if I wasn't walking for being gouged. I somehow magically talked him down to 450 a month for 75 months..after finalizing instead of walking I asked about the front driver plate and the salesman said yea you can do that yourself idk how and everyone's gone. Over $40000 and I need to put on my own plate? The secondary battery was also out for auto stop start. Argued for a month to get it fixed for free but they actually did it. Fast forward to now. This was a certified pre owned vehicle. Inspected in and out.. Paint is bubbling on the hood and fenders. The paint that was certified to be inspected. Over $40000 not including interest taxes title fees and my paint is bubbling.. The 5 year corrosion warranty ended in May so they are saying they're not responsible for it. A "certified pre owned" vehicle from a supposedly reputable dealer is the only reason I would spend this type of money on a used car.. And now I'm @ a financial loss because their word means nothing. Their certification means nothing. It took 5 phone calls and a week until they got back to us today to say they're not responsible. They were calling me every day when I wanted to come in for a test drive though. Funny how all that works

Brittni W. -is AMAZING in the service department! My Jeep Cherokee had a thermostat housing that needed to be fixed so it could pass emissions. Upon the inspection it was shown the timing cover was also leaking. 2 of my motor mounts were bad as well. My days off are very wonky sometimes. She was very patient and answered all my questions and in the end it was like $3,500 work of repairs that my warranty picked up on. I just wanted to say she s GREAT and it made me extremely comfortable to deal with the service department in the dealer. I will only deal with her if I have to come back.

Had a wonderful sales experience here over the weekend. Drove 2.5 hrs to buy a car from them. Mario, Kevin, and Bryan were incredibly helpful and eager to earn my business over the phone and email. When I got there there salesman Rod had the car prepped and ready to drive.They also didnt push any mandatory add ons which is not the norm these days. These guys are doing it right!

After an initial negative interaction (I think with the previous management team), this dealership reached out to me to see how they could make things right, and they truly went above and beyond. They have worked hard for the last two and half months to order a new Jeep Wranlger for me and ensure that they kept their word on pricing, even through the union strike started two days before I placed the order. My saleswoman, Jaclyn, kept me up to date on progress and financing, and Robert Ace, one of the managers, kept his word on the pricing I was promised when we placed the order. I couldn t be more pleased and impressed. I would highly recommend Jaclyn and the dealership.

So bought used minivan as is for a decent price, but check engine light went on as a got home from dealership. I live in racine Wisconsin. Check gas cap warning light. Bought a new cap, same problem. Changed leak detector pump, same problem. Cannot register car, as it won't pass emissions test. Called dealer, they said bring it back here, 1.5hr drive, but won't give rental car to get home, will only diagnosis car for free, will not fix it. We'll, I sent email to customercare as you suggested, that didn't help anything. Waist of my time. Won't be back ever again, thanks for nothing.

Jaclyn is the absolute best car dealer ever!! Not only was it so nice having a female dealer but she was so so sweet and found my dream car on her first try!! She wrote down all of my wants and needs and all of the things I don t want. I found this really impressive because I ve been to 5 dealerships before coming here where they don t take the time into truly caring what I want. The car was in mint condition for being 2017. It looks brand new on the outside and inside! I feel so safe in it and it runs really well. When we were waiting for financing she offered me snacks and even an iPad for games because my phone was about to die. I seriously recommend asking for Jaclyn Phillips if you re searching for your dream car.

Worst experience I ve ever had at any dealership in 30 years. Make a 9:30 diagnostic service appointment a week ago. Show up, go to waiting room. Informed they may be too long for me to wait, so they shuttle me. I call at 3pm. Car still hasn t even been put up on the rack to be checked out. Many excuses as to why. Told they think they can do it tomorrow. Took the car without being serviced and will never go back. Was thinking about possibly trading vehicle or getting different vehicle. Not from this dealership.

I recently purchased a truck for my son. It is his first vehicle. My concern was price and safety. I walked in and did not feel the pressure I usually feel when walking into a dealership. I met with Jason who was laid back and easy going. Jason went above and beyond to answer my much needed questions about the truck I was looking to purchase. He went as far as offering to put the truck on a lift so I could inspect it myself. Jason also introduced me to the service tech who completed the needed maintenance on the truck before it was put on the lot to be sold. Jason made buying a truck for my son a pleasurable experience.

Problem: 2013 Chrysler Town & country, wipers would turn on, all gauges would quit working while driving, service department indicated seeing similar situations, proceeded to invest 2 hours labor at a cost of $400 total, I requested all I needed was the functionality of the vehicle vehicle, (work vehicle) service department seemed very knowledgeable. (They did fix secondary issue with rear tailgate) thank you.Picked up van and prior to entering nothing worked, I left vehicle with service department only to pick up one week later with the same problem. I left at that point, arriving home I pulled every fuse that had nothing to do with the running of the vehicle (power seats, etc.)problem was solved. The question I have is,I would have thought the mechanic would have gone through the same process I did to eliminate the problem.

My husband and I drove over 2 hours for a unique vehicle this dealership had. We made the appointment to test drive the vehicle at 10pm the night before for a 10am test drive. In the time we received two emails, a phone call and three test messages. All to confirm and let us know they were ready for us.Upon arriving we were greeted by several team members all were polite, the dealership is very clean and the energy is amazing.Frances made sure all our questions were answered and we understood all the features of the vehicle.Be aware that the price you see online does not include the already installed LoJack system. Since it s already installed they cannot remove it.We were able to come to an agreement on price and drive away the same day.The experience was positive and we would buy from them again.

This place was outstanding. We were first helped by Kelly online and over the phone. Super nice and took the time to listen to me. When we arrived we were greeted nicely by everyone we came in contact with. We worked with Jack Irwin on our Jeep lease and he couldn t have been more friendly and professional if he tried. Super nice guy! Frankie was cool and Bob in finance was great as well. The cashier that was working was super nice as well but I didn t catch her name.One of the shortest purchases/leases I ve ever dealt with in 28 years of buying cars. I also appreciated the fact that while we were interacting with everyone, they were wearing masks. Caring about the health and well-being of their customers is SUPER appreciated by me personally because I take care of my grandmother. Outstanding, just great. If you re looking for a Jeep or whatever they have on their lot, stop in here. We were more than pleased.SO in love with our Snazzberry 4xE, I mean, how could you not be?** Update, the express service here for basic maintenance is outstanding.
