I just want to shout out to Jodi the mechanic over at Crystal Lake Brake and Auto he did an awesome job fixing my car I dropped it off and the next day it was done he stayed on top of it and called me and let me know exactly what he did and I couldn't be more satisfied if you want the job done right and you want the job done quickly this is the place to go!!

Great honest service.Visiting the area and getting on the road in a couple of days. My brakes started squealing. Jody was able to get me in quickly and did an honest job. In the past, mechanics typically tell ya rotors are needed with the pads, however, he was honest, as they were fine (little does any mechanic know that I have done my own repair work on various issues and know when rotors are needed).Service: Brakes

Best guys in this area! Was looking everywhere for some car parts. All stores provided only online order with waiting for couple days. These guys found stuff that I was looking for. And gave me it for free! Definitely will recommend them to everybody! Great job guys!!!

Their communication, diagnosis and a timely thorough repair was spot on (as usual)! They figured out a check engine light (Subaru) that was making the vehicle a sputtering mess in no time. I highly recommend this shop. Thanks guys!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Mechanics and owner are very nice. Felt like I was being treated kindly and honestly from the moment I called for an appt to the moment I paid the bill. Which, by the way, was extremely fair based on previous experience with dealer and other shops. Trust is huge with me, and they won mine.

Been going there for years. If they can t fit me in I would wait until they could. Honest, friendly and extremely competent. I wouldn t even consider taking my car anywhere else. Came highly recommended to me and was told they are one of the only honest mechanics in Crystal Lake so I gave them a shot. Diagnosed the issue on my Jeep quickly and quoted a reasonable price. Would recommend!

You CAN NOT beat this place for exceptional service. Family business that's been in CL for years. The service is top quality and they don't gouge you. Been taking all my vehicles there for 20 us years.

Fantastic service. Rear brakes locked up he was able to fix the issue and get us back on the road in less than 30 minutes all free of charge.

Bruce Barry has been servicing my vehicles for 20 years, since before he had his own service center. He and his crew are very honest, not trying to sell you more than you need, always straight up with what needs fixing and what doesn't (despite what the dealer tells you.) Also, I find C L Brake & Auto's prices to be very fair. Thanks, Bruce, keep up the good work.

I can honestly say that I trust Crystal Lake Brank and Auto for any service that I need on my truck or vehicle. I confidently have refered their services since 2012. I have never been disappointed with the many repairs I have had done on my work truck and my personal vehicle. It is difficult to find a trust worthy repair shop, thank you Armando for being my trusted mechanic.

Bruce is a stand up guy . I needed some help mounting tires on a motorcycle and he took me right in and did a top notch job. Good family shop that I can highly recommend !

Was having problem passing emissions and after bringing the my car to 4 other shops without success they fixed it in just a day and even brought it to the testing facility for me to make sure it passed! Awesome customer service and super down to earth!

Horrible customer service they hit my boyfriends car while it was being serviced and it s taken them 2 months to do shocks. I highly don t recommend going here. Worst experience I ve ever had with an auto repair shop
