An Outstanding Experience at Anderson Motor Co - 2020 BMW X3I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a 2020 BMW X3 from Anderson Motor Co./ BMW in Crystal Lake, IL, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the exceptional service, attention to detail, and the stress-free buying process, especially considering I'm from out of state.Living miles away, I was a bit anxious about finding the perfect car, one that had all the features I desired, without being able to see it in person. However, 'Sales-genius' Kendrick quickly alleviated any concerns I had. Kendrick was not only extremely helpful but also friendly, outgoing, and incredibly knowledgeable about the SUV.What truly stood out was Kendrick's responsiveness. When I tell you RUN AWAY from this dealer, I mean that! Was looking at a 2011 Mercedes C300 with 138K miles they have advertised for $7250 (overpriced actually by about $500) and was going to trade my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan with 122K miles.Everywhere I ve went looking at cars, I ve been offered $6800 to $7500 for my van. It s in almost flawless condition and has a BRAND NEW transmission in it from Dodge.These clowns told me they would take my trade and I d need to pay them $3500 for this 138K miles Mercedes. Also tried to cheat me out of the tax credit, telling me I owed taxes as well.Needless to say I didn t do business with them, and I d highly suggest you not do business with them either.I offered an even trade (them not owing me and me not owing them), and they denied that deal saying we was to far off .Absolute crooks! Avoid this place! You ve been warned! Don t believe me look on Google at all the 1star reviews they have.

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SERVICE AND THE ABILITY TO FIX THE PROBLEM Had my car in for service 3 times for the same issue every time THERE WAS A CHARGE which was paid But the issue was not resolved The BMW 5 would sometimes stall and not start for 2-3 hours later which left me stranded in parking lots asking strangers to push the car back into a parking spot This was all explained to service when in To fix the Problem. I was-assured that the problem was fixed only to have it happen again and again After the 3rd time of repairs I asked to bring it back and have them resolve it without cost which was only fair after paying all 3 times DEALER REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR INABILITY TO FIX THE PROBLEM SO HERES MY REVIEW WARNING EVERYONE PLEASE IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION DUE TO THEIR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND ABILITY TO KEEP THEIR CUSTOMERS HAPPYSTAY AWAY

Alex Daly was amazing and helped us get an affordable used car with low miles while taking into consideration our financial restraints. We had to stay a little later than planned for paperwork and he made sure to keep us company and supported/in the loop every step of the way. I had a lot of nerves going into this as a first time buyer and he put all of those at ease. We are very happy customers - thank you Alex and Team!!

I attempted to purchase a BMW M235i from this dealership and they were sketchy from the start. First, their associate posted the car on Facebook for $3k less than on their website but when I called they said the price on Facebook was incorrect. I should've ran away at that point but still wanted the car so I continued to negotiate. Anderson BMW drew up the paperwork and included over $3k in additional "non tax fees". When I questioned the extra fees, they said that includes "tire and wheel protection" and "theft deterrent" and that these fees are required and can't be removed. Who would be stupid enough to pay for these unnecessary mandatory "add-ons"? Classic example of stealership bait and switch tactics.

Such a wonderful dealership! I consulted with many BMW dealers around me and chose to drive 1.5 hours to Crystal Lake to get my dream car. Throughout the whole process leading up to the purchase date, the staff stayed in contact with me keeping me updated on the financing status, purchase status, and steps needed in advance of the purchase day. Due to technicalities, financing was a rollercoaster, but at the end of the day, Leah, Heather, Michelle, Ralph, and Jim all teamed up and got me an AMAZING (truly) deal on my dream car! In 2 hours from arriving, I had a new car! Such a respectful, not "pushy" staff that earned my respect and business for years to come. This place is worth the drive! This team is genuine and values their clients! My experience was exceptional! 10/10

One of the best dealership experiences I've had was with BMW of Crystal Lake.There are 5+ BMW dealerships in my area, but I chose to purchase my X5M from BMW of Crystal Lake (about 800 miles away from me). I called out of the blue to inquire about one in stock, and the salesman, James Orton, was very responsive and shared a few details. I then worked with James & their sales manager, Heather Lublink, over the next week regarding pricing, general questions, financing, etc.Heather & James were extremely accommodating, responsive, and transparent. We reached a deal rather painlessly & I flew in to pick up the car about 2 weeks after the first call. The finance manager, Mike, was also wonderful to work with. He was straight forward, honest, and knowledgeable. Their BMW genius, Devon, was extremely professional and helpful during my airport pickup.Everyone at BMW of Crystal Lake was professional, accommodating, respectful, considerate, and just overall good people. Every negotiation felt like a normal conversation & I could tell they actually cared about my business and satisfaction. Most dealerships treated me like a nobody. Not this one! I really enjoyed working with them & getting to know everyone throughout the process. They all seemed just as excited as I was to take delivery!Big thanks to James, Heather, Mike, Devon, and everyone else involved in my X5M purchase/delivery & making it such a special day! Everyone truly went above & beyond - and it showed. I'll definitely be back for my next BMW; regardless of distance.

Ed and Nico in Service are wonderful, impeccable service and kind to boot. John my Maintenance Technician actually sent me a 52 second video of him measuring tires, brakes and showing me his inspection. Frickin awesome!Michelle answered my questions about new models, she knows all!! Seriously This new purple is amazing, but the deep forest green almost black was my fav, stunning.5 s

#1 BMW DEALERSHIP. I can t preach enough on how amazing this place is. Every single person is so genuine and kinda and they don t care about making a sale they care about making YOU happy. That s it. Salesman was Ralph and I could rave about him for days and never get tired of it he made this process so enjoyable. Easy. And fun. Everyone down from the gm to the finance guy to the salesman. To even the cashier lady. Every one was so amazing I ve never in my life had such a pleasant experience with a dealer. Forever has my business.

Probably should avoid this place. No one answers their phones. Two voicemails asking for a callback for service over 4 days. I'm still waiting for a returned call. Business must be so good that they don't need my money or car. That's fine. I'll go to Barrington who answered my call and set up a service appointment.

Even though they did not have the right vehicle for us, we had a very pleasant and memorable experience at this dealership. My son and I would like to that Alex Daly for his outstanding service and attention. Rory was sad that Alex didn't have the best car. He wanted so much to do business with him.

Dropped my car off for an oil change since it was a recommended dealership for my Mazda. Dropped my car off at 10am, was told it would be an hour and a half and they would give me a complimentary car wash. Thankfully I didn t wait around because 5 hours later I had to call to be told it would still be another hour. Arrived to the dealership an hour later (6 hours since my appointment) to be told they didn t even wash it and that I would have to wait longer if I wanted it washed. Don t come here unless you want to waste your time.

Definitely a 5 star all around: Sales. Finance. Staff. Service. Friendly. Everyone was wonderful to work with. Bill was informative and helpful in choosing the car that fit me and my needs. I was extremely impressed that they took the time not only with me but with my special needs daughter also. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for all my car purchasing needs.

This dealership is wonderful! I set up a test drive online after closing time and the next morning received a phone call from Leah confirming my appointment. I arrived at the dealership and was pleasantly greeted by Michelle Canova, the saleswoman helping me. We went over to her desk where she handed me the keys to the car I was going to test drive and told me I could take the car for a drive on my own and to let her know when i returned. When i got back Michelle was more then helpful with any questions I had about the vehicle. The negotiation process was hassle free and very timely with no sketchy sales tactics. I arranged for a time total the car to my mechanic, Michelle was more than accommodating with my hectic schedule making this a very pleasant and easy car buying experience. I was treated with respect and my time was not at all wasted like at many other dealerships. I would 100% recommend this dealership and Michelle to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle!

We've purchased several cars from BMW of Crystal Lake, and their customer service has been outstanding every time! We recently had a warranty service issue with one of our vehicles, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend BMW of Crystal Lake!

I wish there was negative star option for this dealership. First of all, they are overpriced with various charges. Mostly annoyingly they did a hard pool on my credit score after promising they will only do a soft check which decreased my score by one point. Very poor customer service, when I asked what was going on they told me to stop contacting them.Also the response they gave here is an evidence to their poor customer service and everything they said here is a lie

From the time we walked in the door until we recieved our car the staff was amazing. We ordered a car from the factory and during the build we were kept informed. Delivery was made to be very special. Our salesperson Michelle Canova was wonderful and the Anderson team made buying a car a great experience. That, to me, is not the norm, so we were grateful and very impressed. They have made a loyal customer out of my wife and I.

Nice group of people....I love working with a woman and Michelle is fabulous so I highly recommend her. The asst manager Fabian was a courteous as can be. They treat their customers with a great deal of respect and friendliness. There is no high pressure sales, no hustle, just people with integrity. How refreshing is that? This is the place I would highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, new or used.

I have a 2006 325i which had an airbag recall - I bought this car private party. BMW of Crystal Lake sent a mobile repair tech to my house 45 mins away to install a new airbag, within 1 day of calling. I put this repair off for a long time because every other dealer in the area was going to keep the car for a day, and its very difficult for me to arrange that with the dealership being so far away.I am beyond impressed by this service, and I thought others should hear about it.

I was in for a recall service to upgrade the software and programming to correct issues with emissions. All went smoothly. A service loaner was provided and the work was successfully completed by day's end. Great people to to work with from sales to service and everywhere in between. I have been and Anderson's client since 2008 and will continue to return for my automotive needs.

I called and spoke with Leah regarding the availability of a vehicle. She said it would take a few minutes to locate the vehicle and she would call me right back. (in the next 10 to 15 minutes she said)....Well, it took 4 hours for her to call me back. She said that someone was out for a test drive and they did not submit a credit application to purchase the vehicle yet, but she would know the next morning if they did or not and that she would call me and let me know. It's been 4.5 hours later since they opened for the day and still no phone call. I can only imagine what their after sales service would be like? Thanks Leah for showing me the level of service your dealership offers.

Julian helped me out, gave me time to test the car, very attentive and quick to get answers for us. If you need help, look for Julian, he'll set you up with the car you want. Very satisfied with my purchase. (Also everyone else is very kind, never had good service at other dealers so this was a great change in pace for myself and my family)
