I ve been a customer of Auto Authority for quite a few years because of the honest, excellent service I have always received from Tony and his staff. Tony takes the time to explain any problems that need correcting and gladly answers any questions or concerns I may have. Tony is extremely knowledgeable, and I am convinced he provides the best car maintenance I have ever had! I ll be a lifelong customer.

My second experience with Auto Authority was just as satisfying as the first. I had all four tires replaced, then drove in deep fog the next day. My new tires performed spectacularly! A week or so later I had my headlight lenses replaced and they look fabulous! I don't drive after dark often but feel much more confident about my next night time trip.

Tony and team have been working on my vehicles for over 5 years and I always feel listend to, that they take time to explain things and have quickly and successfully fixed every ailment my cars have had. I highly recommend Auto Authority if you're needing repairs.

The owner might treat his customers ($$$$) right, but he does not treat employees at other institutions politely.If he s having a bad day, he ll let you hear it.He did it to me, someone that worked customer service for many years, I still don t forget the memorable experience I had with the man.

This place is great. Auto Authority is like you doctor's office, they review the status of your vehicle and recommend repairs and maintenance to keep that vehicle in tip top shape. You can trust Auto Authority just like you can trust your doctor. Great job, clean place and great mechanics.

Tony and his team always do a great job of maintaining our family vehicles and diagnosing issues when they arise. Our family fleet has often had a million miles on our collective cars (American, Japanese and German makes) and we rely on Tony s team to keep them running well and lasting. The communication is very robust and the crew is very detailed. Tony s experience and attention to detail provide us with great confidence, and we learn some things along the way. The inspection reports with pictures help us understand any issues. On a couple occasions we had an issue arise on a Friday before leaving town, and Tony happily fit us in to get us on the road safely. I rarely do reviews, but when I do it s only for the most impressive service providers. Tony has been caring for our cars for over ten years and Ive been wanting to write a worthy review for a long time. The owner, Tony Zobotti was absolutely fantastic! He s a man of his word and relentless when it comes to customer satisfaction. He spent countless hours diagnosing the issue(s) with my car who was very methodical during the process. In the end, Tony concluded they may have caused an error, owned the fault, ordered the part and ultimately fixed my car. I can t say enough about his integrity! Thanks Tony for the great experience. Tony is absolutely amazing! I m so glad someone referred us to him! I purchased a new to me vehicle, he checked it out, told me everything I needed to have done and the company I purchased from and him collaborated to make my vehicle a great reliable one! I still have some small work to be done, so I m not done yet but if you want it done RIGHT w/ NO BS, Tony is your guy!!! I have been going to Auto Authority for close to 10 years now. Tony is a great guy to deal with. He always gives in depth explanations of any work that needs to be done to your car. Also, when you ask why certain preventative maintenance needs to be done, he will give a much more indept answer than "that is the manufacturer recommendation". Tony & his team provide excellent service. They are very knowledgable and explain what needs to be done and why. Tony is extremely efficient. I get the car back and it s right. I trust him to fix my sons car before he heads off to college knowing his car is safe. That says something!! I called Tony and Auto Authority on a recommendation for a problem with an older BMW. Tony was easy to talk to treated me very professionally and kindly explained options. I was concerned about costs because a previous shop where I had the car quoted a really high repair cost. I did my research, and they had an absolutely fair price for the work I needed. The repairs were completed on the timeline Tony laid out at the start and they also completed additional items I requested timely. I've had no issues so far, and Tony even called a week later to ensure all was good with the car. I plan to continue going to them for all my needs.Service: Engine repair

Auto Authority is provides excellent automotive maintenance services at a reasonable price. Much less than dealerships but of similar quality. Tony and his staff are highly knowledgeable and skilled in the automotive field. Tony runs one of the best auto repair shops I've ever taken my car to. Honest and efficient, he will educate you on problems you may want to be aware of with your vehicle without up-selling or pressuring you into anything. There's an open view to the garage so you can clearly see what the mechanics are working on at all times. I would recommend Auto Authority to anyone looking for a reliable and honest mechanic. Giving what it costs to buy a new vehicle these days, this place will keep you on the road! Tony and team will give you a complete breakdown of what's needed for your vehicle to keep it going. I was apprehensive about going to another mechanic after having top notch service from the same shop for over 25 years! My wife and I recently moved and found Auto Authority after many searches for a place that will do quality repairs without any upselling or B.S. I take good care of my vehicles and am happy to have found a place that will do the same. I'm not from the area and my car started acting up while passing through. They got me in on an emergency basis, diagnosed and repaired my car requiring them to stay an hour and a half later than the posted shop hours. Tony rescued me from a tight situation because of his know-how, dedication to customer service, and kindness. Though I hope to not need their service in the future, I 1000% recommend using them. Tony and his team are excellent!! Tony truly has a passion for his work! His work ethic and genuine concern for your vehicle and your safety is unmatched. Love their digital inspection report as well. It includes pictures and description of area of concern; along with upcoming needs or maintenance suggestions. I have been taking my 2005 Tahoe to him for years and will continue to do so.

For almost 50 years, I've doubted most recommendations I've gotten from mechanics. I felt like they were just out to pad their bill, not fix my car correctly! That will never happen again, now that I have found Auto Authority!Tony at Auto Authority explains EVERYTHING with amazing detail, not only about what is wrong, but why it is significant! Then, he and his staff do the job right. Every time. I needed tires and Tony explained how cheap tire shops have a goal of getting your tires installed as quickly and cheaply as possible. But by paying his crew an additional 0.1 hours of labor, I know the tires and rims are well cleaned and completely ready for the tire installation. Small price to pay to get it done right.I also took my son's car to Auto Authority shortly after we bought it in 2020. It's a 2006 Acura. After looking at it, Tony called and spent 40 minutes telling me what he found and the significance of each repair. I want this car to last until my son graduates college, and with it under the watchful eye of Tony and Auto Authority, I have no doubt we will get there!Tony will fix the car according to your needs and wants. If you have a car that you want to nurse for a few thousand miles until you are ready to trade it in, for example, I bet Tony can make that happen, too!I know you can find less expensive shops for automotive work. I used to go to them, too! But you get what you pay for! Auto Authority is simply the best! Go see Tony. Tony is amazing to work with. I have been a customer for over 15 years and have never had a problem. Tony and his staff work for me to keep my 2001 vehicle on the road and safe. I have never fail an emissions test. I took my car here based on the recommendation of a co-worker. I ve lived in Crystal Lake for over 20 years, and I m upset I haven t gone here sooner!Tony was straight forward and transparent regarding what my car needed (and didn t).
