They came out during a snow storm and got me off the freeway! They really saved the night and the trip. I was just passing through town when I broke down in the middle of the night and they got my car to the shop and really went above and beyond by getting us information on available hotels and rental cars in the area. Absolutely wonderful service and really helped bring a lot of the stress down from being stuck in the cold. Thank you guys again so much!!!

My daughter was stuck and needed to get her vehicle clear across town and had bad weather coming and then showed up and was fast and efficient and respectful of my daughter and her vehicle I would definitely recommend Bill and Joe's to anyone and will be using them when I need

Terrible service. After my dad died of cancer I used them for a tow on his truck to bring it home. They convinced me they d be able to work on it and get it running for me so I could actually use it. They ve had the truck since March of 23 and it s now October of 23. Only things that needed replaced were the brake lines and fuel lines. Every time I ve called they say they re waiting on parts for 7 months I don t think so Services: Car towing, Brakes, Fuel delivery

Never been treated so horribly by someone who is supposed to be a professional. After I was in a car accident which totaled my vehicle and body, they would not let me get my belongings from my vehicle, then after my lawyer called them, I was able to get my belongings and all of my tools were stolen that were in the back hatch area of my car. They were covered by a large picture and my backseat was folded down so I have no doubt that someone from Bill & Joe's stole my expensive tools because my car was nowhere else. I would deter anyone and everyone from ever using this place. They are disrespectful thieves!!!

Absolutely disgusting business practices done by this company. A man took his life, you impound his car and then try to charge his family a thousand of dollars in storage over a couple of days?! Whoever made this call should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. The same thing happened when my dad died. He died in a car accident about 2 mi from the tow truck company. It sat for 2 days and they wanted $700 (on top of outlandish towing fees) to release the vehicle and the contents of the vehicle. The vehicle was totaled and there might have been a couple of hundred worth of tools in there but really I was looking for a coin that he kept on his person every day of his life that wasn't found. Well I didn't have the $700, I didn't even know how I was going to take care of my dad's funeral because he didn't have the money when he died. They wouldn't even let me look through it Even after telling them about the coin. Needless to say the vehicle was left there along with everything that my dad owned in it. Eff businesses like this. Absolutely disgusting.

My wife's brother took his life last week and the car was impounded by Bill & Jokes Terrible Towing Service. We traveled from Florida to handle all of the arrangements and legalities associated with his death. It took several days to get the death certificate and release on the car from the police. We came to get the car after documents were acquired. Towing company wanted to hit us with a $75 per day impound fee... Over $1000 to get the car back. It's a 2007 Toyota Corolla. We were willing to pay tow fees and some storage...but not $1000... We are in the midst of burying her last sibling and the tow company refuses to work with us.... even in the worst circumstances... So we were forced to leave a perfectly working vehicle behind. These people have no heart or soul....if they actually did..we would have her brothers property vs their need to profit during a families worst time.Service: Car towing

Spoke with Barry who told me to talk with Matt and the Cottage Hills shop. They were great . I had a tire that was losing air fast and my normal place couldnt get me in. I needed it plugged or patch. I told them I had nitro in my tires and only place that carries it is the dealership. Matt plugged my tire so quickly, I barely lost any air. I was in and out in 15 min and only payed $20. Will certainly be going back.Service: Tires

I called this morning for my daughter, she was stuck along side the road in East Alton. The dispatcher I spoke with was super friendly and helpful. The tow truck driver was there within minutes and was super great with my daughter. Price was very reasonable as well. Thanks to Bill and Joe's for great service. So, nobody ever thinks needing a tow truck is something that will become repetitive. I have had to call one several times and for a few situations because of my Mazda I had. Everyone I dealt with has always been very understanding of how sensitive the situation has been. Recently My newest car unfortunately had the clutch go out. Here I am on the side of the road and who am I gonna call? Bill and Joe's of course. In any other situation it would of been ghost busters but....Not this one..And I'm a talker. I got to have the owner bring me home. He's pretty cool and listened to my babbling all the way home. I think I told him my whole life story and hope he doesn't further bill me. Thanks again and see you soon for the tow to fix the car

Thank you for your swift and prompt service! We called a few businesses in the area to remove an abandoned vehicle on the parking lot for Amazon, and not only did they remove the vehicle but they offered a variety of services to our associates stranded on the lot. My sister became stranded at a nearby rest area. I was in a different state trying to help her. It was very late at night. I called and Steve was SO helpful. He answered my questions with respect. He gave me options. As I was talking to him, he was texting his worker and arranging for him to go help my sister. I was able to pay over the phone for any service she needed.My sister later explained that the worker brought his fianc�. She called a few hotels and negotiated a lower rate for my sister, asked my sister where she wanted to stay, and then called and reserved the room for her.The next morning, they got to work on my sister's car right away. They were in communication with her about the progress. Steve called me as I had asked to take care of the bill and again, I was able to pay over the phone. He was getting ready to bring the car to my sister at her hotel.I explained about his worker bringing his fianc� and how much I appreciated that. He said, "yep, that was on purpose. we have moms, aunts, sisters, and nieces. we know what they go through and we try to be aware of what will help a single woman be more comfortable."I recommend this place to the highest degree possible. Thank you for everything you did to help my sister and for helping me know that she was safe and her car was being taken care of, for getting her safely to a hotel, and for bringing the car to her the next day.Very female-friendly! Very rude people, cussed me out because they think they can show up whenever they want without an appointment, driver was very aggressive and hit the glass door on our building then got in his truck and started flipping me off...very unprofessional bunch...DO NOT USE!!! POOR BUSINESS EXPERIENCE!! UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO GIVE THEM ONE STAR OR IT WOULDNT LET ME POST, OTHERWISE THEY WOULDNT HAVE GOTTON ANY!Service: Special vehicle towing

I am super pleased with them. I was on my way home from Christmas with out of town family and my wheel bearing failed. I called them for a tow, the tow operator was super helpful and quick to get me picked up (even on Christmas night). I had not even thought to check to see if I had roadside assistance but the driver verified on my insurance card and found I did, so he saved me the out of pocket expense. I would strongly recommend to anyone in the area and in need, to give them a try. Just an overall great experience in an otherwise bad situation.Service: Special vehicle towing

The starter went out and battery cable loose at same time. It was a very hot and humid afternoon in August and my mom is 74, he came right away and towed the vehicle and had it fixed the next afternoon. Very pleasant and professional. My driver was Steve and he showed up right on time and got the job done. All the other tow companies wanted to charge way too much but bill and Joe's was really reasonable! I would definitely use them again, if needed and will refer to all my friends! Thanks again for your help

I loved this company , every time I ve had one of my vehicles has an issue , I ve been able to reach somebody and have my car taken care of in less then 30mins , and I mention it was the cheapest tow I ve ever had . I recently had to have a car mechanically fixed there also and was very impressed. Keep up the hard work down there at Bill and Joe s guys.. I highly recommend them !!!

I called for three days straight to get through. Could not leave a message. Then I was told they would come at a certain time. Four hours later I was directed to leave my keys in my vehicle while I slept overnight. When I told them I wasn't comfortable with that they said Fine and hung up on me. I had to call another company.

I don t know if it was Joe or Bill who helped us out today with my husbands truck. But he was so kind and helpful. We were strained and he was ready to tow the truck but checked it first and fixed the problem. Didn t want anything for his time. Awesome experience!!

Tow coordinated by insurance company was assigned to this company. Reached out to them as soon as they were assigned to provide detail on the tow and equipment that may be needed as it is not running. Finally two hours after they were supposed to arrive and multiple contacts later I had to have the insurance company cancel the request and assign another company. Won't be using this company in the future.

I broke down and hit google for local tow companies. Bill and Joes was 1st available to get to me so I went with them. He showed up within 15 to 20min. He than sat inside of his truck for another 15min. I got out and as I approached his truck he flew out cussing stating he had a new driver working for him that has no clue what he is doing as a tow driver. So at this point Im expecting this to go wrong.... but I will spare you the tedious details and basically get to the point. I needed a detailed receipt to get the $100 tow bill covered by my car insurance. I reached out to the owner multiple times and there was always a new excuse on why he couldnt get to it. For example he told me one day in particular he wouldnt have time because he was hanging new tvs. Its been months and this guy will not return a call or send me the receipt that I begged for. I had a bad injury requiring alot of back surgeries and live in constant nerve pain down my leg. I have not held a full time job in 2 yrs and $100 is very precious to me these days. But at the end of the day he just didnt care.

Cost was way lower than other company's in the area. Great service and was quick. The only tow company I will use from now on and the only I would reccomend to others! They sure take care of their clients!! Thank you guys so much!!!!

Expensive for the job.. handicapped friend barely stuck in muddy grass just 40 ft off the road at vfw in cottage hills,IL and charge $140 for 20 minutes work, then unlocked car another $140 for 5 minutes work..

I have used these guys multiple . In an emergency. And in just taking their time. They are very accurate and punctual. They have worked on 2 of my cars as well.
