Adam has made my experience great with Carstar in Columbia. Exceptional customer service, Adam! He s honest, friendly, explains well and trustworthy. The shop fixed my car quickly. They worked directly with the insurance so it was a hassle free service. I had a minor issue with the service and Adam called me back and ensured the right thing is done for me and my car. Adam has leadership potential and should be promoted as the general manager of this shop! Thank you. I ll be back if needed.

Very pleased with my experience here. My Chevy Silverado was hit by an errant driver. The other driver's insurance provider suggested this place due to its location being close to my residence. When I brought it in, Charlie's CARSTAR performed an estimate and communicated with the insurance company. They were professional, very easy to deal with and low pressure. I decided to let them complete the repairs and scheduled a time to bring the truck in. The repair took a couple days longer than they estimated, but that was due to them finding additional repairs to the steering system once they started taking everything apart. They communicated with me the entire time, letting me know it might be a couple days late due to having to order and install the additional parts. When I picked the truck up, the repairs were complete and I was pleasantly surprised to find the truck had been cleaned up inside and out. Truthfully, you wouldn't know the vehicle had been involved in an accident at all. It drives perfectly and looks great. I couldn't be happier with the service I received here. Well done CARSTAR!

I had a great experience at Charlie s CARSTAR Columbia! They did a an amazing job fixing the damage on my Mach-E. Adam was very helpful dealing with Enterprise rental and the insurance company. Customer service is excellent!

We have used Charlie s CarStar for years. They always do the best work and are always so nice and accommodating. They fixed the hail damage on my car this time and when I got in my car they had cleaned the whole interior! I was so excited and surprised. We have used Charlie's Car Star twice now for accident damage. The whole team is very nice and respectful!! They do a great job and do not cut corners when fixing our vehicles. Staff at their new location are extremely friendly, quick with providing service, and knowledgeable in their craft. Their wait list can be extensive since they are popular. I just went there myself to receive an estimate for an accident and I will have to wait till October for my repair appointment.Their location on N Main is no longer their current location either. It s 1845 Ghent Rd in Columbia. The address change is currently under review as of this post.

Waited over over 2 month after I was toldwhat repair could run. I waited to get my car fixed then when I take it in carstar they totalled it . Because they said price increase on the parts from when I had the estimate over 2 month ago . Allstate was good at the estimate then Charle slapped on almost 500 more dollars for a small crack in the head light assembly. They work with the insurance that was going to pay for the repair . Well what do you know ,!!! They Took broken parts loose totalled it and just crammed the broken part together and closed the hood the head light fell out and I ran over it on the way home.Service: Auto body & trim repair

Charlie's Car Star in Columbia, Illinois provided the best service ever! Office manager Dee was very nice and Rob-mechanic that did the work on my vehicle, they both were very professional from the beginning to the end of transactions with them. I would recommend this shop to every person I know for any service they provide. My car initially went to the shop because it had received quite a beaten on highway 255 from all the construction going on and a few things got discovered along the way, however Rob was very patient with me (although he was giving me timelines on what had to be done, I was calling every other day inquiring on the status and he never seemed bothered by my calls- although I'm not recommending you do that). I was very pleased with the outcome of the work and the paint job makes my car look like new. Very pleased with the results of my car. Had to take it in to be repaired after someone backed into my car and dented it. Quick estimate didn't keep me there long waiting. Got me in to do the work in a couple of days and had my car finished when they said it would be ready. They did a fantastic job you can't tell anything ever happen to it. Will use them again if I ever am in need of their services again. Everyone was very nice and place was very clean.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
