Verns auto repair is a fantastic mechanic. Truly professional auto care with the manners and skill to back it up. Never left disappointed or had anything I had to go back for. You can tell they are ready to help and will get the job done.

Everyone I spoke with was all amazing! My car went out on me on a Sunday, Monday morning I called 3 other places before Verns and everyone else had a 2+ week wait, verns referred an excellent towing company that was quick to come get my car, they had the part needed already and I had my car back by Wednesday morning! Prices were great too!

We just moved to IL and got lucky to find an excellent mechanic right away. Vern s was amazing! Personalized service! The customer service was great as well as the work done. We felt like he put us first! His prices were honest and reasonable! And he only recommended necessary items to be completed for our car. We already feel we can trust him and will always go there and refer people there! Excellent job Vern s, this is how it is supposed to be! Unfortunately you and your shop are a rare breed!

A great mom and pop shop. Their high google rating led me to get my trucks needs met there. I was impressed with Russ work ethic and communication skills. He did everything he said he would, quickly and at the price he quoted!

Always great service, very friendly, extremely fair prices, great availability, quick, and more! I have recommended all of my friends and family to see Russ! In just our family, we have had breaks done, tires replaced, and an alternator replaced. He always has quick turnaround. If not getting you in and out the same day, it has been 24 hours! Would DEFINITELY recommend!!

Russ is the absolute best! He was very accommodating and went out of his way to work with me and my insurance company. He did great work for honest price. I will be back for anymore mechanical needs, and already recommended 2 friends.

I recently took my Mazda into Vern s for some extensive work. Russ is absolutely amazing, very professional and personable. He kept me updated about all the repairs as he was completing the work. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to him and I will go back there if I ever need any more work in the future. AAA+

When my brakes needed urgent attention, I gave Vern's a call. Russ got me in the next business day. He provided a prompt and very reasonable estimate. He was professional, friendly, and patiently answered all my questions. My car was finished that same day, and it is running great.

New first choice - I took my car here rather than my first choice because I had an emergency repair needed that other shops were not able to accommodate under short/no notice. Vern was able to get me in right away and did a lot he didn't have to do to help me out. This will now be my first choice! Amazing customer service, very friendly, and fair prices. Really relieved a lot of anxiety!

Known the owner of the shop since I was just a kid. Replaced my brakes and rotors today and I plan on returning for future service. If you're curious about what auto shop you can trust, and has good prices, you really don't need to look any further from here.

My experience with Vern's has been super good. I have been taking vehicles there for atleast 10 years, Russ is a great mechanic and gives my family great customer service and reasonable pricing as well. I highly recommend Verns for all of your car care!

Verne's Auto Repair is a superior shop highly recommended to me by friends. Russ and son are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and work on my Buick and Corvette. They're time efficient, informative and very reasonable in cost. I highly recommend this shop for car repairs.

I bought an old BMW convertible with lotsa miles, & took it to Vern's to find out what it needed. He did not suggest all the repairs that another mechanic had said I needed. He prioritized the issues & made recommendations, & gave me his estimate. Then, later, when he found out one of the parts he ordered was unnecessary, he called to let me know the bid he'd given me was too high! Imagine that! What an honest, competent, personable mechanic we have in Russ. I am an older woman who knows nothing about cars & have to hire someone I can trust. It isn't always so easy, finding a trustworthy & extremely extremely competent & professional mechanic. You won't be sorry if you take your car to Russ, at Vern's. Lee Ann, Edwardsville

I'm not sure why labor was so expensive, since they really didn't do anything but hand-screw an ignition housing. They left my broken window all the way down (I guess propping it up would've really set them back), and my hood latches open, in an open parking lot, and I was charged nearly $150. I'd recommend youtube.

I had a mechanic that I had been going to to several years but had to close his shop. I took a chance on Russ and am very pleased. Russ is very polite, very knowledgeable, and has integrity. Very pleased with his work.

They changed the brakes on my Ford F-150. 2 weeks later my brakes started grinding due to a faulty brake pad from the manufacturer. They replaced the rotor and all new brake pads all at no cost and in no time at all. Can't recommend these guys enough. Great service and very helpful

Russ the mechanic is the very best mechanic I ve taken my car too. We thought my engine was deceased because of flood water, but he got it running beautifully with no problems! I recommend Vern s 100%

Great job doing a mini cooper clutch! Drives like new and was great price for a difficult import. Also fantastic service and most honest and understanding mechanic we've ever dealt with.

Finally found a mechanic to take all my stuff to. Honest, Quick, and more than fair. Had a wheel bearing and axle done that ended up being a bit more of a job than was supposed to. He got it done quickly, and even stuck to the original quote. Gained a customer, and all of my family around here as well.

Vern's took me in with no notice and a flat tire. I was taken care of immediately and the next morning I was called with the best deal on a new tire. I will recommend Vern's to everyone.

Fixed my car in one day , called and kept me informed about what repairs I needed and the cost to repair and didn't try to repair things unneeded , I will be taking my other cars there from now on!! I was very satisfied with Vern's

Vern was already slammed and working by himself. He took the time to come check out something on my truck. He was able to access it in a matter of a second. Something that was causing me serious headache and I saw more problems ahead. He just fixed it right there on the spot. In matter of 10 seconds. That help me get back on my way to Ga. Thanks again !!!

I could not be more satisfied with the customer service and work I had done at Vern's Pro Car Care. Vern's went above and beyond what one would expect to keep the cost of the repair as low as they could without cutting corners on quality of service and parts. Also much to my surprise Vern's sell name brand tires that is competitive with the prices at Walmart. Vern's is going to be my go to auto repair shop, and also where I will be buying my tires. Check 'em out before you go elsewhere, you'll be glad you did. Semper Fi
