I decided to go to Meineke for an oil change after receiving coupons in the mail. I liked the ease of making an appointment online, plus there was a coupon for an additional $5.00 off for using online scheduling. Unfortunately I was not allowed to use this coupon regardless of the fact that it stated it could be used with other coupons. I was told it was up to the owner and the owner doesn t allow two coupons to be used. When I stated that this was misleading advertising and asked for my coupon back, I was told no, it had to be stapled to my invoice. So other than the ridiculous treatment surrounding coupons, and the loud music, and the cigarette smoke choking me in the waiting room, my car does have fresh oil and is good for 3,000 more miles.

I wasn't gonna, but they asked me twice for my review, so here it is. I usually have a decent experience with these guys, and they do a pretty good job overall, but I normally deal with a different service manager. Meineke has done a LOT of work on my car... like, a lot...THOUSANDS of dollars. I could kick myself for it because I could've bought a whole new vehicle (I just love this one). This particular service manager was abrupt, arrogant, and would not look me in the eye. I hate that. He seemed irritated when I'd call to ask about their progress. He said it was a 3 hour job, but it took them 2 days. Had this particular service manager told me this initially, I wouldn't have wasted my time "bothering" him. His communication skills are beyond subpar. Idk if it's because I'm a woman, but he should fix that attitude. He got another $700 outta me. He's welcome.

Beware of this place s money-hungry tactics. I experienced a warning light for my car s battery and was lured in by this shop s high ratings. However, the owner, without any inspection, hastily concluded that the alternator was the issue and quoted a steep $800 for replacement. I only requested a simple battery test, for which he tried to charge $40. This raised red flags for me, so I sought second opinions. Other shops not only quoted around $400 for an alternator replacement but also insisted on a proper inspection before any diagnosis. Fortunately, I chose another service, where they discovered it was merely a loose connection. My battery and alternator were perfectly fine. Had I not been cautious, I would ve unnecessarily spent $800 here. I strongly advise against using this shop s services based on my experience. Their approach seems more focused on profit than honest service.

I was driving to California from Nj with my wife and kids and had car trouble. Brad and his associates were awesome!! Very nice people took care of us even tho it took 2 hrs after they were already closed. Such a blessing 5 stars!! Thank you so much

I really like Meineke on Beltline. The mechanics know what they are doing and so far, I have used them for my transmission and brakes. They do a full inspection of your car and send it to you in writing. They also take Car Shield insurance which is a definite plus for those of us that have that insurance.

I had called to see what the price would be for doing the work that my car needed to have down to pass emission testing. The first gentleman was very kind and helpful I called back to get a price is that was not given to me to begin with. When I called the second time I was on hold quite some time after I gave the information to the second gentleman, he came back to the phone and asked me what year my car was again. I did not feel too confident about taking my car to that Meineke if a person can't even remember or write down the year of the car that he's inquiring about.

I was thrilled with the service I received here. I was passing through town and my windshield wipers stopped working on a very rainy day. I was on my way with working wipers swiftly. Great service! Fair and honest.

I took My car to meneike. I told him what the problem was.he told me.his gonna run his own diagnostic. He said he fix it.took my money from me .on the same day I took the car .half way to go to work .my light engine turn on.uf u really have a serious problem with your car.please do not take it over there.they will take your money. Left you empty handed.and u still have to fix ur car.because they did not fix the will problem.they are a ripped off..

It was a great one the person i dealt with really took great care of me and gave me a real peace of mind and know that i was a return customer and recognized my chevy impala they got straight to work on it that made me feel important. And got my car fixed and back on the road thank you again

The guys at Meineke Belleville repaired the timing belt tensioner in my car and made sure everything was fully-functional before returning it. Everything works perfectly now. I recommend seeing them.

Very unprofessional and money hungry. Brought my car in and asked for a transmission flush after my neighbor who works on cars looked at car and told me what the issue was. I was told by Meineke that I didn't need a transmission flush but a new transmission and they were trying to charge $7200 for a used transmission and $9000 for a new one to replace. I then asked if they can just flush the transmission fluid and replace that and they refused. They even told me that transmission fluid and everything looked fine and that I just needed a new transmission. I took my car home and bought everything I needed to flush and change transmission fluid myself and now car is running perfect and my transmission was not bad just needed a flush. They also tried to charge me $120 just to look at my car but when I refused to pay for a transmission they let me take my car home without charging me anything. I'm convinced they did not even look at the car and was just trying to get money out of me. I took pictures of my dirty transmission filter and pan which was filthy and oil was black with metal in it after they told me it was fine. If I could give 0 stars I would.

charging my son 380 for them to put his own stuff on. It was 250 for 1 muffler but then jack it up another hundred and 30 when he bought his own muffler in.

I asked them to do a bench job that all the other shops in Collinsville refused.I need a new ball joints stamped in my lower control arms. Pricing for said bench job was great. Manager on duty was awesome. I would definitely go back to this location. Must have made some changes in management. I've had some issues with this location in the past.

The manager is rude and money hungry. He tried to charge me $495 for rear brake hose that only cost $45 so I assume the labor cost was $400 for 2 bolts to be replaced. After I told him I no longer wanted them to make the repair he laughed in my face.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Had them install a cat back system on my truck and they did a great job and at a great price. They said it would take an hour and that's what it took. They wanted to charge me $500 in labor for an hours worth of work. All I needed was a new muffler. After the fact, I bought a good, new muffler, tailpipe, and resonator pipe online for $200 including tax and shipping. After a little bit of research, it's a very easy job and will only take me an hour tops to do myself. They wanted to charge me $750 to do the job. The vehicle inspection and diagnosis was good but charging over $500/hour in labor is not good at all. Do not go.Services: Auto exhaust system repair, Vehicle Inspection

Was not on time with finishing the oil change services. Did not call or notify me ahead of time before closing, sent only a text 30 minutes before closing when my car was dropped off to them around 1:30pm. The workers close the shop I could not get my car until the next day had to miss work. I was very upset and then when I got my car back they did not want to top my fluids I will never go back. I use to think they where the best that's why I travel 30 minutes to get their services.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Oil change

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Brought my son's car in to have an exhaust leak fixed. They had the car in the bay within 10 minutes and had the new gasket and bolts on in no time!

I had them change the oil and filter and do a tire rotation in the morning. I was happy with their service. But later that day after letting my car sit off for a while, I checked the oil to find it was 1 quart low! I keep oil just in case I need it. So I just added my own oil. But I was disappointed they shorted me 1 quart of oil.Update!So I decided to change the air filter on my daughter's car just a few days after paying meineke to change the oil and discovered the oil filler tube that connects to the valve cover was broken! I know it was not broken before I took it to them. I hate to say it, since it was so convenient, but I will not be using meineke anymore.Service: Oil change

Came into the shop with a large staple in my tire causing a leak. They said it was not able to be repaired and put my spare on while charging me for that, but then I go to a second shop and they repaired it for less of a cost than just getting the spare put on. Not great service but then just wanting to get money trying to sell a new tire.

I told the service rep and tech that I wanted a price for straight pipe on my truck and a price for muffler as well.They called after I dropped it off and said that they did not do straight pipes, they should have told me this when I dropped it off. Then they tell me that an after market magnaflo system for my truck was going to be 780.00. Or I could get an o.e system that would last 10 years for 750.00, so I went with the o eI pick up my truck , they tell me they installed a magnaflo and it had a warranty of 1 year, for 750.00So they are a little shady!

I love the staff and the manager of this location is awesome. I was their getting my car fixed and they got it done pretty quickly. The manager is very professional, while i was their a customer came in and had a attitude because, she wanted her oil change right then and their and didn't want to wait her turn so she proceeded to yell and him and use fowl language. He politely ask her to leave the store and was able to keep his cool. I actually was very impressed with his attitude and it didn't change his mood.Services: Exhaust, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, A/C installation & repair
