They did my wife's alignment and rotate upon my request. Drives 1000 times better. If there ever is a job I'm not capable of doing myself ill always take it to Master Auto Repair off Vandali in Collinsville. Thanks guys!

I was recommended to this place thru AAA. alternator problem in my 2017 chevy malibu. I was at work and had it towed there. They did diagnostic and quickly found the alternator problem. (Which was supposedly replaced the friday before) they replaced the alternator and recommended certain ideas why the problem occurs so often. Good with answering the phone when needed and seemed knowledgeable about newer vehicles.

They got me in right away. Diagnosed my problems that other merchanics missed and my car hasn't run this good in years. Will be coming back in the future. Reasonably priced for the amount of work they did as well. Thank you Master Auto Repair.

I cannot thank these guys enough. Traveling and had something in the tire. I looked up AAA tire repair and they were the first to answer the phone. Took us right in and repaired the tire. Kudos.

Fast and reliable service. Staff was extremely professional and the owners are just downright great people. They accommodated us after a blow out tire in Missouri. They where able to work on the car immediately allowing the remainder of our day to be spent elsewhere.

Staff is friendly, the work is efficient, and the price seems about right. I've been here twice, both for a Fiat 500, and despite the difficult nature of this delicate machine they have managed to fix it and keep it going. The only thing I regret now is buying a Fiat, but I don't regret bringing it here. With any luck, I won't be back but if I have a problem I know where to go. Note: pay with cash or debit because credit cards have a % charge fee.

Master Auto Repair was recommended by a friend. I spoke with a mechanic before I brought my car to the shop, explaining that I'm not in a hurry, I just don't want to over pay. After a quick analysis, engine was unrepairable, costing $98. I wish I would have been told upfront that was cost to look at the vehicle. Also beware of the 2.5% fee accessed for using a credit card, thank fully I used debit. I would recommend going somewhere else, I wish I had.

I have taken my car to Master Auto Repair several times and have always had excellent service. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. I have never had a difficult time getting an appointment and they have always worked with my schedule. I haven't had to use their loaner car service as yet but it is a great feature!My parents use them also and have always been pleased with the work they do.

Absolutely the best auto repair I have ever been to. I live almost an hour away but will drive to this location because the service is so amazing. They didn't replace my brakes even though I was told by another shop months ago my brakes were coming due in a few months. The guys at Master Auto Repair looked at them and told me the TRUTH was that I had over 50% life on all of my brakes. Just absolutely standup business people. Won't go anywhere else. Extremely great pricing to boot!

Unfortunately, I am travelling back to NJ from New Mexico and the car went down in Collinsville on Monday. Where I get the car to Masters..Their attitude is good, asked if you have seen any warning sign on the car like engine light is on? I replied no, except the TPMS light sometimes is on.. So they checked up and told me the AC is broken and lead the drivr belt broken.. Needs to replace everything and will cost $2,080. Which takes an extra day to do so. The next day afternoon I was told they cannot finish it on time will be on Wednesday morning, so I have to stay in the hotel again. When I get to them on Wednesday afternoon and wait there trying to get the car, they found a new problem and has to take another day and will cost 500 more, I declined as I have a meeting schedule in NY on Friday and I get the car on Thursday morning.I hit up on road and after 4 hours driving I noticed the engine light was on, so I called them today and they replied:"We didn't checkup the engine so we have no idea"So why I am supposed to pay $2,080 plus Four days waiting in the hotel and then I had to take the car to another auto repair company anyway??I hate to write the negative comment but I have no idea what else I can do with my situation.

I have had both of my cars serviced at Master Auto Repair and have found the staff very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The repairs were made while I waited and were timely. They would have given me a loaner car had I wanted or needed one, but as it turned out, I had the time to wait. Not many shops will do that today. I also appreciate the free roadside assistance for 12 months since my last service, and the coupons for a discount on my next service. I will definitely be back!

I have been around several different shops in Collinsville, and this is the only place where I feel I was treated fairly and with respect. My car had an issue that could have easily been exaggerated and I would have never known the difference. They charged me fifty bucks for something I was expecting to pay five or six hundred for. These guys are honest and do an excellent job. I will be recommending them to whomever needs a car repair. Thanks again guys !

I would not go anywhere else to have all 4 of my cars worked on! Master Auto Repair is fantastic! They are professional and friendly putting the customer first. They don't pressure you into getting things fixed, they explain what the problem is and what your options are. They are honest. Love going where everyone knows your name!!Another bonus is they have loaner cars. When you call to make an appointment they are pretty quick to accommodate you and your schedule! Can't attest to quality of work because they cancelled, but their scheduling is horrid. Emailed prior to inquire about an alignment costs. Was given a rough quote. Showed up and setup an appointment a week prior. Scheduled to have work off. They called me a day before to let me know that other "big jobs" came in and stated they would call me in a week to reschedule. They never did, so i went to Ralph and Sons and had the work done same day for a better price. Wont be using these guys.

quick and reliable. Had my bearings blow out. They set me up with a tow and then found that my sway bar was cracked. Informed me of the problem and had my truck fixed in 2 days. Also found the best deal on parts. My vehicle will only go to this shop for everything from tires to repairs. Trustworthy buisiness in my opinion. Love these Guys

We were visiting from out of town and we ended up with a shredded tire. They found us when the match and fit us in their busy schedule to get it swapped out in less than a day. We are very grateful for them fitting us in their busy schedule and getting us on our way!

They have new management and I find their service great for me since I have only 1 vehicle and they offer free loaners. I recently switched from a 96 saturn station wagon to a hybrid and needed some breakwork done. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are honest and the work is great quality. I also had a maintenance light that needed checked. They had everything fixed and ready the same day. I was called each step of the way. I would highly recommend Master Auto Repair.

Great people work here. I took in an old 1972 351C block because of some stuck bolts I couldn't get with my tools at home. They got it off with no problem, they didn't charge me for anything. I had planned on paying for the use of the tool and a few minutes but they wouldnt let me. Definitely where I am taking my business from now on.

I was quoted 98.00 got diagnostic fee,after 2 days they called and said it would be 409 more dollars to just diagnosis the problem! It was a check engine light and wanted ,500 dollars to find out what's wrong. Thru never figured out the problem but still insisted I pay the 98.00 dollar fee for no information! Terrible device the manager told me to call the news and tell them because he lives being in the news! Stay away!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Not only are they professional, they know you by name. One of the things I like is they offer a courtesy car if you need one. This is a big selling point with me. Plus, they don't pressure you into getting things fixed. They explain what the problem is and explain your options. They are honest people. When they do an oil change, they will look over your car and let you know what things you may want to be made aware of. They currently work on all 4 of my families cars. GREAT PEOPLE. GREAT BUSINESS.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Setting an appointment was quick and my services were complete in a reasonable amount of time. I walked to a nearby restaurant for breakfast and it was done shortly after I had finished my meal.
