This guy definitely knows how to scam people. Guy sold me a 2007 for 7k. I ve almost spent 7k in repairs, and it s gotten to the point where I have to sell the car now because the problems won t stop. He knew my situation, and took advantage. Terrible guy, bad cars, and at an even worse price. Dang near 14k for the car and repairs is completely outrageous. Looking to buy a car? Go anywhere but here. This guy will scam you with a smile on his face. Solely In it for the money, and that s not good considering he s selling vehicles to people. You d think you re getting sold a safe and reliable car.. think again. Not even the worst part, he knew I was a foster kid. If he ll scam a foster kid, he ll scam you too. Ron, your shady business needs to be dismantled immediately. I m a kid who has no one to just give him a car. I worked hard at Burger King, saved up money, just to buy a hunk of junk from your scrapyard. As an 18 year old who has no car now, ya ll disrespected me straight to my face.

If you read my other reviews, you should find that I m trust worthy and honest. The people at Kennedi are awesome. I went in and left with a car in less than 20 mins and although I was lied to by a dealer thats no longer there, they agreed to honor it. I won t buy a car from anyone else. Ya ll have to understand the car business just is what it is, the difference is Kennedi doesn t charge ANY interest so you pay the sticker or less. Period. Other dealerships charge mad interest and other fees. I got a cute lil red ford focus. It s old, a lot of miles but it gets on the highway and A to be and even C with no problems. Sure it has a few issues but you get what you pay for and they gave me what I asked for which was an A to B car just for that moment. They also fixed one of the issues. No questions asked. I m going back in the next couple of weeks to buy something newer and keeping my little focus as a back up. I ll update with photos later.

This place is horrible! My 21 yr old who is autistic bought his first car here a month ago. They were told of his situation by my wife. He looked at cars for about two weeks and didn't find anything that he liked. All the sudden the showed him a car that they had and the price was in his range. He loved it and bought it. Took almost a week to get them to finish the sale. Car didn't make it more than a week. Been a month now and it's still ithe shop. We are at 6000 in repairs and still going higher. They say sorry can't help ya!

Ok, so I will start this by saying that one bad attitude salesman shouldn't have the ability to ruin what looked to be a well established used car lot but it did... I don't think he even introduced himself before he barrage us with rude, rapid fire questions and was so off-putting that I could do nothing but leave... Worst used car salesman ever

Please please do not ever purchased a car from Kennedy auto sales. Their cars are worthless, lemon car. My son purchased a car from them less than a month. The motor goes out. The car is worthless. I wish my son would have informed me he was going there. I WOULD HAVE TOLD HIM NOT TO GO THERE. EVERY BODY complained about KENNDI AUTO SALES. His firstexperiences dealing with a car dealer turns out to be terrible!!!

Good company to do business with. Was looking for a reasonably priced used car. Kevin said to look around and when we saw something we liked, let him know. NO high pressure sales. We found a car, he worked the numbers and the price quoted was all inclusive. And, it was a good price. I highly recommend this business and Kevin.

I give them 4 stars because of their willingness to fix everything I bought a 2005 grand prize that had mechanical issues Ronnie my sales person put in overtime to get me switched over into another vehicle which was a nice 2009 Chevy impala he worked diligently to get the problem fixed I can t speak for other but my experience was somewhat stressful but he put in the work to get it taken care of

My son purchased a truck from Kennedi in Collinsville. He paid in full for the vehicle the day we picked it up. We ve waited almost 2 months for the title to show up and when it hadn t come yet, we called Kennedi only to find out they ve been hanging onto the title they received back from the state and a spare key. We ve never received a phone call that the title was there or that they still had a spare key. Seems like really poor customer service at best and possibly some really shady business practices at worst.

This place is scummy - I went there to help find an economy car for a female friend. We had one selected and Kevin promised to make a few small repairs and replace the tires. The following Saturday we returned with the expectation of the promises being kept and we were disappointed. The car was completely unchanged. Kevin told me the tires did not need replaced and tried to play it off as if it was all good. We wasted our time with this dealership. On the way out, Kevin said he would sell us a different car for a very low price (obviously a lie). I said would look at it and when I doubled back to get the keys from him, he said that we are difficult to do business with and refused to sell us a car.We found a MUCH better deal at Cartopia in south city that very same day!!!

Sure I know these are used car salesman but if you have a service center it would be good to make sure the vehicle your customer leaves with can at least be driven for a few months without problems. Then the service department is overbooked and double booked. I wish I would have went back to Rafferty Automotive because at least they took care of the customer. Don't go here unless you want take your car to a mechanic shop as soon as you drive off the lot.

Bought a car from them and so far it's a nice car! Kevin was super nice. Wasn't a huge fan of the owner/manager. He didn't seem to want to be there. But the car is great! Everyone complaining or leaving low reviews are probably people who bought the cheap cars and aren't very nice people anyway. I got to witness first had the type of "clients" that go there.

Ron and Kevin are talkers and will tell you anything for a sale. They are terrible people!!! Do not do business with them. We put a large cash down payment down, had financial issues, and were not able to buy the vehicle. We went to get our money back and Ronald Cornstubble and "Too tall" Kevin said they could not give us our cash, that they did not have it. They told us to come back tomorrow and they would give us a check. asked if we wanted a newer loaded car for cheaper then what we were going to get. wanted to keep our money!! Went back and they said they would have to give us cash once they sold cars and got the cash back. Are you freaking kidding me? I told them they had to give us our money back. I told them we were going to get legal and police involved because they are stealing our money. Kevin then said he could no longer talk to me since I said "legal". Ronald would not answer the phone and Voicemail box was full! My husband had to go to their parent company in Cahokia to finally get our money back. These people are horrible!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

Sales staff are genuinely friendly and honest from my experience. My family has purchased several used cars from them as first time vehicles and more modest daily drivers. Service department is very helpful though they can get very busy at times and it can effect the quality of their work.Update: when I purchased thw vehicle a door handle didn't work but they agreed to paint and fix the door handle. After about a week I get a call to bring the vehicle in so they can install it. Fantastic, I swing by so they can replace the door handle and come to find out it's not painted. All parties involved knew it needed to be painted but it wasn't coordinated with the service department apparently. They tell me they can paint it in a few hours come back later and they'll install it. No problem. Come back and because the humidity the paint job is messed up. It's an older car that's seen a couple of tours through some rough parking lots so it's fine, whatever. They install the handle and it function checks good.Next morning I'm driving to work and my window doesn't work. I take off my door panel and they did not reconnect any of my electrical connections. Not the power windows, the courtesy light, locks, nothing. Very irritating. That's two stars. When my license plates come in and I go to install them I learn I have another problem. The nut rivet came loose on the license plate fastener and instead of taking the panel off and holding with a pair of piers they tried to cut it bolt head off. Realizing that wasn't going to work, they throw in the towel and take a self tapping sheet metal screw through the body of my vehicle that will eventually rust out. So now I get the pleasure of fixing that job aswell. One star.

I purchased a car on April 20th 2021. I gave them a down payment of 1,300 towards a 5,564.45 total. I do not know much about cars, so I took my uncle who also does not know much about cars but knows what to ask. We test drive the car but not far. We told the man we liked the car and asked him multiple times if there was anything wrong the car. He said there was nothing wrong with it except for an o2 censor and speed sensor for the front wheel. Along with some cosmetic issues which was fine. The last 2 weeks my car battery died which was fine. Then a pully on my engine became disconnected. Also the mechanic said their is evidence that it has been flooded. I told them this and asked for a refund they said no so I have lost a total of 1300 for my down payment and 200 on the battery. Advise you not to business here ever.

I've put $3500 down. I'm going on my 3rd transmission in 3weeks I've had the car. After charging me 300 to tow and replace fluids but no warranty on the replaced transmission. NO warranty on car Sold as Is. Now they want $2000 more to fix my car. I drove it for a day and the transmission overheated. The single mom in the service department says it happened to her too. Why u still work for these low life bottom feeders. These people need to be shut down!

Terrible! I originally got my car from these sharks, I unfortunately moved away out of state and must I remind everyone that I had the intentions on paying and grabbing my bill of sale along with catching up on my car payment in person, unfortunately due to bank issues and me not having a physical debit card at the time to pay via debit, these people HELD ME HOSTAGE ALONG WITH MY GF even after I ve asked them do they take any other form of payments for me to pay them. They are ruthless I was told over the phone NICELY we can help you with your bill of sale once I get there it was a lot of talking in the back room and finally the manager comes out to ask me was I expecting to make a payment? Well duhhhh I just told these people I was intending to get caught up along with my bill of sale. The whole staff cornered MY car that I was intending to pay for anyway but I guess they wanted me to pay the way they wanted me to pay! They refused to take a bank draft after I ve told these people I drove 10 hrs away and no longer live local, they held me hostage for about 3 hrs just for me attempting to get caught up and get my tags. I literally had to physically push one out of the way before they allowed me to leave the lot! This is very illegal, so therefore I did try and leave and they threatened to press charges. I will be getting a lawyer on the situation for harrassment . OH! And by the way the bank that i bank with wasn t local in missouri nor Illinois area

If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. This was the worst car buying experience either my husband and I have ever had. We put a deposit on a car, and they were fixing a few things for us. However the day to pick it up kept getting pushed back. It got to the point we were wondering if we were ever going to see this car again! We finally went and got our deposit back. The salesman we'd been working with kept trying to backtrack and things he was saying we're starting to not make sense. It seemed most of their vehicles had some sort of issue. Even one of the cars in their showroom had a massive crack in the windshield. Will never be going back.

One of the most shadest! They have no clue of what they have on the lot. Extremely over price on there car's. Drove in from out of town and the car was missing part's broken part's wrong engine for the year. I have a list of things to say. But they are not a good place to buy a car or anything else.

WORST DEALERSHIP YOU COULD EVER PURCHASE FROM. We put $3,000 down on a $7, 000 car. The dealer assured me it was a good car although he never allowed us to go to far in the car. He rushed us through the process of deciding whether or not we wanted it and lied multiple times about the price of the car. Some of their offices don't even have electricity in them. Their roof is falling apart. How can you sell a car when you can barely maintain the upkeep of the building.? Anyways, we drove away with the car, 2 out of the 3 days we actually got to drove the car it was in the shop! They lied and told us that we had a 7 day warranty with the car just to tell us they havent offered warranties in 30 years. The staff is biased and they do not care for your struggles. The financing guy, Jeremy is horrible and has no intention of helping you recieve any money or anything back for your troubles. We lost $3000 to have drove a car for 1 full day and since we've chosen not to keep the car because of all the extra money we would have to invest we still have no transportation. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. !!! THEY ARE LIARS AND SCAM ARTIST!

I called about my car which I took in on Wednesday it s now Friday. They said drop it off for the day. I called everyday about my car and when I called Friday Gary the head of the service department I got yelled at for calling everyday. He screamed at me saying I shouldn t be calling up there everyday. Well I m sorry I need the car that I put 2600 dollars on. He said he would put it back together and I could just come up there at noon and get it. Well first off I m not your kid or a kid so there is no need to scream at me. Second I have two jobs I need to get to. So yeah I wouldn t recommend getting a car here at all. I was trying to get one of my friends to buy from there but no way!

Seeing all of these wonderful deals on carguru I decided to read the reviews. When I read the reviews, I decided to go find out for myself. After driving 30 minutes over the bridge to kennedi Auto sales I was met with a huge parking lot where I would say over 50% of the cars were sitting derelict with flat tires having not been moved for a long time. Not one of the cars that I had seen advertised was on the lot.

COMPLETE FRAUDS! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE THIEVES! I bought a car from them 1/12/18. As part of the deal they agreed to pay the sales tax. When I received my paperwork there was no information regarding the taxes being paid. I called the dealership and was told by the manager that it isn t even possible to have them pay the sales tax and refused to let me speak with my salesman Derek and hung up on me! They scammed me out of almost $500!

Worst car buying experience ever. They claim interest free, but the intetest is in the price often well over any book value. I would never suggest sending anyone to this place. On top of the already over priced sticker I've dumped another 1000 into my vehicle. If you buy a vehicle here make sure you get a 3rd party warranty. Zero doubt you will need it.

This should actually get 0 stars. The staff buys and smokes marijuana right in front of the door. The vehicles are trash and so is the staff. My mother purchased a vehicle from here and it was in violation of the Illinois power train component law. They claim they did an oil change... it had several oil leaks and a busted oil pan. It had fumes filling up the inside of the vehicle from a broke heater core and wires were cut and so the car failed both safety and emissions. End result they tried to send us to their friend repair shop who would charge us half ($3750) of what the dealership was charging. DO NOT... I REPEAT... DO NOT GO HERE TO EVEN SEE IF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE TRUE!!!! THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND!!!

This is has the most fake faced vehicles WARNING DONT BUY!! My vehicle pours water inside, the hatch doesnt work buttons are completely missing the rust was to be taken care of and what I got was what looked like a leaf stuck to my truck and painted white!Paired about 5000.00 too much for something that actually needs scraped.

Worst experience!!!! Sold us a truck that had major transmission problems, within 48 hours. Returned it back to be fixed which cost us $750, and they fraudulently registered it in Missouri and I live in Illinois. So now I'm stuck with a vehicle I can't drive. Ron and Jeremy are two of the biggest CROOKS. Beware of the paperwork. Beware of the Vehicles because they don't inspect them.

The salesman Ron gave me false information about the mileage which was 155xxx on the SUV that I bought. Few days later after buying the SUV I was trying to find out the mileage information so I can buy the warranty from Kennedi Auto Sales but the finance manager told me I no longer can buy the warranty from them because the mileage was 250,000. How am I suppose to be taking care of if Ron lie to me. They trick me big time and very poor customer service. This is a big disappointment and I do NOT recommend buying a car at Kennedi Auto Sale.
