This Dobbs location is always top notch!I always get my car back in a decent time and the service is amazing throughout the entire team. Nick Williams is always my go-to technician, provides me with crucial insight on my vehicle, and has left it running excellently throughout the years. Very appreciative!

We are something of a frequent flier at Dobbs having the various needs of our cars taken care of over the years. And in the 20 years I have been a customer at various locations, I can honestly say that they have never recommended a repair that was not needed.I have a deep respect for everyone at Dobbs, and appreciate the care they take to deliver both good and bad news. The associates are a bargain at twice their salary. Thank you so much for taking care of us!

On February 19, 2024, my daughter and I drove from New Jersey to Missouri. We were unfamiliar with the area. We stopped to eat and our car wouldn t start. We noticed the Dobbs service station and decided to ask for help. Unfortunately our car was parked in another lot but fortunately for us, we met the kindest mechanic who assisted us and reassured us that he could help. He even offered to push the car to the service area if need be. He attempted to jump start the car but to no avail. It was nearing 4pm and they closed at 6 and said they may not get to it until tomorrow, obviously not ideal but not much we could do. They were able to perform a diagnostic and found no issues. They got the car started with no problem. They charged us nothing wished us safe travels and we were on our way! Very grateful that they were there in our time of need and we give them 5 stars! Dobbs quickly and efficiently put the wheelback on my car and replaced the spare. The customer arrive was excellent and I will definitely be only using Dobbs from now on for my auto needs.

Having problems with your vehicle don't come here. I had problems at another location so I came here after spending a grand and my car still not working I get laughed at by the manager when I said I don't have anymore money to give them. I'm making sure no one I know comes here and getting a lawyer

Great staff! I had my autistic grandson with me. He was well behaved. They gave him a truck and 4 cars to keep. He was very happy.

Always friendly. Problem is I got my tires rotated and when I got 1 mile from Dobbs I got a low tire pressure warning. I m assuming they rotated the tires but did NOT check the tire pressure. Did not have time to go back as I had an appointment.

I had a caliper brake leak and took it to Dobbs to look at it. The manager said he wanted to replace the brake lines, pads and rotors as well as the caliper. There was nothing wrong with the brake line. However the rotor had brake fluid residue on the inside from the leaking caliper. So that was accurate. They didn't really need to be replaced though. Just cleaned off. I replaced the caliper, rotor and pads myself. I took it to another shop in Collinsville that took three hours to do a brake bleed job. Dobbs would have done it in an hour. They do good work on cars. You just have to be careful.

Scheduling appointment for drop off and next day service was easy. Work was done and I had my car back by midday. Excellent guys at the counter and always feel like I ve been treated honestly and fairly. These guys are my go to now for tires and auto services.

This was my first time going to a Dobbs. I knew something majorly was wrong with my car that needed to be repaired. By far this is one of the best places I have been to in a long time that cared. They answered all my questions and were able to show me exactly what was wrong with my car. They were very professional and genuine. They were very honest about what needed to be fixed. My request was just to make sure that my car was safe to drive again on the road and they went above and beyond my expectations. I couldn t be more thankful for their service. I would strongly recommend everyone to go here, especially for women are ladies that are looking for an honest mechanic repair shop.Thanks again A grateful customer

We got a flat on the highway and stopped at Dobbs to get the spare tire replaced. We were on a long trip and in a bit of a hurry to get it taken care of. Staff got the work done quickly, the problem was the final bill. The first price was $148, then staff came back and said they made a mistake, the tire they had that would work the best for our truck was $178. Finally the bill for the tire once we were ready to pull out - $272. Lesson learned- commit the salesman to the number in writing before the work is done

Very helpful, didnt mind picking me up & dropping me off. Every one was friendly, Cody, Mike. Just an awesome experience. Normally I dont take my car to Dobbs because usually you all are too expensive but my last two visits were really reasonable & customer service was stellar. I will continue to support this establishment, i am elated with my overall experience. Thankyou!!!!

Asked about tire replacement service that I had and was told that my tires were now too old even though I paid over $700 for them then they said that they were that my bill was only $600 and it included an alignment and something with a tail light. These are not correct numbers. I had no tail light work done and I know that that bill was over $700. They also kept my tires that they took off my car that were only replaced because they were too small.

Pros: good work quality, nice peopleCons: overestimate their work times and you pay the price because of it.I ended up coming here to have some minor exhaust work done (2 new clamps and hangers) and was charged 1.5 hours of labor ($247.43) for a job that barely took 40 minutes to do. I wasn t even there for an hour and a half. I get you have to go by the book for hourly rates but still. That s pretty sleezy. If it takes 40 minutes to do an hour and a half job you might wanna re-think your hourly rates on some of your jobs. The only reason it s not a 1 star is because the job looks well done and the people were nice. But yeah, if you go here, they ll overestimate their jobs and run your pockets.

Staff, was great! . Walked in without an appointment, and they got our vehicle in right away. Helped me select 4 new tires. Had an issue with a valve cover and they promptly corrected it.

Very professional and thorough. Finally fixed my car after having it at Cahokia Dobbs twice and getting a battery I probably didn't need. They explained everything to me and gave me a print out. Will definitely drive out of my way to go to Collinsville and skip the one 5 min from my house.

I was having issues with aftermarket rims and tires I bought. I didn't get them from Dobbs, but they ordered what I needed to fix my issues. It wasn't thier problem and they definitely did not have to help me, but they did. Thank you to Mike, Dale, and the rest of the team at Dobbs. Much appreciated! I have been a customer of this location for many years, and will continue to be for years to come

We were from out of the area and found a nail in our tire with a slow leak. They got us in and fixed our tire the very same day. They did a great job! We had called other tire repair places in town and No one would help us for several days. Dobbs gets our vote for best tire repair place in Collinsville IL. Rhonda

My car is in bad shape. I needed my transmission fixed because of a leak. Not only did they refuse to fix it, but they charged me $30 to look at itI will NEVER bring another auto to them, nor will I recommend them to my friends and relatives.I only wish I could give them a lower rating.

We've had to take both the car and the truck in for a number of things since December. We didn't really do anything maintainence wise besides oil changes and wiper blades, maybe a few other things too but my father passed 8 years ago and he was the 1 who dealt with the vehicles, so a lot was wrong with both. They've always been very good about helping with whatever new crisis comes along. They're very nice and helpful, of course at this point I'd rather not have to see them again for a few months since I've been like 4 to 6 times lately.
