From out of state doing construction. Went to lunch with a pool of transmission fluid under my truck. Called another shop and they wouldn't even check my hoses or seals, only wanted to put a rebuilt in or nothing. Chrosno's was amazing. I had the truck towed their and he had it inspected and fixed the next day. Affordable, reliable, and friendly. If you need transmission work I highly recommend them.

Bob was very upfront about the issue I was having, didn't try to upset me anything, he actually explained to me simply and in terms that I can understand and gave me the choices available and let me decide how to proceed. I will highly recommend this business, what a world class experience!! Funny thing though, I had a check engine light come on and the car started running in limp mode, on further inspection, some wiring got pinched in the motor mount and grounded out, same wiring that needed to be checked when remounting the transmission.

Bob and his wife were super helpful with my drag car TH400. Customer service has been phenomenal, and fair priced. Did everything they could to make sure I didn't spend unnecessary money on my build. Looks like I've got a trusted trans shop to work with.

This transmission shop is the best! My work truck broke down with transmission problems, and I had it towed to this shop. They went above and beyond expectations in every aspect. The office manager gave me a ride to a local car rental place to get a rental while mine was being repaired. In the meantime, Bob and his techs got to work on my vehicle immediately, because I was out of town, and needed it quickly. They found a broken cable, repaired it, and charged me $50 for the repair. I cannot recommend this location enough. You will not be disappointed.Service: Transmission

I had trouble with my van and Bob did a great job troubleshooting the issue. As it turned out it was not a transmission issue and he recommended a shop where I got the work done at a very reasonable price. Bob delivers the kind of old fashion customer service that is rare to find these days. I would not hesitate to recommend his shop for anyone that needs transmission work.

This company is awesome. They saved us $2400!!! We originally were told by another business that it was going to cost us $2400 to get our transmission fixed. We decided to get a second opinion and man, am I glad we did!! Bob is very knowledgeable and explained to us what the problem was, which was actually very minor and he fixed it for free!! I've never had anyone do that for me before. I was just amazed! The staff was very personable and friendly. We appreciate them greatly for what they did for us and would highly recommend them to anyone with any kind of transmission problems.

My husband and I would like to thank Bob for the prompt attention he gave to properly and carefully diagnosing my cars issue absolutely free of charge. My husband has been using him for his transmission work since the late 80's and has always been very pleased with his excellent work and service.

From this point forward, Crosnos is where I send anyone and everyone I hear say they need transmission work. What might be considered above and beyond for other shops is Crosnos standard service.Here s my story:I made an appointment with another shop in Edwardsville based on high ratings online. I have an old wagon which I purchased along with a warranty some years ago, and it became obvious the transmission s days were numbered. Unfortunately, so was the warranty. I made the appointment as suggested by the individual on the phone: right when they open so they could take it out while it was good and hot.Life took a serious turn and I ended up hospitalized, having major surgery scheduled the day after the appointment. By the grace of God, the widow-maker would not dictate my fate, and my bride, knowing this needed to get done, kept the appointment.It did not happen like it should have.Fast forward post-surgery.A dear friend recommended Crosnos. As soon as I was able, another friend picked us up and took us to get our vehicle. I was told no one would take care of the problem.We drove it straight to Crosnos.They immediately took the time necessary, driving along with me and confirming what the last highly-rated shop failed to: the transmission was failing. They were not sure about the warranty, but would do their best. Within 24 hours I received a notification the warranty work was approved. I hadn t finished reading the notification when Bob from Crosnos called me and exclaimed, They are going to take care of you! Bob and his staff are AWESOME. The place is immaculately clean. They are extremely professional and communicate very well. They do an exceptional job, and I'm picky. I highly recommend them for anything related to transmissions.

I can not thank this business enough for their understanding and compassion to replace the transmission of the vehicle we just bought. They were so kind to put a rush on this recent purchase for us, that turned out to be bad news! I was very distraught due to the fact that I wanted to be able to drive 75 miles to see my elderly mom. I can not thank you enough for your swift and urgent repair order! Within 2 days of receiving the replacement, You had it done! I will be forever grateful!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! I will use no other shop. In fact,I do ALL my own maintenance outside of transmissions because the few places I trusted both have long retired. Bob and his staff are as honest as you'll find in the automotive business. No upselling but they insist on doing the job right. When it comes to transmissions,trust me,having a through job done right the first time is what you want. All that said,their prices are still very reasonable for the product they put out. They're done 4 rebuilds for me over the years and also installed a clutch for me,before I felt comfortable doing it myself. Whether you just need routine work or a full bore race transmission,you can do no wrong by choosing Crosno's.

Before yesterday I have never been to this shop. I was expecting to get blown off by everyone like usual. But NO!! I brought in the top cover of my transmission because I was very desperate since I could not get it put back together. One of the workers helped me put it back together in no time and told me how to do it and told me if I couldn't get it to bring it back up and he would help! Great customer service. I will definitely come back to this shop and only this shop!

Last week I notices transmission leak. My 2009 Hyundai has 262,000 miles one it. The owner at Crosno's said leave it. I'll check it out and call you. He called me later that day and said "if the car was mine I would not fix it. Being a small leek just put a pan under it. He also said the car could last another year are two but with that many miles on it it's not worth fixing. If I wanted it fixed it would cost me $250.00. I took his advice and thanked him.
