Took my car here to have repairs done back in July of 2023. Their customer service could use some help. Will never take one of my vehicles here nor, would I ever recommend. They refused to fix the alignment on my car due to not being able to afford tires at the time, even though it should have been covered under my repairs and insurance. Now I have to figure out how to come up with $1,000 to fix it.If you're looking for an amazing auto body place, look up Caliber Collison in Glen Carbon. Very professional.

As somebody who doesn't know much about cars my biggest fear when looking for a body shop it to get taken advantage of. I had a weird niche issue on my car that I had a lot of trouble getting fixed anywhere else. I was quoted everywhere from $1000-$1300 for this fix. Truth be told most places flat out denied to work on it. I was recommended Collinsville auto body and I couldn't be happier. They quoted me quite a bit less than every other shop I went to and were very clear about why they were charging what they were charging.They were fast, efficient, kind and affordable. I never felt like I was taken advantage of for my lack of knowledge and they went the extra mile and gave me a ride to work when I dropped my car off. Awesome, awesome people.

After going someplace first they couldn't get me in for an estimate until next month. I went to Collinsville Auto body got an estimate right away and I'll be getting my car fixed soon.

They will never get my business again. Horrible experience. I was rear ended and driven into a ditch on the highway. Very violent impact. When Collin did his very quick assessment of the damage on the rear of my car only. I informed him that the car had a vibration and slight pull to the right due to the accident. He arrogantly told me that this type of accident does not cause suspension damage therefore would not have caused the vibration or pull to the right. Then when i get the car back, the trunk lid did not align with the right quarter panel, the rear window defroster did not work, and the vibration and pull were still there. Showed Collin the trunk and he said the accident did not cause this and therefore not their problem. Have pictures to prove otherwise. Everyone that sees my car immediately spots the trunk issue. I quickly inform them of who did this unacceptable repair job and what Collin's remark was in response to it. They claimed they drove my car and did not notice a vibration or pull. So i took my car to a mechanic and he fixed both issues. Now i have to fight with the insurance to get reimbursed. Took the car back to them for the defroster but they did not fix it so they wanted me to bring it back again. Way too many trips to their shop. So i finally fixed it myself. Will try and get the insurance to reimburse me for the parts and my labor. They think they are smarter than the customer and are a better expert about your car than you. Going to put a sticker on my car pointing to the trunk lid misalignment with "Thanks to Collinsville Auto Body" printed on it. One good note, the paint job was great.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I have never had experience with Collinsville Auto body until I was in an accident that required much needed repairs. It took them less than 5 days to complete the job! All of you were absolutely amazing! Above and beyond treatment from start to finish! Oh, and their work . SUPERB!! I will always chose them when needing auto body services!! Colin and the team were great to work with. Took my Honda Accord to their shop to have some minor body work done for an insurance claim. Their work was top notch! They took care of getting us a rental and communicated with us the whole time it was being worked on. They even detailed the car before turning over the car. While they had it he quoted me a price to replace the headlight assemblies and the drivers seat because it had broke.Fast forward to current date and we had them replace the seat and the headlights and they again did an excellent job on the car. Detailed it before giving it back to us and communicated with me the whole time. If you need a body shop for insurance claims I recommend these guys! You won t be disappointed.

They turned my old Dodge Ram from not to hot. Wish I could post pictures here too show how good their work is. I had lots of hail damage on my hood and front fenders plus I wanted my bumpers and grill painted to match the paint on the truck. My existing hood was so damaged it was better to take a used hood and paint it. It's an older truck with a unique paint color so the task was a big one to make it look good without painting the whole truck. Old paint fades and makes it harder to match the factory paint code. Colin said they could do it, and he was right. I was worried that it might not be possible, but Colin's confidence in his crew and knowledge of what needed to be done made me feel good about the process. I had talked to another shop about doing the same job and he had almost talked me out of having the work done, because he made it sound impossible to make it look good. On top of all of this, my truck died when i pulled in and would not re-start. They also diagnosed that problem and fixed it while it was in for paint. Thanks Collinsville Autobody. Got hit by someone who wanted to work outside of insurance, when we took the vehicle in they were confident they could do the work and gave us an estimate. We got the money from the person that hit us and the Auto Body shop was now unwilling to do the work because "they couldn't make it perfect". Seems like they lowballed us and didn't think they could make as much off the repairs.Going to be out quite a bit of money, it seems like, since I asked for their lowball estimate from the person that hit us. Doesn't seem like an honest way to do business.

Yes! Recommend highly! I went to a few autobody places in town and the man with the perfect beard was so personal and i felt so comfortable there that i just accepted whatever their price was to repair my mustang after someone did a bump and run on my driver's side while driving to work. Didn't use our insurance and their price and time to get me in to fix her was a pleasant surprise

Collinsville autobody (911 N bluff Rd)Approx Cost: $1000 w/o insurance using new bumper and old grill, $2k w insurance everything new, needs to be turned into my insurance firstEstimated date of completed work: Nov 29 (more than one month from quote!)Note: Collin didn't look very closely at anything. Gave a general quote that I feel was based around my deductible. Did not bother to get my name or info, told me everyone was going to charge the same and everyone was backed up with work because of part shortages, which, a different collision center was able to find the necessary part at the second place they called. I just feel like they didn't really want my business unless it was an insurance claim.

They go above and beyond care and customer service. I had a tree fall on my 200& Hyundai Santa Fe. They took care of everything, this was a stress Free experience. They kept in touch I was informed every step of the way. Collin fixes my windshield wiper blades and that s wasn t apart of the accident. He saved me money when he replay my battery. They fixed the paint on my door from a previous owners mistake. When I got my car back, I felt like I had a new car. I had a awesome experience. Great customer service. Colin had me set up with an appontment to replace my cracked windshield. He went through the dealership and had a rental car ready for me. He even called my insurance company for me. Best customer experience I've ever had!

CAB replaced our bumper after an accident. They were awesome. They stayed in contact with us and the insurance company. Our car looks great. They even cleaned the car inside and out after the work. Collin was great.. Easy on me.. When looking at my vehicle was straight forward and honest with me on the quote he gave me. He was consistent with the other quotes I'd recieved so far. I would consider getting my work done here if he wasn't so far. But if uour in Collinsville Illinois and you need body work. Look up Collinsville Auto Body.This drive way is separate from the other business next to it. So, if you following Goolge maps make first right or second left.

Had a insurance claim and decided to go with them worst mistake I ve made. They replaced a door on my camaro and within a couple months noticed the door started making a weird noise when I close it and even had the window fall off the tracks they said they d fix it but still have to charge me for a mistake they did. Don t seem right but it s how they want to do things.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Those guys are amazing! They are professional and do quality work every time. Yes sadly I see them too much. Ha. I'm not the luckiest driver.
