If i can give this place 0 stars, i will. My Boyfriend went to this shop to get a Tune up. Well, they did the tune up. When my boyfriend got home he checked the liquids in the car and noticed that they had not done the proper oil change. The car did not have enough oil like its supposed to. They charged him more than what they should. My boyfriend went back and told the young guy what was wrong, the guy got smart with him to the point of almost fighting. Very rude, unprofessional, and they steal your money. Horrible place!

They're the best, guys! extremely amiable and treats you like family. They did a terrific job straightening out the exhaust I placed on my Mustang but couldn't quite get perfect. I am very picky about who I have work on my car. They quickly got me in and out for a very affordable fee. A+, many thanks, Jesse

When you go to the mechanic, you go to get a problem fixed. This place doesn t do that ..they re there for the money. They ll do a mediocre job and charge as if it was a good job. We went to get a problem fixed in a car, they didn t get the job done. The problem wasn t fixed. In my opinion, they re horrible. Horrible people who wouldn t I be surprised if they were exposed to be not only because of their slimy way of providing customer service, bad prices, fluctuating prices but for other reasons too .what s the point of giving people a guarantee/warranty if when you go in a few days after they basically disregard a guarantee/warranty just to tell you it ll be even more $ than the first time ? Everyone in there should quit being mechanics and find something more suitable for such people with low skill sets.

This place is a scam, please avoid this location if you want to avoid paying extra at another dealer to fix what they were suppose to fix. The guy that works here is very unprofessional and very rude. it is overpriced, Very bad car service, costumer service. He laughs in your face when you go back and tell him your concerns.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

These guys are the best! Very friendly and treat you like a family. I am very picky with who I have work on my car but they did a great job straightening out the exhaust I installed on my Mustang but couldn't quite get right. They had me in and out in no time with a very reasonable price. A+ rating , thanks jesse

I first spoke to the guy over the phone he said $50 to check the car and if is fixed there no charge. I dropped off my car at 8 am and he said he should have it today and then he calls me back and said until Monday, I asked him how much and the price changed from $290 to $380 and I said no thanks I ll pick up my car then he said is $70 to look at it. I told him his a liar because he said it was $50. I asked to speak to a manger and he said his the owner and laugh. This place is a scam.

My muffler broke in the middle and i thought i needed a new one. Luckily it was a small repair. They showed me underneath my car and explained exactly what was going to be done. These guys were quick and inexpensive. Plus i got an oil change while i was there. Ill definitely be back!

I dropped off my vehicle at California Mufflers & Brakes for repairs on February 14, 2019 since the check engine light was showing on the dashboard and the car was hesitating on acceleration. An hour later, the owner called me and told me that their diagnostic tool indicated that I had a damaged transmission and that I needed a new transmission. I refused the costly repairs. Fifteen minutes later, she called me back on the phone and told me that their diagnostic tool pointed to a bad sensor and that I needed a transmission flush. I agree to the repairs. Later that day, I picked up my car and everything seemed fine. However, on the following morning, my vehicle started to hesitate on acceleration once again and the check engine light came on. Later that day I took my car to another auto shop and found out that the transmission oil pressure sensor was not replaced and that the transmission was not flushed. I also learned that transmission oil was leaking from the left front axle. The broken seal on the axle was replaced, fixing my car problems. On the following day, I went back to California Mufflers & Brakes and talked to the owner in person. I told her about the issue I was having with the repairs and that I wanted a full refund. She refused, saying that the car had been fixed. However, it is clear that my car was misdiagnosed and was not repaired. If you value your time and you do not want to spend your hard-earned money on fraudulent repairs, I advise you not to do business with California Mufflers & Brakes. They will rip you off! I have no choice now but to spend more of my time and money to resolve this issue through the courts. If anybody out there had a similar experience with California Mufflers & Brakes, please get in touch with me.

Terrible business. Terrible mechanics. Brought in my car for brake job, had more problems after the work was done. They broke my ABS sensors and caused damage to my rotors and calipers. They also claimed to have changed my oil but they didn't. Because I seen the same filter on that another shop uses. They charged me 30 dollars for an oil change they didn't do. Scammers and thieves!!!! Stay Away!!!!!

Got a custom exhaust on my audi here, Carlos is experienced, friendly and professional. Answered all my questions and made sure it was exactly how I wanted. Great job keep up the good work I'll be coming back.

I have gone here a few times for my jeep liberty and then for my Mitsubishi eclipse. Both times they gave me very good prices and I never had to come back for those problems again. They have great customer service and I would definitely recommend this place.

Waiting on my call back for warranty work that I know never got fixed in the first place. They still have time to make this right. Steering position sensor issue on Cadillac.

Dont even bother..took my truck in and they did a terrible!!!! job welding 2 catalytic on my truck l i took it back to them because is was getting louder when i drive!... they dont warranty there work soo i paid 220$ for nothing...and they will still charge u agian to fix there own crappywork ..

They told me i need a new alternator and new battery they charged me for both when i got home checked my battery and it was the same one they are thiefs stay away dishonest people and i think they didnt change my alternator either
