This company is apparently under new ownership. The new owner is carrying on the excellent service and reputation of the prior owner. I couldn't be happier with the service that I received on my Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer. This is the easiest 5-star rating I've ever given. Had a serpentine belt replaced along with 2 pullys less than 3 months ago. I don't know if the belt wasn't routed correctly or the belt was defective. However when I called 2 days before Christmas explaining the belt was fraying horribly, they said we will come pick it up the next day. They did not, they called 3 days after Christmas asking if I still needed it fixed. I understand things happen but I was told when I took my vehicle there "I'd rather you complain about the price a little than the quality of the job". Well I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the job and was left stranded for 2 days...over priced and the craftsmanship doesn't back up the price.

Done a great job was a wiring problem that I spent a ton of money trying to fix (and I hate wiring) they got it fixed today happy as can be finally works and wasn't near as expensive as I though it was going tp be. They welcome to all my future wiring problems in the future! Lol

Worst place ever... don't recommend anyone to go here will take 20 years and you might have to put some of your parts back on in there drive way couldn't pit my cold air intake back on idk plus you will never get a phone call back have to drive up there if you wanna talk to them

The owner took the time to discuss what he knew about a vehicle (F350 diesel) I had purchased. He has been the mechanic for that vehicle for years and the knowledge he had about the truck really helped me have confidence that it was a good purchase. Very helpful. Recommend this business.

Needed new tires and had my appointment scheduled. Ended up having a flat before scheduled appointment. Called them immediately and they moved up my appointment- no questions asked. Was back on the road with brand new tires the next day. Very professional and easy to deal with. So glad to have someone local!

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Cowboy Up. They were very professional, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. I was especially impressed with the layout and condition of the service area. The two customer service dogs were a bonus delight.

Tom and Kelly are great people! Tom is very good at what he does and will do his best to help anyone at anytime. He stays open late and comes in early to help accommodate people. They re very honest and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone anytime!

Communication - 0 / 5I had them work on my car, I provided parts.One of the parts had a issue. They did not call me to ask if I wanted to buy a new part and installed the broken one instead.Told them to check an certain issue on the car. They Acknowledge the issue they did not call me to ask or provide details about issue.Work ethic - 3 / 5Took longer than expected.Put factory hold in bolts back on my rotors. Big nonoShould have just been tossed took a while to take them off even with a 10ft breaker barCompetitive prices 2 / 5Told me the price would be 760 ended around 1,300

Simply put the best mechanic in the area my 2009 dodge ram sustained massive amounts of damage tom ressurrected my truck to even making it better. I highly recommend cowboy up very clean work area, amazing staff and vast amounts of knowledge and experience. Tom will go the extra mile for his customers and explain every detail so there is no questions or doubt. Check him out you will not be disappointed with hos service and proffesionalism

Tom and his employees are great at what they do. They have great work ehtic. I couldnt have been happier to bring him my escalade to this place for repairs. They fixed everything and at a reasonable price. Thank you for all your hard work we really appreciate you.

I had my F250 4x4 front axle u-joints replaced in Benton. After the repair was completed I found my that my driver's side hub now had a vacuum leak and the automatic 4WD would not work. I ended up taking it back to the original repair shop and had to pay more money for them to add new seals . This still didn't fix the problem so I talked to Tom at Cowboy Up in Christopher. I ended up taking it to Tom and the truck was fixed the first time. Tom took pictures and video of all work done. I will, now, always take my truck to Cowboy Up Auto to have it fixed correctly.

Super nice to deal with, extraordinarily knowledgeable, they go the extra mile to make their customers happy. One example - Tom & Kelli (the owners) gave me a ride from Christopher to Benton so I could pick up a prescription before my pharmacy closed, then drove me back to their shop so I could get my vehicle.This is the place to take your car or truck.

Cowboy Up Auto did a great job repairing my auto. I am very happy how everyone at Cowboy Auto treated my wife and me. If I ever have a auto breakdown I hope it's close to Cowboy Auto. Yes I would have it repaired there again.

Wow..what can i say about Tom and his business that i haven't said already....absolutely one of the most honourable business owners i deal with. Tom and his gang are worth the money. Thank you Tom for showing the world a real mechanic. A real guy that cared.

I worked for Tom for several months this past winter and tom is a great mechanic. He will spend the time to get it right and fully explain everything to you once he bids the job, that s the price you pay no matter what happens. I remember one time a older gentleman stopped in the shop on a Saturday afternoon his truck was at Walmart in Benton, Illinois, broke down. Tom suspected it was a fuel pump issue after talking to the man. me Tom and I jumped in Toms truck and drove to Benton hit on the gas tank a few times truck started and drove it to shop and fixed it that afternoon saving the gentleman a tow fee. Not many shops have someone do that or are open on Saturday. Tom is always available no matter what time or day.

I bought a 2005 dodge neon from them for 1500 dollars and I have had to spend over 2000 dollars to fix all the stuff that was hid from me by rigging it to look like a good car. They got run out of Gillette Wyoming for shady practices. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I will give no star for this place! I am a business owner and recently had them look at one of are commercial pick ups. We drove the Ford truck there and dropped it off. It needed a tune up. When we arrived to pick it up the guy immediately told us he did nothing to the truck. Needless to say we did not get the time up we asked for , we got a blown motor. SO NOT TAKE UR STUFF TO THIS PLACE!!!! THEY WILL PUT BEBEs down n your intake so when you fire your vehicle up you have a damaged motor ! DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL ! I WOULD NOT TAKE A BICYCLE TO THIS !!!!! Something that was a simple job turned into a NIGHTMARE for us!!!!! WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO NO OIL!!!! I WOULDNT LET THEM CHANGE THE OIL ON YOUR LAWN MOWER EVEN !!!!
