I had my rear brake pads and rotors replaced, as well as an oil change and tire rotation. Service was excellent and fast; job was completed in less than 3 hours. The price was right- labor was half of what I was quoted at another mechanic shop, and tire rotation was done free of charge!

Got my brake pads and rotors replaced here. They started making noise six months later so I had another mechanic look at them when I brought the car in for an oil change. Turns out they installed them incorrectly and left out a key part which damaged the new rotors so I had to have them replaced.My wife also mentioned some uncomfortable comments about her appearance when she picked up the car. Would not recommend this mechanic.

I never had a mechanic go above and beyond to help the way that Sam did for me I had a problem with my transmission. I took it to three mechanics.They were all going to charge me thousands of dollars to get it fixed not to mention they all lied and said that they would replace my transmission with a new one even though they don t even make that transmission anymore. This place was beyond fair and honest which I really appreciate, because God knows mechanics take advantage of women. I give this place 5 starts for sure! THANK YOU SAM!!!!

These days It is very hard to find an honest and straight to the point mechanic that will not take advantage of you but i can say with out a doubt and most certainty that Sam is very honest and fair on pricing and would NEVER rip you off or cheat you because he has character and standards and also stands behind his work no matter what! His team is also very quick at servicing your vehicle! Less wait and down time, I was very shocked on his team's timing . thanks again Sam and credit to Joe C. for the recommendation! Continue the great work guys! May the Lord continue to bless your business and more importantly Jesus Christ died for your sins and Loves you all so very much just believe in Him and you shall be saved!

Such a good experience recently having a new battery installed and oil changed. They were transparent with their pricing upfront, staff was really friendly and helpful explaining the process, and had the work done in less than 2 hours. Edit: And the owner just replied to me and is still pushing part of the blame onto a business that is well known for replacing car parts, saying he's not responsible if I bought the wrong one, and saying it's "my choice". My dude, it's not healthy for me to walk into your shop of horrors again. Don't yell at customers from your personal phone. I had to block your number.-Don't say I didn't offer payment for labor. I did multiple times on Saturday and it was refused, then the manager called and yelled/argued with me from his PERSONAL cell phone while I was at work today, gaslit me by saying this wasn't a big deal, I shouldn't cry, the part ordered might have been made wrong, etc everything under the sun.I came in again today to offer payment once again without any further inspection/work on the car. I wanted this to be over with. Sam refused payment again, so as I said, don't come asking for money. I've already wasted enough time, energy, crying, and gas money trying to replace this part that someone at this business told me was correct to order for my make and model. They looked at my phone and confirmed it was correct. But there were issues with the wiring. Something was wrong, they weren't really explaining well. Cue me calling my mom sobbing and having an anxiety attack on Saturday because I didn't know what to do if the wiring is incorrect. It's not safe to drive without a ride side mirror. I can't afford to return the part and pay for shipping, get another part, and go another two weeks without a right side mirror.I have never been so anxious walking back into a business to the point where I felt physically ill. Don't worry Sam, I'm not coming back. Going back to my parent's old body shop from now on even if I have to drive/have my car towed 40+mins. I'm so thankful it wasn't something under the hood that needed to be replaced. :l Gonna go drink some tea and try to move on from this. I don't hold grudges. But I know poor miscommunication.

This Auto shop is everything in the World of repairs! Sam, the owner, is probably the most trustworthy wonderful man in the industry!! And his staff follows suit as well. I have done about 10-12 repairs and upgrades to my Mercedes Benz there and they are reasonable compared to many , and the very best in trusted, exceptional repair! I cannot thank Sam and Staff enough for being literally th very best in this world of horrible service at surrounding competitors! We had a coolant issue with our BMW and brought it to Expert Auto Service. The communication was excellent and transparent at each step, with the overall cost being far lower than quotes I had gotten from other shops. Overall one of the smoothest car experiences I've ever had

I wouldn't bring my cars anywhere else. Don't expect any fancy waiting room but DO expect quality repair work at the best prices in town.

Update a year later and this place remains awesome. Have had more work done on my 8 year old car and service and pricing continues to be great!(from 2020): Had 3 unrelated repairs needed within 10 days and Xpert was able to help each time at reasonable prices, also done timely after I dropped off in the mornings. It certainly helps they're located just down the road from home! I recommend to anyone who needs car repairs. Helpful, straightforward, explains anything you don't understand, and competitive prices.

Sam the owner is a great guy! I always use this place for oil change and all other mechanical issues that I face. They are very efficient and honest, they never try to up sell anything or over charge for their services. In fact, their prices are much cheaper and their work quality is much higher than all the mechanic shops in the area.

The best auto repair shop, hands down. Sam, the owner, is very knowledgeable and treats all his customers as if they're the only one. Everytime I had an issue I spoke with him directly. He would show me what was wrong, and give me a menu of options: The "perfect fix", the "cheaper option", and sometimes the reassuring "Hey man this looks fine, you don't need to worry about it right now." Excellent and honest service. The Best.

First I went to this place for oil change, they are amazing. Second time my car stopped on me and they were able to come and get it from my house and fixed it right away and I was able to get it the same day, pricing are fair and excellent. Sam and his crew continuously set the bar for your trusty go-to auto shop. They re here 6 days a week to build loyalty in customers and they are succeeding. Prices are unbeatable and they ve done extra work free of charge to make sure everything meets or exceeds expectations. They ve even done out-of-the-ordinary work to keep the rain out of my jammed sunroof. I don t know who I ll have to look out for me when I move out of my apartment across the street - maybe I ll have to live there forever?

As I'm new to Chicago,, i was looking for a good auto service station with mechanics i can trust. Xpert Auto Service came recommended to me so I went to check them out. I wasn't disappointed. Very professional and honest work. They now have a new customer for life.

Very honest people. My toyota Camry was shaky while driving and I went to Toyota dealership they were asking $450 plus tax just to change front rotors and brake pads without even properly inspecting the car. I brought it to this place and after test driving it they found that my brake pads and rotors were in a pretty good shape. The problem was from one of front tires. I only had to replace the tire for 20% of dealerships price. Now the car is driving and feeling very smooth.I highly recommend this place
