Dale and Darryl Wagner you are the GREATEST. This place is the best. Had to change my previous post because it was all wrong. It took awhile but these guys took care of me like no one has before. Turns out it was not an engine problem not internally. It turns out that the so called mechanic who did the install did not check the external parts. The problem was external not internal. I will not be going back to the mechanic who did the install ever again. WINDY CITY ENGINE AND PARTS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Five years later and my car is running like new.

I have been in the performance industry for over 28 years and I have alway used this place for all machine work, the staff is great to work with and being that the owner is still hands on eyes on is definitely a plus. All work is checked to assure perfection. For guys like me you can't beat the (((FAIR))) prices! If you haven't noticed I (((LOVE))) this place of business... I wouldn t reccomend anyone to have a motor built here. It looks like they have a bunch of kids working here. I brought in my ls1 to be set up for boost, they told me I needed head work, cylinders needed to be bored out a little, pistons, rings, all new bearing, understandable precautions. $5000 later with assurance of a capacity of 15-20 lbs of boost safely I install it, do a proper break in and get into tuning, almost instantly the motor blows up about 4500rpm on 14lbs. Upon tear down found out 3 cylinders cracked with multiple bent rods, I later brought everything back to them and all they had to say was too much boost they refreshed the heads and sent me on my way. A complete waste of my time and a lot of money for sloppy work.

DOYou will NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! WARNING!!!!!! I went to these guys for a complete engine rebuild. After 6 months of driving the engine started burning oil and had sever blow-by. I had the engine under warranty and brought it back to them so they can fix the problem. Three weeks later they called me and said it was ready. Upon driving home the engine started smoking and making loud chugging noises. I brought it to my mechaninc and it turned out they hadnt even pulled the engine back out. They also broke my flex pipe and covered the front half of my car in grease. I am currently looking into sueing this buisness. They left me over 2,500 dollars in the hole. Do not go there.

Had my own personal engine rebuilt here about 8 months ago .Engine running perfectly fine. Great service !! Very good workers at there best . I strongly recommend to get ur engine rebuilt here ! Family own business .

Worst place to go, I went in to get a engine rebuilt and all they did is just paint the engine the engine was never rebuilt, I never got my money back. Never again I will use their services, for this messed up work I would have done it myself and saved myself $1,500.00 Dollars.
