Great honest customer service! Took my carIn thinking I was going to need new breaks they took a look and let me know I still had 50% life and wouldn t be needed for a while. Highly recommend!

I had the transmission and brake fluid changed in my Nissan Rogue along with the driver side blend door motor replaced on the HVAC. They got all the work done in one day and even provided a ride back to my place after vehicle drop off. They included a cabin air filter change. They also swept out the car and gave it a wash for free which was a nice surprise! Miguel and his techs were very nice and helpful in explaining the work. The total cost was less than a third of what the dealership quoted, but I felt like I received dealership quality work and experience. I highly recommend VMB.

Great place. Came to service my car for engine light issue and also my tire had a nail. They are very dedicated and honest. I went to several tire service locations and they would not fix my tire and rather wanted me to change the whole tire.If I could give it more stars I would.Recommend it to anyone!

I needed an emergency repair. They performed the work promptly, at a fair price. The workshop appears to be neat, clean, and orderly. The customer area is clean and comfortable.

Just getting around to posting this review. This was a horrible experience and I know I was RIPPED OFF.I took my SUV here to diagnose and fix a sound coming from the engine. I was told exactly what the issue was and the cost, which was $1100. I said, okay fix it. Two days later after the repairs were completed, I paid and started the vehicle, only to hear the exact same noise that I was told would be fixed. While the lady at the front desk was nice, I was shown that the repair was completed, with no explanation about why the sound continued.So the issues I have with this place are 1. Diagnose the issue correctly, 2. Don t give the vehicle back to the customer without any communication that the issue wasn t fixed, 3. Taking me to the garage to show the repair was completed without acknowledging the sound we all hear wasn t fixed is ridiculous.Stop ripping people off.

10/10. I would give more stars if I could. The people working at VMB are dedicated, knowledgeable, and honest. I will never take my car anywhere else! I tell all my friends and family who live in the city to use VMB for any car troubles/issues. I have used them twice since moving to the city and have been absolutely blown away by their customer service, efficiency, prices/costs, turn around times. I feel incredibly taken care of and not taken advantage of. They are incredibly honest/transparent and upfront regarding costs, parts, labor, and how long the job will take. Incredibly grateful for the times they have helped me out in a crisis. They are a staple of the Avondale neighborhood!

Fantastic service and highly recommend. They were really helpful in working with my tire warranty company and made sure my repairs were covered. Communication was great and very reasonable pricing. Quick turn around on service too! Elia was very helpful.

VMB exceed my expectations. The team is not only skilled and efficient but also honest and transparent. They never try to upsell unnecessary services and always prioritize safety. I appreciate their dedication to customer satisfaction. The waiting area is clean and comfortable, and the prices are fair for the quality of service provided. If you want a mechanic shop you can trust with your vehicle, look no further. Five stars all the way!

I've been taking my car to VMB Auto Clinic for regular maintenance since the shop opened as I've been a customer since the shop was California Auto Clinic under different ownership. The staff at VMB Auto Clinic are honest and trustworthy. I've always received great service and continue to remain loyal to the shop even after moving further away.

I can t say enough great things about VMB. They have been honest, fair valued, and respectful with each visit. Not only from listing all potential problems with the car but to recommendations of what to fix first. I especially appreciate they added We cannot guarantee an amount of time you will get out of a car but maybe you could get X amount of time. But, we cannot no for sure. That level of transparency, willingness to show me parts (like walking under the car), and being pint blank honest is what s earned the five stars. I have taken two cars here for two years and it s been completely worth it. These guys did a excellent job on my Nissan Moreno. I was over concerned about having my car ready for winter. I bought all brakes and rotors for the vehicle and these gentlemen were honest they told me that the back brakes did not need to be changed. They could have just changed them to make money but they saved me money. That is a BIG plus in my book. Honest people are hard to find these days. The guys inside were very helpful and informative and gave me a great inspection for my vehicle (1997 Toyotal Corolla) and a fair estimate. I'm not very car savvy but they let me look at the car too and ask questions. Even tightened my belt during the inspection and fixed part of my problems! First thing on a Monday morning no less! Highly reccomend.

I needed to pass an emissions test and my car needed 2 catalytic converters and 2 rear oxygen sensors. Danny did an amazing job repairing my car and fixed a botched job I had done in a different garage a few years ago. He raised the car and showed me his impressive work, replacing the pipes and properly installing the parts. I dealt with Jason on the phone and he was very helpful explains the issues and coordinating a pick up before the shop closed. Highly recommended!

I live next to Velasquez auto care on Belmont, and when I told them my brake fluid was low, they referred me VMB. I live in the neighborhood and drive by here every day on my way to work, but I have never came in for service; however, based on my experience, I will be back. It turns out that I didn't need anything in regards to my brakes other than the fluid, so I had them do a tire rotation which I knew I did need based on my driving. The estimate was conveniently sent via text for my approval, topping off all my fluids was complimentary, and they gave me a discount on the rotation from the price I was originally quoted. Presumably this is because I was a first time customer, or perhaps it was something else; either way, I'm grateful. Also, the service manager, D'armani, was super friendly, and so was the service technician. Both were knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly. Lastly, even though I walked back to my house while they worked on my car, their waiting area is pleasant and clean. Kindness matters, and I found that here!! Thanks VMB!!

I'm really disappointed with VMB as they started out great, but slowly I had more and more issues as time went on. I stuck with them through a bunch of problems hoping it was a temporary thing, but really it hasn't gotten better and I'm unfortunately going to need to find a new mechanic. A few issues have been: -confirming with them multiple times that my car would be done by a certain time, then not having it done, even when calling 10-30 minutes before pickup and asking if it would still be done on time.-confirming the night before and morning of an appointment, then showing up and the place was closed-being told I needed a new transmission that would be $4-5 grand, then when I took it to the dealership for another opinion, no problems were found. When I dropped the car off to VMB, I explained what the issue was. When picking it up, they asked me if I knew about the very issue I stated when dropping it off which did not make me feel very confident. Car was also very late in being ready despite being told numerous times the four hour window I confirmed was fine.-being charged for the wrong, highest tier oil change, and had to call twice to find out why. They did refund me and apologized, but again, did not make me feel very confident when I had to call multiple times to find out the answer.Giving two stars instead of one because I believe they have some good things going on, but too many things have happened to make me want to come back.

My last visit at VMB auto clinic made me think about all other shops where I maintained my cars. After being properly greeted and treated I will definitely come back at this location. I had a car emergency that needed quick fixing. I called this place because of the proximity to my apartment but it s unfortunate I will never go back. They were super helpful & provided great service but I paid $600 for a battery replacement. We got ripped off & learned our lesson.

My car was stalling and then wouldn't turn on unless i keep charging it. I immediately seen the sign to this shop and decided to give them a call. They were super helpful even offered to send a mechanic to come give my car a jump and take it to the shop. About a hour and half later maybe 2 they called me to come pick up. My battery and a part that connected to it needed replace. I thought I would pay double what i did was pretty affordable fix and they come with a great warranty! Loved the service and how they were quick to help me! Will definitely come back when needed!

Exceptional service! VMB is honest and they do great work. They thoroughly inspected my vehicle and advised on which services I was most in need of - brakes front and rear as well as rear suspension. They were able to complete the inspection and work in (1) one day! Plus new, brighter headlight bulb and restoration! Danny is a superb mechanic and Jason is helpful and communicates clearly on the phone. VMB Auto Clinic is my new BESTIE. Denny is the most amazing mechanic on this planet! He loves his job so much he sings along to his music as he works magic in the garage.I now have a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited and love it. Took it in for an oil change and to mount mudflaps. Impeccable work. Always friendly, engaged, thorough, and efficient.My old 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited is was fully loaded but now that she s rolled over 200k, she s become very high maintenance. But it s no surprise to me that she s now singing after she visit s Denny! He fixes all that ails her and it warms my heart. And she s sets my credit card on fire. But Denny and VMB are worthy of their VERY fare pricing and only use the best parts. Thankfully Denny is a master mechanic and great guy. Everyone in the shop is pleasant and love what they do and where they work. That s half the battle in life. Love what you do and where you do it. I ve finally found my go to car mechanics shop in this big city. Thankfully VMB Auto Clinic is right down the street on north Cali, just north of Belmont. I loved my 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 and showed her a lotta love with the perfect healer, Denny @ VMB. She s in retirement now but Denny has a newer model to pamper. Great service under stressful times specially being a Woman that doesn t know a lot of mechanic terms.Went to a few usual shops that wanted me to leave car overnight and do extra work that wasn t required.They were kind enough to order pizza for us while waiting since it was a few hours.Plus they had the usual coffee and donuts.Im thankful for the hospitality and service.

Took 3 days for them to figure out the battery needed to be replaced , which seems excessive especially since i was told it would be a same day turnaround for diagnosand repair of the issue. Either way,during that time frame each day I was told I'd receive a callback with an update and each time I was told this, it didn't happen exceptthe first day. I had to reach out multiple times per day after being told things like "I'll call you at x time", or "it'll be x more hours". On the first day I was specifically told it was not the battery as it tested fine and looked good after being inspected. Speaking with the tech, the narrative given was completely different. The actual repair was handled fine, though it would have been like 20% cheaper elsewhere. The poor communication and customer service I received from jaisen ensures I'll never return or recommend the shop, however.

Very happy to find a reliable, price transparent auto clinic so close to home! Walked in during the afternoon and by the evening I had new sets of brakes on all four tires. Best of all - Customer service was top notch - everyone I interacted with was incredibly nice and friendly. I ll be back in the future!

They replaced my alternator and checked my rotors and brakes. Great guys and were transparent. They got the job done less than 24hrs! Will definitely be back for any and all auto repairs in the futures. Thanks so much!
