These guys do great work and have good prices. My exhaust rotted out at the flex pipe and they were able to salvage most of the original exhaust and fixed a section in the rear. I will definitely be going back these guys are great!

Shop always opens late by 10-15 mins. The guy who does the actual welding and repairs isn't very friendly, but the quality of work is outstanding, and even though they are charging more these days, you still can't beat the prices. Be prepared to wait awhile as they are always busy.

Poor customer service, the muffler has dislodged from the connection after one day. Good luck getting it looked at by them! I have tried taking the car to them 4 times over the last week and I have been turned away each time saying that we are so busy, sorry I only have one worker, there is no way for us to even look at your car and come back in 5 hours, even though they close at 4.Poor work, poor customer service and won t bother to take ownership for the issue they created. Cheap service and you get what you pay for, Stay away.

Great quick service and amazing prices. I went to get an estimate at another muffler place, $560 for just the muffler. Valesquez muffler quoted me $200 for an entire weld to the front of the resonator. Highly recommended!!!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I called during lunch, Waldo answered and got me set up with an appointment right after work! Waldo and his crew saved my muffler, without making me pay for an entire replacement! These guys are honest and quick. Needed what I thought was a full replacement from what another shop suggested. They replaced only what needed replacing and cost me a small fraction of what the other place wanted.

Best prices for fully custom exhausts in all of Chicago's north side. Give them the right fitting parts and it's done! Get your 2.2 liter and 2.4s sound like v6s! Come over to Velasquez!

Came here for a muffler delete first thing in the morning. $200 and 1hr later I walked out with a smile on my face. These guys are fast and they always get the job done. Will definitely return for all my exhaust related stuff.

Replace the muffler with them this past summer, but the muffler has dislodged from the connection after only 2 months. They wrote they have a one year warranty. But good luck getting it looked at by them! I have tried taking the car to them three times over the last month I have been turned away each time saying that look, we are so busy, there is no way for us to even look at your car and that come back another day and hopefully we are not so busy - we don t need more business . Yes, exact words. They don t need more business.Fine. I m done and so are my recommendations to others about your service.Poor work and poor customer service to assist when you mess up.

I wish i could gove 0 star.Went over there to do a straight pipe and after he saw i have mercedes he overpriced me. I was not satisfied with the price and he sent me to another velsquez shop ( base to him they will do it chepar because they have more workers )and im sure he called them and they told me more than him.I returned to do to n elston shop the straight pipe today.When i want back there they told me they dont do straight pipes. Totally liars. My friend was also tryed to do straight pipe as well so definetly not going anymore to that shop again.Rude and liars workers

Great prices and professional work done here! I've been a customer for the past 15 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.. Repairs are usually same day within a few hours..

Fast service for me! I've called around for prices and this place had the best deal to replace the flex pipe for my Camry. Arrived around 8:30AM, only one car ahead of me, so wait was not long. The mechanic showed me what needed to be replaced, it didn't take long, and I was on the way out with my quiet engine. Warranty was offered for one year. Recommended.

where should i start.. besides that they are the best professional muffler mechanics . I got there i say close to 2:30pm and was told i had to wait 1 hr to get checked and priced , bc the main mechanic had to go pick up something ... but i guess they called him while i was waiting and said what i needed and quickly told me the price and i was done by 3:15pm. I needed two flex pipes .. i was charged $220 . I think that was super reasonable . I highly recommend if your looking for Quality, value, professionalism, and on time ....Thank You Velasquez & Sons !!!!!!!

Don t waste your time. I ve had work done here before. They used to be very good and reasonable. However, now they have become so busy they have disconnected their phone and if you walk in they don t even want to talk to you. They re very rude and ignorant. They will not let you leave the car. They tell you you have to wait for them to finish whatever they are doing then they will look at the car and maybe they can fix it that day. There are too many other muffler shops to waste your time with this one. I only gave it one star because I had to.

These guys are awesome! They always greet you, and try to help with whatever issue u may have. They are very friendly, fast, and helpful. They even check the air pressure in my tires and add air if they it! I have stopped there a few times on my way home and they were great! Thanks guys!

Recommended to come here from another mechanic (he doesn t fix mufflers but does other auto repairs). I was worried that they were going to rip me off cos I m a girl but they charged me exactly what my other mechanic told me it should cost.I came here early when they just opened their shop. Needed a part of the exhaust replaced cos it was broken (loud startup then quiet after it ran for awhile). Job took about 35 mins.

They are very skilled with exhaust systems and more. As a retired dealership technician, I was impressed with their knowledge, ability, and welding skills. I had a catalytic converter and a muffler installed on my 94 Grand Cherokee. The price was very reasonable and the fit was perfect, and after a year it's still purring along. The parts they use seem to be of a high quality; Everytime I look under the truck, it still looks like a new installation. I will be taking all of my exhaust work here, as well as reffering everybody I know who is needing exhaust work.

Nice guys that know that cash is king and when paying in such, you can get a much better deal than if paid by credit card. Went up there Saturday morning and needed nee catalytic converter changed and they did it almost right away and charged me little over a $100.

Super quick exhuast fix. No contact wearing mask the entire time very nice people.A giant puddle broke my exhuast last night it was LOUD. I called a head and I was done in less than an hour. Great service
