I don t usually write reviews but I just have to for this shop. Jose was very professional. I got my muffler deleted in just about 30 minutes or so. Sounds amazing and the mechanics were very easy to talk to. Price was also very reasonable compared to a lot of other shops in the city.

Jose was friendly and did a great job with my muffler delete! The price was very reasonable for both the muffler delete and a new exhaust tip. They had a few dozen exhaust tips to choose from. I was in and out within an hour. Would highly recommend!

I came to this shop to put different exhaust tips on my car. Alan did a fantastic job making sure everything was done efficiently and properly. I am thrilled with the outcome. I would definitely recommend them! They are very professional and trustworthy. Thanks again!!

They gave me a fair price for a muffler repair job. They did not try to sell me a whole new system as other shops have. They gave me a next day appointment and gave me timely service.

Had the catalytic converter stolen off my nephew's truck and it was recommended that I call Vasquez. They got me in the next morning after I called. My nephew wanted a straight pipe instead of converter, and they also replaced a bad resonator. The price was great and after all that, the truck is quiet now (including noise it made before the theft) and runs even better than before. I definitely would recommend this business.

Had my cat convertor stolen and that s obviously very stressful.I went in and they were great. Literally got me in and out in 30 minutes, they were polite and worked with me on price. I would definitely recommend.

They saved over $362 to fix my flex pipe and did it in less than 30 minutes! Highly recommend. A franchise muffler place quoted me $582, but applied a $100 coupon. After I said I'd get another quote they offered to reduce an additional $100. I appreciate the great service and honest pricing at Vazquez & Assocites Muffler shop

I am not from the neighborhood I just picked a random muffler shop they installed some resonators on my exhaust I love the way it sounds now I would recommend this place they have reasonable prices ! Thankyou!

Could recommend this place a million times. Always great service they will tell you exactly what is wrong without trying to give you the runaround or take every dime you have Allen was awesome I was in and out with wonderful service.

My mufflers pipe cracked in half due to rust- & all I needed was a pipe extension added (or simply welded back together) I went first to an auto repair shop on Chicago ave - they quoted me $300+ - I came here to Vazquez right after not knowing what I d be quoted, all I knew was I wasn t going to try a 3rd place as I didn t have time. Vazquez took care of me (in/out 30min tops) for only $80! I wasn t looking for cheapest option- I just wanted something fair & that made sense- this is the spot!

I called these guys this morning because the other shop I had an appointment with mechanic didnt show up and they told me to bring my vehicle in. I needed both mufflers put on (purchased online) and headlight installed which I also purchased online. These guys were able to install everything in a timely manor and reasonable cost. My front bumper which I thought I was going to have to replace was somehow fixed by these guys. My bumper was all caved in on the corner and in bad shape. These guys were able to pull my fender out so headlight could fit properly and also did some amazing work on my bumper. Im definitely bring my car back to have motor mounts replaced and whatever other maintenace / upkeep Ill have in the future. These guys seem like they do it all.Service: Exhaust

I needed to replace my whole exhaust system due to rust. They was able to install the new exhaust and inspected the cats all under an hour! Allen was very honest and knowledgeable! My truck runs great now and I will happily bring my truck here for future services!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

These guys are great.Twice they've helped me out - once when my catalytic converter was stolen, and once when I needed to replace my muffler / exhaust.Both times they were able to get to my truck immediately, they quickly did great work, and charged a fair price.Highly recommend going to this local shop vs one of the chain stores.

They replaced my catalytic converter without my consent. The part was only a few years old so felt super sketchy and they tried to make it sound like they were just doing something nice for me. I went in to get my muffler repaired and they fixed that but then just replaced my catalytic converter for free and acted like it was a nice thing to do for me. It wasn t! They re sketchy and untrustworthy. Do not go here.

great service. discovered my catalytic converter was stolen last night and had a new one installed in less than an hour by 10am this morning, even on a saturday. very friendly and fast. definitely helped make a stressful situation much easier.

Brought it in for a muffler, it was quick service, which is why they get 3 stars. They replaced it with one that fits the pipe, but is smaller than the original, so my car is quieter with the muffler hole fixed, but louder than I m use to from the original. Wish they would have given me options for something quieter. They just said flat price of $210.

I had to get my exhaust repaired and I was quoted it would be $250 maximum by a mechanic. I went here to get it fixed instead and they said it was going to be $400 cash only. After doing additional research, I found out a fair price for this repair would indeed be $250. So I proceeded to call to obtain an explanation of the breakdown of the cost. The owner started arguing with me in an incredibly upsetting way dodging all my questions. I explained to him that I just wanted to make sure I was getting a fair price, but instead I felt like he continued to bully me. I picked up my car that evening. The car was fixed and I had to pay $400 in cash. The owner avoided my request for a receipt several times and finally, I was given a piece of paper where he had written down the names of the 3 parts that were replaced - not including price, labor cost or taxes. I would highly recommend going elsewhere and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.Service: Exhaust

I left Tiger Auto and found this little place by accident but the owner was very pleasant I didn't have to wait 3 or 4 hours like the owner of Tiger told me I would have to wait, plus they did have a problem with me taking pictures which let's me know that he's on the up and up. And they did a great job. Thanks so much.

My catalytic converter was stolen so I was extra HOT . I googled a couple muffler shops and decided to check out a couple. Some really tried to rob me, them I stumbled upon Vazquez & Associates. I couldn't have been happier. Great service, friendly, honest staff, and great pricing. I highly recommend

False advertising that's all they are I spoke to them on the phone about my catalytic converter I explained everything to them completely everything that it was the top catalytic converter they told me to come in that I was going to be $280 I called them again and I explained everything about it and they told me yes come in I went in this morning all of the sudden the price went up to $850 that was wrong over and over I explained to them everything about catalytic converter they just wanted to get me to walk in the door so they could hit me with this price everything they told me was false as much as I explained it to them and he said yes yes come on in I know which one it is 280 to put it on and now it comes up with 850 watch out they come out with different prices I wouldn't recommend this place to nobody after what they just put me through

Very rude, rude, rude owner. Made an appointment on Friday for sat at 9:00am. I go there sat at 9:00 and the owner says I did not make this appointment. My guy did! I cant take your car in. I asked him if he could take the car in today if possible. (Shut up, dont talk, I'm talking) - this was his answer. Buy felicia!!!! I would make sure no one i know steps a foot in that place. I'm not entitled to your business, I own one myself. I understand busy, but I won't take rudeness. I'll take my $2000.00 job elsewhere.Service: Transmission

If you want to get ripped off definitely visit this location got quoted 550 to replace exhaust pipe after my catalytic converter including a new muffler. Took it elsewhere and I paid 250.00 out the door.

Drove to Chicago and exhaust pipe snapped just as I got into downtown. Loud as heck and it was hanging about to fall off. Tried a couple big name shops and they were all booked up. Vazquez said come over and he would take a look. Single stall family run local shop. He put it up and showed what broke and fixed it in 20 mins! I would highly recommend them over the local chain shops unless you like to pay for the fancy ads and uniforms they wear. Got me on the road with a nice quiet car again.

would never go back there...those guys are just trying to still money from you. I'll explain. My van was driving bad ( it had no power to accelerate). so i assumed that it could be some problem with the catalytic converter. So I came here and ask those guys check if I'm right. I asked Jose to check if my cat converter is the problem of my car driving bad... So that guy checked and came to me and said.."You have 4 cat converters and 2 of them are clogged and that is the problem...I asked him if he is sure and he said he is... He proposed me to replace those two with the original or aftermarket. i decided to put the original one. So they did their job. They obviously charged me... But when i started driving it , the car was driving the same way. So i came back and told them them the situation. So they were trying to give me some stupid arguments...like...we replaced this two but another two can be bad as well...we are just a muffler shop....it also can the whole exhaust system clogged...so we can do all of that stuff for extra money... I was literally just shocked....Are u guys kidding me.?? so i asked them if they really checked the cat... as a result i found out that they didn't even scan the car and checked it just with a hammer... i was really confused how that kind of business can even exist...totally not a good place to fix your car.P.S.i put one star rating. But If i ever had a chance to give less, I'd do that
