There are a few reviews accusing the manager of this place of being irritable or rude, that could not be more opposite of my experience. He got me in the morning after I found out my tires were urgently in need of replacement. The office and waiting area are nice and quiet and the service was fast. The cost was about what I m used to in the south suburbs and felt totally fair. Even when there was a slight delay and I had to come back for two of my tires I was served quickly and well (with a thousand apologies for the very minor error that led to the delay). This is now my favorite tire shop in the city!

I guarantee you would get a great and awesome experience, there's a comfortable and relaxing waiting area where you can indulge and chocolates and cold water. Spanish Speaking as well. Your guarantee definitely to get Brand name New Tires here. Two thumbs up & 5 Stars Business.

Amazing service overall, definitely recommend them. I had an emergency flat, they were able to find the problem, give me options on repairing it, priced it, and repaired it in a timely manner. Thank you, you have an amazing team.

I hit a pothole on the way in to Chicago and had to find a tire shop on a Saturday that could help. I called 3 other shops to feel them out and called Carson Tire Service 4th. I am so glad I did. They were able to get me in and out quickly that day, they had by far the best quote on tires installed, and they even tried fixing the tire I popped for no charge I had before selling me the new tire, even though I had agreed to the price of the new tire. I was nervous about the cost of needing last minute service 3 hours from home but was blown away by their friendliness, professionalism, and honesty. Highly recommend this tire shop.

The first WEEK of owning my new car with run flats, I hit a nail. Tire depleted. The dealership was closed and since I live in the neighborhood, I drove over. They were so accommodating and honest: he offered to fix it but told me that technically they weren't supposed to. The staff was welcoming and offered that I could wait inside. They even went out of their way to search for a tire that would fit if they would have to replace. The price was incredibly fair, especially since this was on the spot and short notice. I really appreciate their work and them explaining everything to me so I felt okay with what they charged. Finally, it's great to support a local business, so this will be my go-to for tires. Thank you!

The old gentleman who 'seemed' like he was in charge there, looked angry the whole time I interacted with him. Almost like he didn't want my business. Also, the receptionist was clueless about where I would make the payment for the service. Isn't she supposed to know?HOWEVER:The mechanic who worked on my car, was excellent! He was polite and worked amazingly fast (i needed a tire patched and it took about 15 minutes tops).The price for the service was quite reasonable too.

We were visiting Chicago when it snowed. I didn't realize how bad my tires were before leaving town for the trip and was sliding in the snow. Mr Carson had a great set of tires in stock and was able to put them on in an hour. I was very impressed with the speedy service and fair prices. I was able to drive safely around town and back home. The tires are great all weather tires with a 60000 mile warranty. I highly recommend Carson tires!

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I have been stuck on the side of the road in Chicago for 5 hours through the night, in the middle of a storm. I was treated so disrespectfully by an employee this morning when we sought their services/assistance. He kept walking away from me while I was simply asking if they had the capabilities in their shop to help us. After sharing we had been stuck for the last few hours he shouted over his shoulder I don t care what you ve been doing! as he walked into the building and out of sight. Absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional.

One year ago, happy. Needed another tire today, and happy. Ended up being all 4, but, owner shopped his tire friends for me and I got a great deal. If you want tires, the right ones, good value, come to Carson!

I called ahead to confirm if they had a tire for my vehicle the rep over the phone advised me to come in as my tire were losing air quickly. After arriving no one were at the reception desk so I had to walk back to the garage where I found the attendant. After inquiring if they have a tire for my car the attendant advised me I d have to wait 30 minutes to confirm if they had my tire size. This was the WORST customer service I ve EVER received. PLEASE DONT DO WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

I had to go to them because they were the closest and I will probably never go back to them. The owner seems to be a cranky old man and the costumer service was give me my $110 and get out of my sight. Luckily this is a 3 star because the gentlemen who actually fixed (replaced) my tire was great.

Was stranded in Chicago for work forgot to put my new tire in my car for my spare. Gave these guys a call and they showed up in a timely manor and they had my tire in stock. The guy who did the work was cool as hell did small talk and on our way we went. Definitely recommend these guys if you need a new tire done out on the road!

Roy at Carson Tire is the best. Thank you so much for your honesty and integrity. I know that I am safe on the road with my tire repaired. This place offers mobile tire repair, tire repair in the shop and commercial tires for commercial trucks and fleet trucks. Give Roy a call! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Got a flat on the highway . Made it to this place. Charged $36 just for swapping tires on rims . That s ridiculous. I m not getting a tire out of it I just needed them to put it on the rim. They also took about 35 mins doing it which my other tire place takes 5-10 mins and charges $15. Rip off at its finest .

Fast and great service! Place looks great compared to most tire shops. Owner can come off as grumpy at times but I m sure he means well. His employees are friendly and have great work ethic.

Would not recommend!!! He was trying to charge me $ 5 per tire to give me air. I would not mind paying for that air . However his customer service sucks.....this used to be a very good place before. However I would not recommend them now.....Sad but true.

It's my third time there. In and out in less than 30 min and $20 to have the tire fixed. Can't beat that! Not to mention that it's within a mile from my house. Clean waiting area with TV, water, ac/heat... what more can I want?

I was there hoping to put my winter tires and wheels on my SUV... Juan took.the car right of way but was directed to the office to wait for (I guess the owner) to give me the price... I had to ask after 10 minutes waiting for him to talk to me, then I'm asked for the tools to take the nuts out and then a tool to install the new wheels... So I decided to leave the place .. I thought that being a tire center w 4.5 starts will have the tools needed and have a great customer service... But they don't have none of them... If you ask me, I will tell you ..find another place.

Poor customer service, I pulled in and they acted as if they didn't see me (only car there). After they finished laughing the guy started taking the tire off. He said ,"what u want a new or used one?" I said,"how much? " (him) Oh a used one is $35 and a new one is $78. (Me) used one. (Him) Oh I think we only have new ones, let me check and see. I priced the tires (p175/65r14) and Walmart had it for $52 and $12 for installation. Sears had it for $35 and $8 for installation. The guy said u not thinking right, plus taxes they gonna charge u more than $80. I politely told him u know what my money spends anywhere so I'll just take it somewhere where the customer is always right.

I just left this shop and I was more than pleased with the service. I was able to get what I need, service was quick, and most importantly I got it all for an affordable price! I will definitely return and recommend to others!

My friend took her car to get her tire fixed. Bent rim needed straightening and new tire. Quoted $300.00. Took it to the tire place over on grand and they did everything for $89.00. I m sorry but Carson s tried ripping her off. Will never go there and will tell everyone to steer clear.

Quick and easy. Honest as well. Was lied to the day before by another company who wanted to charge me for four new tires. 20 dollars and this tire was fixed. Kudos.

Great professional service this morning. My family left out to find a flat tire and could only make it to a gas station. Putting air in didnt help. Carsons has a mobile service that came to us. Prompt efficient reliable. Thank you.

Had a coach bus steer tire changed today and it was quick and reasonably priced. Will use their service again in a heartbeat. Very efficent. Thanks for your help.

I am currently at the CASRSON TIRE SERVICE INC Shop on 1627 W Hubbard St in Chicago. It is 7:45am on December 28, 2017. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT ANY CARSON TIRE SERVICE INC anywhere again and Wil be asking everyone in my social media networks to do the same.They have an employee named ROY who is very ignorant, mean spirited and argued with me, merely because I asked how he was doing. From the moment I walked in, he looked like he had a disturbed look on his face. He went back and forth with me for 5 minutes.As polite as I tried to be, he said to me, you are not my brother, don't call me that, why are you concerned about how im feeling or how im doing and if I am having a bad day what can you do about it. This is more than about tire repair, this is about CUSTOMER SERVICE.I work hard for my money and refuse to be verbally abused where I spend it. To CARSON TIRE INC., are these the type of employees you hire? You should have training classes on customer service and sensitivity training classes as a requirement of orientation for all employees.Yours TrulyAn UNSATISFIED Customer

They are crazy with the prices, don't waste your time in this place, they charged me $25 just for a patch for my tire that's more than doble of what I normally paid
