Recently had Turbine replace the transmission in my 2007 Hyundai Elantra. I was recommended to come to this shop by my usual mechanics at AAA and I'm glad I listened to their advice. Greg is probably the most patient and respectful mechanic I've met to date and really took the time to explain the entire process and answered all my questions. When the new transmission arrived at his shop he brought me around back to let me inspect it which put my mind at ease about the service. I just had my one month follow up yesterday, after the transmission was installed and I have not had any issues. Definitely would recommend Greg and Turbine to anyone looking to get this kind of work done. Truely a rare gem in the auto repair world in my opinion.Service: Transmission

Greg was great to work with as I had to get my transmission replaced. He was very honest and clear when it came to the repairs needed on my car. I felt like he was looking out for my best interest and not just his own. Been goin to this shop for years great customer service. Had a transmission installed on one of my cars & I recommended my brother to him he had a trans installed also with no problems. Greg will go beyond most scan for codes tell you anything he notices isn't right. And changed my supplied engine oil & filter free with my with transmission oil & filter change.

Rude to me on phone and hung up on me. Was telling me he couldn't rebuild my transmission and I questioned him on it because it was suspicious to me. See I tried rebuilding the trans and I made a couple mistakes and lost reverse a few months later so I asked him if I could rebuild it how come you can't doesn't make sense to me

Greg and his colleagues are the best guys I could wish for! Highly recommend his service.My wife and I were on our way home to Maryland from a road trip and got stuck with our converted van on the highway in Chicago on a Friday night. The local Goodyear diagnosed an issue with the transmission and referred us to Greg. He was very kind on the phone and was able to look into the issue the next day. The issue was a little larger than anticipated, so we decided to leave the van in Chicago for the week and fly back to Maryland. Greg has found the root cause, fixed the issue plus more, gave us a lot of insights and kept us informed over the phone. He even drove it for a few days to make sure they issues was really resolved before we had to fly back to Chicago.We picked up the van this weekend again and we made it home safely to Maryland. No issues at all and Greg charged us a very reasonably price. We were so lucky we ended up at his place! Thanks again Greg & team. All the best!

Tony here. My review is based on the service I received when I caught a flat tire. Had just caught a blown out tire from the construction that was taking place on southwest highway. I caught the flat right in front of the shop, before they opened. Greg, was just arriving and I walked up and asked if he could assist me with changing out my tire for the spare. He gladly assisted me with out hesitation. Because of the professionalism and courteousness, I highly appreciate him and give this shop 5 stars.Service: Tires

Greg is so kind and really trustworthy! As a woman you go places like this and seem to be mistreated. This is my second visit and he Leary s makes me feel welcome and gives me honest advice. Wouldn t take my baby any where but to him!!!

I recommend Turbine transmission,I have been taking my cars over there for years. They have great customer service, the recommendations for repairs have been spot on. Greg has been great and never recommend repairs that you don't need or aren't cost efficient. I recommend anyone who needs auto repairs to Turbine transmission. P.S ask for Greg!

I came into this place and talked to greg who misled me claiming that all I needed was new transmission lines to fix my car's problems. After I paid him to fix the issues he then claimed that I needed more work past what he had already told me the previous week after I paid to have the Hoist check done. Great guys to deal with. Open on Saturdays early, before posted 8:00 am time. Spent about an hour there and was referred to a awesome garage G&W Automotive to install a PCM. Cost for Transmission evaluation was minimal and professional advice plus referral is priceless. Go here before you go anywhere else.

Greg, the owner, couldn't have been more professional, personable and STRAIGHT UP. He could have told me my transmission was kaput, and I would have paid for a new one. It was the transfer box shift cable; relatively easy fix. Honest, fair and caring. Can't beat that!!!

If your looking for a shop, that always puts the customers best interests first, than dont look any further.Fair priceing, quality work, experts in there field.And if they can't solve the problem, because of there honesty, they will redirect you to someone who can.

Greg, Greg, Greg!.....a gentleman and mechanic wonder...brought my car in...with a code (P0750) and he said bring it in and i couldn't be more happy with the service....explained another issue to be aware of and had me on the road...gladly paid the wizards fee at turbine trans.....i highly recommend them ...

Greg and his team are great had a 2003 lincoln town car with a electrical problems but Greg and his team never gave up on my car he is HONEST and prices are really reasonable and he and his team are great hard working people

Don't go anywhere else for transmission work. Solid five star work. Trustworthy knowledgeable and all around great technicians is what you'll find at this place. Man In Charge Greg... not only knows his stuff but also might be able to direct you in right area if you have any other problems with your car. Don't waste your time on guesswork I highly recommend this place.
