Had a terrific experience with the service department today. First time there, for a standard recommended service on my Highlander. I was in and out in less than 2 hours, even though I hadn't made a reservation in advance. Waiting room was a bit dreary but the coffee was terrific and the staff friendly and helpful. A standout was Krista Freeman, Service Advisor.

We worked with Josh. He was outstanding. We explained what we were looking for. After he told us what was in stock, which was not what we wanted, he patiently worked to identify our specific needs and he set off to find exactly what we wanted at another dealership. He was not pushy at all. He said his goal was to please us and he did. A very pleasant gentleman.When a car was quickly located elsewhere he took all the time necessary to explain how all the features worked. He did his best to make the final process as smooth and quick as possible, including processing our trade in.Should we have occasion to buy another Toyota we d seek him out.

My experience with Toyota of Lincoln Park was phenomenal from start to end. I began communicating with Ahmad who answered every single question I had, even liaising with management to provide me with the answers I needed. We moved to sales after the appraisal of our trade-in (which was matched from what our estimate was) and spent the rest of our journey with Cesar. Cesar explained every step of the process and showed us around the car. He has a very positive attitude and that goes a long way. Lastly, I want to thank Ash for getting us a deal we were all happy with.

Had a great experience buying a new vehicle from this dealership. My situation was a bit unique - I was flying in and driving the car home. Given this, I had to do the deal remotely, and when time to pick the car up, had to close rather quickly so I could get on the road. My sales guy Josh, and the finance manager, Stefan, made the process very quick and easy. There were only a few minor issues with the car itself, which Josh rectified, no questions asked.Great place to do business. No gimmicks, no markups, no endless dealer add-ons, no pressure.

Everyone we interacted with at Toyota of Lincoln Park provided the absolute best experience for something that is usually stressful. I especially want to thank our sales consultant, Cesar Martinez. I went for the service for the second time. Now to my astonishment they did not even care to wash my car, even if the car wash service is mentioned on my receipt. And I don't feel the same smoothness while driving which I was feeling last time.I was literally suspicious this time that I put my car in the wrong hands. The service this time was really bad . I will not go here again for any service. The spare part replacement cost too high here. Too many good reviews with customers showing happy faces also a sign of something hidden. I mean why would people care to post photos with their happy faces towards the service?

UPDATE: Within a few days of posting this review I was contacted by the Customer Experience Manager. I also spoke to Mr. Paul Singh and he offered me a full refund. Thanks for making it right, but I will remain cautious if I have to deal with them in the future. I changed my review to 3 stars (from 2) because they corrected the error.This review is for the service department.I was parked across the street from the dealership when I discovered a metal piece gouged one of my run flat tires. I immediately called the dealership since I was so close. I specifically asked if they had a run flat tire in stock for my Sienna. I was transferred to the service department and parts and they confirmed they had what I needed in stock. I drove right over. Spoke to Mr Paul Singh and he reassured me he would replace the damaged tire with a run flat; it was not recommended that I drive with mismatched tires. I approved the estimate and waited for my repair. More than an hour and $356 later I drove away with a new tire.Due to another puncture in another tire, I recently found out that the tire I purchased at Toyota of LP was not in fact a run flat. I feel duped, swindled, deceived. Maybe they felt they could do this to me because I am a female and was by myself. Who knows. I spoke to Mr Singh this week and he claims it was possibly a miscommunication from the parts department, which is still worrisome. I am still waiting to hear how the service department will right this wrong, but I have very low trust in them. I will not bring my car to them for any future needs.

UPDATE: The dealership responded to my review by stating their 'commitment to honest and professional practices.' However, they then proceeded to text me twice, claiming that I still owe them money on my lease despite the fact that my lease has ended, and I have already purchased the vehicle from them. I am truly shocked that a business can operate this way.Original Review:I leased a vehicle through Toyota of Lincoln Park and decided to purchase it once the lease was over. A few months before the lease ended, I notified the dealership of my intention to buy the vehicle with cash. Despite this, I was bombarded with emails, texts, and phone calls trying to persuade me to sign a new lease.In the lead-up to my appointment to purchase the vehicle, I called on two separate occasions to confirm the final price of the vehicle (including any fees and taxes) so that I could obtain a cashier's check from the bank. Although it seemed like a straightforward question, it took some time for anyone at the dealership to provide me with an answer.On the day I went to the dealership to pay for the vehicle, I suspected they would add additional fees at closing. As the salesperson began walking me through the closing paperwork, they presented a document with a blank space where the final purchase price should have been. I expressed my discomfort with signing the document until the final price was filled in. Despite this, they continued to pressure me to sign. I stood my ground and insisted the document be completed with the final price before I would sign it.They visited the finance department, and upon their return, as expected, the price on the document was different from what had been provided to me over the phone on two separate occasions. Unbelievable.The real kicker came after all this, when they handed me a piece of paper to list the names of any friends or family members who might be interested in buying or leasing a vehicle that they could contact. I would not subject friends, family members, acquaintances, or even complete strangers to this establishment.

I brought my car for oil change and regular maintenance like changing cabin air filter. Everything looked good and I gave them 5 star on their internal rating system. Until I open my glove box and notice that it doesn t close anymore. I took the glovebox out and noticed that they have not put the cap for the air filter and it is blocking the glovebox from closing. With the price that they charge and the brand that they represent, I would have expected them to do the very least simple routine jobs right!

Initial visit to Toyota of Lincoln Park for a lifetime Honda owner. George was incredibly helpful discerning the differences between Toyota Rav4 Prime and Honda CRV Hybrid. Both George and his manager Ahmad were exceedingly courteous and inclusive of my kids' opinions, which matters to me greatly as a mom. We thought the service was exceptional and are excited to continue to build our relationship with Toyota of Lincoln Park. Great customer service from the sales department. The finance department however, was where I experienced problems.The car was 3000 miles over the advertised miles.They marked an 18,500 MSRP to 32,000 with an 83 month loan that would bring the total to 52,000.I understand buyer beware, and that every business wants to make profit. Yet, for the sake of brand and customer loyalty, I didn t expect an established company like Leader Auto to try to make its margins from price gouging a first time customer.An 11,000 markup on 18,000 msrp is fraudulent. They did not explain the markups before tagging them to the price. Furthermore, they charged for features listed in the advertisement as part of the original price. For example I was charged for LoJack, and for vehicle and tire protection . They also charged for a bumper to bumper insurance, a feature that we confirmed with the salesperson as a standard and not extra charge.They did not explain these charges to me.I contacted the dealer after the fact and was connected finance team about why the 18,500 car ended up costing 31,000.They explained the extra charges, which included a crazy docking fee. I told them I didn t want extras and that if I had that much money I d be buying a Lexus.They promised to remove the extras and bring it down to 27,000 - which is still outrageous.That was 4 weeks ago. They still have not reached back out. The principal is building up interest.I definitely was naive but hey, here s my review: they are fraudulent, terrible at customer service, negligient with support and please any other dealer is better than them .
